The aim of this study is to describe the mathematical thinking process of autistic students in terms of gesture, using a qualitative approach. Data collecting is conducted by using 3 (three) audio-visual cameras. During the learning process, both teacher and students’ activity are recorded using handy cam and digital camera (full HD capacity). Once the data is collected (the recording process is complete), it will be analyzed exploratively until data triangulation is carried out. Results of this study describes the process of mathematical thinking in terms of a gesture of students with autism in three categories, namely correctly processed, partially processed, and contradictory processed. Correctly processed is a series of actions to solve the problems that are processed properly marked with a matching gesture, partially processed is a series of actions to resolve problems with partially processed properly marked with discrepancy gesture, while contradictory processed is a series of actions to solve the problems that are processed incorrectly marked with the dominance of discrepancy gesture. Matching gesture demonstrate the suitability of movement or facial expressions when observing, pointing, and uncover/calling the object being observed, while the discrepancy gesture indicates a mismatch movements or facial expressions when observing, pointing, and uncover/calling the object being observed.

Elaborating Critical Thinking Skills in TEFL Methodology subject has become one of the 21st century trends, prioritized in the pedagogic process of language courses. Lecturers as facilitators, motivators, boosters, co-learners and inspirational model are the foundation of innovative creativity to adapt and modify comprehensively, and integrate them in their teaching projects contextually; while, the learners themselves play as the active target of learning agents. This modern TEFL Methodology critically makes use of either authentic texts or real texts that are also confronted by the need to approach texts critically. This was revealed in this research, focused on the learners’ activities that enthusiastically engage critical thinking skills in their learning process. It runs actively, innovatively, creatively, dialogically, democratically and in a critical and interactive atmosphere. The importance of applying critical thinking skills in language learning process can empower learners to maximize the objective of TEFL Methodology learning target both oral and written in accordance with their social context. Learners enter in any task using the target language which contains the elements such as identification, investigation, analysis and problem solving then they must think critically. These kinds of communicative task are commonplace for they engage the learners in authentic communication settings. This is impressive and meaningful for the learners. Thus, recommending success in TEFL Methodology subject – as in life - requires effective use of language practically along with some measure of critical thinking.

This study examines ways of improving Arabic's teaching and learning process by applying YouTube video clips as audio-visual aids. Eighteen Arabic students in Kaduna State College of Education and Kwara State University constituted the study sample. A descriptive method with Pre-test and Post-test was conducted. Data were collected through the essay writing, translation, and structure test. The data were analyzed through the descriptive statistics of frequency (f) and percentage (%). The study findings revealed that the subjects performed better and demonstrated linguistic communicative competence in Arabic. Finally, the study recommends that YouTube videos should be integrated into the Arabic teaching-learning process.

Background: Understanding strategies for enhancing learning is central to developing effective teaching practices. Students’ perceptions of these practices are critical for deepening this understanding. Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate students’ perceptions of a group journal activity (GJA) on learning enhancement and to present a model that illustrates the reflective-learning process of the GJA. Methodology/Approach: Three questionnaires (pre, post, and 2 months after) were distributed to 22 expedition participants in 2013 and 2015. Responses were analyzed to identify the learning benefits of the GJA, and grounded theory was used to develop the process model. Findings/Conclusions: A positive relationship exists between students’ participating in the GJA and self-reported perception of learning. Students report the GJA as having similar benefits as traditional personal journal-writing with the added benefits of promoting learning from others’ perspectives, enhancing understanding of others, promoting reflective communication skills, and providing a tangible record of experience which enables continued reflection and learning. A process model illustrates the recursive cycle of writing, sharing, and discovery that the GJA enables. Implications: This research presents the GJA as an uncommon form of journaling in outdoor education and demonstrates the GJA’s potential for enhancing learning. The model outlines the effective use of the GJA.

Teaching is a continuous learning process, often requiring educators to sift through the abundance of available information and retain highquality materials. As a future teacher, I have begun to create a personal library of teaching ideas and aids to benefit myself and my future students, and I am including Cynthia Lanius's Web site, www.math.rice.edu/~lanius/, in my collection. This site serves as a resource for K–12 teachers and students, as well as parents, and has a special section for Spanish-speaking students.

At the present stage of systematic identification and approbation, purposefulness and improvement of various methods in musicology and music-pedagogical levels of education, the creative development of the future music teacher appears as an integral part of his future professional competence. Creativity as well as performance influence the comprehensive development of an instrumentalist musician at any stage of learning. Creativity stimulates the student to extraordinary music lessons. The main form of work in the piano class is individual lessons, which should be considered as one of the leading links in the learning process. They create conditions for comprehensive education and upbringing of the student, allow to solve pedagogical tasks consistently, to develop creative initiative and independence. The analysis of musical and pedagogical literature allowed to single out the following structural components of professional and creative development of the future teacher of musical art in the course of classes in the class of the basic musical instrument (piano) as sensory-emotional, artistic and figurative and performing. The features of understanding the game activity in the scientific literature, the role and place of the game in the educational process are considered. Authors focus on this type of interaction with students, such as game training in their practical activities. This type of work in the learning process allows you to simulate a real situation in which students can form and develop the necessary professional skills and gain experience working with people, as well as understand the specifics of a future profession. Due to its capabilities, game trainings attract the attention of various specialists to work with students. Based on the results of a sociological study among first-year students and graduates of this direction, the authors of the article made conclusions about the effective use of gaming technologies in the learning process. In addition, the authors note that gaming techniques in the process of training image-maker students allow developing important and necessary professional qualities, such as creativity, the ability to relax, the ability to understand other people and adapt to different communication situations.

The article considers the genesis of the concept of «interactivity» in modern psychological, pedagogical and methodological research. It is determined that interactivity runs through the entire history of pedagogical education. The paper analyzes the concept of «interactivity» in pedagogy, methods of teaching foreign languages, programming, telecommunications, multimedia, design, cultural studies, literature, sociology. The purpose of the educational process is to prepare future teachers for professional activities in rapidly changing conditions, the formation of thinking as a factor in the formation of the modern personality of the future teacher and the introduction of democratic values in future teachers of the new generation. It is noted that the competence approach in the organization of the educational process requires the teacher to change the learning process: its structure, forms of organization of activities, the principles of interaction of subjects. It is established that in interactive learning the interaction of the teacher and the future teacher changes: the activity of the teacher gives way to the activity of future teachers, and the task of the teacher is to create conditions for their initiative. The learning process is organized in such a way that almost all its participants are involved in the process of cognition, they have an opportunity to understand and reflect on what they know and think. It is found that the peculiarity of interactive methods is the high level of mutually directed activity of the subjects of interaction, emotional, spiritual unity of the participants.
