The use of media is one of the essential aspects of the learning process, because, it will provide a different and certainly more varied learning experience so that it will attract students and make it easier to understand the learning material. This research and development aims to produce a learning media to make it easier for students to understand learning material, especially on the material of  human locomotor organs system  in a fun way. Learning will be meaningful for students if the media used is the appropriate one. The methodology in this research is Research an Development (RND). The type of model used in the ASSURE development model, which consist of 6 stages including analyze learner; state objectives; select methods, media and materials; utilize media and materials; require learner participation; and evaluate and revise. The final results of this research produces a learning media that is useful to support the learning process on the material of human movement organs. The data collection technique used in this study was through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This research was conducted only to the stage of expert validation to test the feasibility of the product. The product feasibility test involves 3 experts, namely media experts, material experts, and language experts. The results obtained from the three experts if the average is 4.5 from the maximum value of 5, or if converted in percentage is 90%, which means the media is included in the very good category. This shows that the framework of the chess game media is suitable for use in science learning material for human llocomotor organs system.

This study explores Android-based mobile learning media design on electrical content. The Media is designed to contain electrical content that is abstract and can not be seen with the naked eye. The content is depicted in a tangible and easily understood by students. The methods used in the development of the research media are Research and Development (R&D), and the development model conducted in this study is the IDI (Instructional Development Institute) Model of research results shows that the media Learning on electrical content is considered valid and the media is easy to use for students and teachers in the learning process. This paper shows the study result of performance assessment instrument development for the learning of fish-rearing technique. The study was intended to develop the new performance assessment instrument and to determine teachers’ and students’ responses toward its using. The study adapted development research procedures by selecting 27 students as the sample. Before the instrument was applied, it was tested by some experts. The result of feasibility test showed that the performance assessment instrument was categorized very good, thus revision was not required. After that, the instrument was experimented to several students. The findings showed that according to the teachers, the media attainment level was classified very good; however, the students argued that the instrument was good. Therefore, it was concluded that the performance assessment instrument was able to improve students’ interest toward practical work, to motivate students in learning, and to help them in scoring. The researchers hope that the study can contribute to the quality improvement of performance assessment instrument in the learning process at vocational secondary school.

The purpose of this paper is to propose an approach for incorporating Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting technique to monitor and continuously improve the learning processes by monitoring the satisfaction of students who used an interactive computer-based learning material, which was produced to solve problems in the Operation Management course. By applying SPC methods, the authors examine the sources of process variation (common or special causes) and analyse the ability of teaching strategies to ensure the acquisition and development of the competencies and skills demanded in current university studies. A total of 184 students participated in the learning experience. The findings show that the learning process is under control and therefore the variation of process is due to common causes. However, the Capability Analysis carried out, reveals that process has not enough capacity to achieve the specifications required by the teachers involved in the educational project. This quantitative approach will not only allow self-assessment, but can be used for comparative purposes (other teaching strategies, colleges, etc.). Thus, the control charting is a complementary assessment technique that should be included within the current Quality and Learning Assurance Systems at higher education institutions.

Learning media is very useful to help students understand the concepts of learning material provided. The use of innovative learning media is still limited to the learning process, especially thematic learning. Thematic innovative learning media is more specifically developed with STEM-based learning based on 4C capabilities, namely the Media Electrical Tandem Roller (ETR). Media development is carried out using the Focus General Discussion (FGD) Method with a qualitative approach. The process of implementing this FGD stage involved the development team of STEM learning tools that aims to validate the media produced without going through field trials. ETR media based on the ability of 4C in elementary schools has been produced for STEM learning. This innovative learning media is expected to be used, especially for teachers in thematic learning in elementary schools.

AbstractThis research is motivated by students' learning difficulties exponent material, and lack of media in the learning process. One solution to overcome this problem is by developing a valid media and practical learning. The purpose of this research is to develop the Android application as a mathematics computer-assisted instruction Role- Playing Game (RPG) on practical and valid exponent material. The research is the R & D (Research and Development) and a method used in developing the media is a simplified method becomes ADD from ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development). Data used in this research is quantitative. The instruments used interview guides and questionnaires. Data collection technique was an interview, validation sheets, and sheets practicalities. Research results obtained instructional media on the exponent material. Based on the results of the validation performed by five expert validation, obtained by 96.83% with very valid criteria. While the results of the practicalities by nine students obtained 84.32% with very practical criteria. This shows that the media instruction as a learning medium can be used in the learning process exponent material.Keywords: Media Instruction, Android Apps, ADDIE, Exponent.

TPQ Al-Istiqomah in the process of learning fiqh thaharah uses the lecture method. The use of the lecture method is deemed ineffective to use in the delivery of this thaharah material, because santri tend to be bored, sleepy and less focused, besides that there are some materials in thaharah that are needed by santri concentration in the process of understanding. Therefore it takes a method or learning media that is more attractive and appropriate to the age of the santri, the media is an audio-visual learning media, this media will awaken more of the santri senses in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning of thaharah fiqh material for santri so that they can understand thaharah and can practice and practice it in everyday life. The conclusion of this study is that it is proven that the use of audio-visual learning media is proven to be more effective in increasing understanding of the learning material of fiqh thaharah compared to the previous learning method, namely lectures. This is evident from the results of the evaluation of the students' learning at the end of the lesson in the form of prayer reading, memorization and practice.

