The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) students' mathematical communication skills before being given learning using Instagram media containing problem posing in the system of linear equations and inequalities; (2) students' mathematical communication skills after being given learning using Instagram media containing problem posing in the material of linear equations and inequality systems; (3) the effect of using Instagram media containing problem posing on students' mathematical communication skills in the material of linear equations and inequality systems in class X SMA Koperasi Pontianak; (4) the magnitude of the influence by using Instagram media with problem posing content on students' mathematical communication skills in the material of linear equations and inequality systems in class X SMA Koperasi Pontianak. This reseach method is to use the Pre Eksperimental Desaign method. Sampling was done by saturated sampling technique. The instrument for collecting data was a test of mathematical communication skills. The data analysis in this study used descriptive data analysis and inferential statistic. The results of the study were that before the learning model was applied with an average student score of 39.97 which was classified as a failure, and after being applied the learning model with an average of 58.07 was sufficient so that there was an increase, from the research results there was also an influence and also the magnitude of the effect. After learning is applied using instructional media that contains problem posing on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pembelajaran generatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi  matematis siswa berdasarkan kemampuan awal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 6 Pandeglang,  kelas XI yang berjumlah 9 kelas. Dengan teknik purposive sampling diperoleh kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalahThe nonequivalentpretest-postest control group design. Selama penelitian berlangsung kelompok eksperimen diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rataan gain ternormalisasi antara dua kelompok sampel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa  yang  diberi  perlakuan model pembelajaran generatif  lebih tinggi  daripada siswa  yang mendapat model pembelajaran ekspositori; (2) Terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematis (KAM) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa; (3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM tinggi; (4) Tidak terdapat peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa dengan KAM sedang dan rendah. Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran generatif, kemampuan awal matematika   Abstract This study aims to look at the effect of generative learning to improve students' mathematical communication skills based on early mathematic abilities. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were students of SMAN 6 Pandeglang, class XI which numbered 9 classes. The purposive sampling technique was obtained in class XI IPA 4 as the control class and class XI IPA 5 as the experimental class. The research design used was The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. During the research, the experimental group was treated with generative learning models while the control class used the expository learning model. Data analysis was performed on normalized gain average between two sample groups. The results of this study are (1) Increased mathematical communication skills of students who are treated with a generative learning model higher than students who get an expository learning model; (2) There is an interaction between the learning model and early mathematic abilities (EMA) on improving students' mathematical communication skills; (3) There is an increase in mathematical communication skills in students with high EMA; (4) There is no increase in mathematical communication skills in students with moderate and low EMA. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question of mathematical communication skills. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi experiment. The sampling technique in this study is the random sampling technique. Data collected through interview observation and test. The data analysis technique used is the uncorrelated t test. Based on the results of research and data processing, it was found that there was an influence of discovery learning integrated learning model start with a question and discovery learning learning model on mathematical communication skills. Furthermore, mathematical communication of students by using the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question is better than mathematical communication of students using discovery learning learning models.

This study aims to determine whether the Round Table cooperative learning model influences the mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on the subject of Lines and Series. The research method used was quasi-experimental. The target population of this study were all students of SMAN 101 Jakarta and the affordable population in this study were students of XI MIPA. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills as many as four description questions. the instrument has gone through content validation tests, construct validation and empirical validation. After the instrument is valid, reliability is tested where the correlation coefficient obtained is 0.5602. After testing the normality, homogeneity and similarity of averages and cluster random sampling. XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the control class and XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. Based on the calculation of the research data of the two classes, each of them is normally distributed and has the same or homogeneous variance. Therefore, hypothesis testing is done by using t-test statistics with a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the test, the value of tcount = 2.43499 and t table = 1.6682 is obtained, so that it gets tcount> ttable. So reject H0. This shows that there is the influence of Round Table cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta.

This study aimed to detemine whether Student Facilitator And Explaining cooperative learning model affected students mathematical communication skills. The research design used was Posttest Only Control Design. The population in this study was entire seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 2 Somagede. Sampling was determined using Cluster Random Sampling technique. Two classes of sample were obtained. Class VII B, consistend of 23 students, selected as the experimental class which employed cooperative tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model and class VII D, consisted of 23 students, was as the control class which used direct learning. Research results indicated that mathematical communication skills of students who attended Student Facilitator And Explaining learning was better than that of students who attended direct learning. So it can be interpreted that Student Facilitator And Explaining learning cooperative model affected students mathematical communication skills

This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective problem posing learning model-based learning tool for Class VIII students of SMP Nusantara Lubuk Pakam, to analyze the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills taught with learning tools developed based on the Problem Posing Learning model in SMP. Nusantara Lubuk Pakam, to analyze the achievement of student learning independence taught with learning tools developed based on the Problem Posing Learning model at SMP Nusantara Lubuk Pakam, as well as to analyze the answer process of SMP Nusantara Lubuk Pakam students in solving test questions of mathematical mathematical communication skills. The data were obtained through the validation sheet of teaching materials, observation sheets, student response questionnaires, mathematical communication skills test instruments and student learning independence questionnaires. This study uses the 4-D development model Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel by developing teaching materials with problem posing learning. Based on the validation results of the value of learning tools developed through the Problem Posing learning model, the validator team met the valid and practical criteria. The implementation of the learning tools developed through the Problem Posing learning model was in good criteria, namely 87.78% in trial II. Classical mastery of student learning has been achieved in the second trial by 90%. The achievement of learning objectives has been achieved in the second trial, which is 83.39%. Student responses to components and learning activities 94.11% have shown a positive response to the components of learning tools and learning activities developed.