Abstract: This paper aims to describe the use of media in science learning in terms of three indicators, namely: a) diffusion of innovation, b) implementation and institutionalization, and c) policies and regulations. This research was conducted for four months using qualitative descriptive design with data collection technique through questionnaire, interview, and observation. The subjects of the study were class VII on MTs Putra Putri Lamongan and MTs Maslakul Huda Paciran selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that science teachers in Islamic schools utilize various media of learning in the form of visual and audiovisual media designed as a medium of teaching science, for example LCD projector, props, etc. In addition, teachers also develop their own simple media designed to be utilized in science teaching, such as cloth, water, soil, and so forth. Technically, teachers are documenting the use of instructional media in the Lesson Plans (RPP) which refer to the 2013- curriculum format , but the RPP is not always brought during the learning process. In addition, school policy does not provide written regulations for teachers to use the media in the learning process. Keywords: the use of media, science teaching Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran sains yang ditinjau dari tiga indikator, yakni a) difusi inovasi, b) implementasi dan pelembagaan, serta c) kebijakan dan regulasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas VII pada MTs Putra Putri Lamongan dan MTs Maslakul Huda Paciran yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru sains di sekolah Islam memanfaatkan ragam media pembelajaran dalam bentuk media visual dan audio visual yang didesain sebagai media pembelajaran sains, misal LCD proyektor, alat peraga, dll. Selain itu, guru juga mengembangkan media sederhana sendiri yang didesain untuk dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran sains, misalnya kain, air, tanah, dan lain sebagainya. Secara teknis, guru mendokumentasikan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran tersebut dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang mengacu format Kurikulum 2013, namun RPP tersebut tidak selalu dibawa saat proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, kebijakan sekolah tidak memberikan regulasi secara tertulis untuk guru melakukan pemanfaatan media dalam proses pembelajaran.  Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan media, pembelajaran sains

Media in learning process is very intact because it will be supported from  the learning to be more easily exposed. Many experts say that with the media, it can help teachers and students in the learning process to be able and achieve the goals of the learning process. This research aimed it introducing and describing how the  preparation and utilization of the flash cards media are used by teachers in teaching English to young learners. This research was conducted at SDN Baros Mandiri 2 Cimahi. The method used in this research is the descriptive research in accordance with the case study that occurred. The source of the data was the English teacher and the subjects were the second grade students of SDN Baros Mandiri 2 Cimahi. Observation, interviews and documentation are the data collection techniques used in this research. The findings reveal that teachers use flash card media according to the material to be delivered to young learners. Based on the results of the research the flash card media can help facilitate teachers in the delivery of learning material, students are also more enthusiastic, excited and very happy to learn English and very influential in the teaching and learning process.  Keywords:  instructional media, utilization of instructional media, flash Card

ABSTRAKMasa pandemi covid 19 telah mengganggu proses belajar tatap muka di sekolah. Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) secara daring menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu peranan media agar siswa tidak jenuh dalam belajar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah menerapkan powtoon sebagai salah satu alternatif media dalam PJJ di SDN II Kedungdawa Kabupaten Cirebon. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan harapan guru termotivasi mengintegrasikan IT secara maksimal untuk membuat video pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar. Metode dalam kegiatan PKM terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu observasi, identifikasi masalah, solusi, dan evaluasi. Peserta dalam pengabdian ini sebanyak 28 siswa kelas VI. Hasil pemanfaatan media powtoon diantaranya meningkatkan motivasi siswa, pembelajaran tidak membosankan, dan materi lebih mudah dipahami. Selain itu adanya ketertarikan guru untuk dapat membuat media powtoon sendiri merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan PKM yang telah dilakukan. Oleh karena itu  sebagai rekomendasi tim akan merancang kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan powtoon yang menarik, variatif dan interaktif sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bagi guru di SDN II Kedungdawa Kabupaten Cirebon Kata kunci: powtoon; pembelajaran jarak jauh; media pembelajaran. ABSTRACTThe Covid 19 pandemic has disrupted the face-to-face learning process in schools. Distance learning is an alternative to overcome this problem. Therefore we need the role of the media so that students are not bored in learning. The purpose of this community service activity is to implement the powtoon as an alternative media in distance learning at SDN II Kedungdawa, Cirebon Regency. PKM activities are carried out with the hope that teachers are motivated to optimally integrate IT to make learning videos that can be used in the learning process. The method in PKM activities consists of 4 stages, namely observation, problem identification, solution, and evaluation. Participants in this activities were 28 students in grade sixth.The results of using powtoon media include increasing student motivation, learning is not boring, and the material is easier to understand. In addition, the teacher's interest in being able to make their own powtoon media is an indicator of the success of the PKM that has been carried out. Therefore, as a recommendation, the team will design training activities for making powtoon that are interesting, varied and interactive as an effort to improve the quality of learning for teachers at SDN II Kedungdawa, Cirebon. Keywords: powtoon; distance learning; material teaching.

Learning media is an important factor in improving the quality of learning. In connection with the use of media in the learning process, teaching staff need to be careful in the selection of media that will be used. This study aimed to describe the use of a medium of learning by students on field practice II in Al-Muhajirin Government Elementary School Banjarmasin. Data collected by observation. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the results of the study illustrated the ability of PPL student in utilizing instructional media included in either category that most or some 63.6% of the students can use the media in accordance with the general principles of the use of media.                                                                                                          Key Words: Media Learning, Practice Fields II