The purpose of this research is to improve mathematical communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model. The method used in this research is (Classroom Action Research). The subjects of the study were 11 students of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Bengkulu University 11 students in conference courses in odd semester 2019/2020. Stages of Study for Classroom Action are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results obtained after being given an action is an increase in student communication skills through the Problem Posing learning model compared to learning before that increase by 60.Keywords: Communication Ability, Problem Posing

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of 'Contextual Teaching and Learning' on students 'mathematical communication skills in terms of students' self-confidence. This research uses factorial design. The population in this study were all students of class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ansharullah Birandang Island in the academic year 2018/2019. The sample of this study is students of class VII.B as an experimental class and class VIII as a control class. The instrument used was a questionnaire instrument to measure the level of students 'Self Confidence and description tests to measure students' mathematical communication skills. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) There are differences in mathematical communication skills between students who take the CTL learning model and students who take conventional learning. 2) There is no influence of the interaction between CTL learning models with Self Confidence on students' mathematical communication skills. Thus in general the CTL learning model influences students' mathematical communication skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh 'Contextual Teaching and Learning' terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-confidence siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain faktorial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ansharullah Pulau Birandang tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelasVII.A sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket tuntuk mengukur tingkat Self Confidence siswa dan tes uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan anova dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran CTL dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. 2) Tidak terdapa tpengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran CTL dengan Self Confidence terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Dengan demikian secara umum model pembelajaran CTL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.

Abstract. This study aims to determine students' mathematical communication skills using the Circuit Learning learning model. This research is a Quasi Experiment study with the design of the Randomized Subjects Posstest Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class X SMA N 1 Pasir Penyu. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The instrument used was a mathematical communication ability test in the form of a description. Data were analyzed statistically by the Independent Samples T-Test. Based on the results of the t test, tcount in the rejection area of H0 can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students taught with the circuit learning learning model are better than conventional learning.Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Circuit Learning.

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam proses pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ini yaitu melaksanakan  model pembelajaran Quick on the Draw. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model Quick on The Draw di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (2) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran langsung di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (3) perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran antara menerapkan model Quick On The Draw dengan pembelajaran langsung di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan the static-Group Comparison. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIIIG dan VIIIH. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan dokumentasi dan tes evaluasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu nilai rata-rata, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMPN 3 Banjarmasin yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Quick on the Draw dan model pembelajaran langsung. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan model Quick on the Draw berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung berada pada kategori cukup. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan komunikasi matematis, quick on the draw, pembelajaran langsung Abstract: Mathematical communication skills in the learning process are needed by students. One of the efforts made to improve this ability is by implementing the Quick on the Draw learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) students 'mathematical communication skills in learning by Quick on The Draw model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (2) students' mathematical communication skills in learning by direct learning model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (3) the differences of students' mathematical communication skills in learning between applying the Quick on The Draw model and direct learning model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. The research method used is quasi experiment with the static-Group Comparison. The study population was students of grade VIII SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. The sample in this study is the students of grade VIIIG and VIIIH. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used documentation and evaluation tests. The analysis techniques used are mean, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the students’ mathematical communication skills of SMPN 3 Banjarmasin who were taught with the Quick on the Draw learning model and the direct learning model. Students’ mathematical communication skills with the Quick on the Draw model are in the good category, while the direct learning model is in the sufficient category. Keywords: Mathematical communication skills, quick on the draw, direct learning

The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) on students' mathematical communication skills; (2) find out whether the mathematical communication skills of students with the cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type are higher than the mathematical communication skills of students with conventional learning. This type of research is experimental research using the pretest-posttest control group research design. The study population was all seventh grade students of Pancur Batu 2 Junior High School consisting of eight classes. The research sample was selected using simple random sampling technique, so that class VII3 was obtained as the experimental class and class VII-5 as the control class with each number of students as many as 32 students. The data used in this study are quantitative data. Based on the analysis of research data, the following results were obtained: (1) the results of analysis and regression obtained that the influence of cooperative learning type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) had a positive effect with a correlation coefficient of 0.741 and a determination coefficient of 54.8%; (2) the results of the t-test analysis with the value of t count = 5.643 and t table = 1.669 which means t count> t table, then the hypothesis Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the mathematical communication skills of students taught by cooperative learning model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) are higher than the mathematical communication skills of students who are taught by conventional learning.
