Kinetic typography is widely applied to media such as Film Title,Television Program Title, presentation media, motion graphic media,and others. Motion design elements added to the kinetic typographydesign can strengthen the character of letters, strengthen themeaning of the message, give more emphasis and intonation, andadd aesthetic value. This article explores the analysis of the use ofkinetic typography in 6 (six) research samples of the winners of theAnimation Category of Indonesia Film Festival - FFI (2013 - 2018).The study was conducted referring to the temporal typographicclassification model developed by Barbara Brownie (2007). Wherein general kinetic typography is divided into two types, namely Typein Motion and Fluid Typography. Type in Motion itself is dividedinto Scrolling Typography and Dynamic Layout. The researchmethod used is descriptive qualitative. This research was identifyingand describing the use of kinetic typography types in the film title. Asa result, 2 (two) samples have not used kinetic typography optimally(F2 and F4), 2 (two) samples use Scrolling Typography (F1 and F3),1 (one) sample uses Fluid Typography (F5), and 1 (one) sample usesDynamic Layout (F6).

<strong>Abstract</strong><br />The Decorative Letters Application in Kinetic Typography. Typography is a design element that is very important and widely used in animation, which is known as kinetic typography, where the letters move and become the main visual element in conveying information. Decorative letters are now more diverse, some are easy to read, but many of them are difficult to read. The developing of decorative lettes will certainly affect the visual. The purpose of this study is to see the development of decorative letters<br />application in kinetic typography. This art-based research uses qualitative research method by analyze the decorative letters as design elements based on basic typographic theory. The result is a conclusion of the achievement of delivering information through the decorative letters, especially in kinetic typography and open to further study.<br />Hope that this research can enrich designer’s references in applying typography as an important and informative design element.<br /><div> </div><div> </div><strong>Abstrak</strong><br />Penggunaan Huruf Dekoratif dalam Tipografi Kinetis. Tipografi merupakan sebuah elemen desain yang sangat penting dan banyak digunakan dalam media animasi, yang dikenal dengan sebutan tipografi kinetis, di mana huruf-huruf tersebut bergerak dan menjadi elemen visual utama dalam menyampaikan sebuah informasi. Bentuk huruf dekoratif pun kini semakin beragam, ada yang mudah dibaca, namun tidak sedikit<br />yang sulit dibaca. Semakin banyaknya suguhan bentuk huruf dekoratif tentunya akan mempengaruhi desain visual yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan penggunaan huruf dekoratif pada tipografi kinetis. Penelitian berbasis seni ini menggunakan metode riset kualitatif, dengan menganalisis huruf dekoratif sebagai elemen desain berdasarkan teori dasar tipografi. Hasil dari<br />penelitian ini adalah berupa kesimpulan mengenai keberhasilan penyampaian informasi melalui huruf dekoratif, khususnya dalam karya tipografi kinetis dan terbuka untuk penelitian lebih lanjut. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya referensi para desainer dalam menggunakan tipografi sebagai elemen desain yang penting dan<br />informatif.<br /><br />

Posters for cinematic festivals are an effective visual artistic way to address recipients (the audience), with their functional, aesthetic and expressive dimensions that contribute to spreading a variety of cultural awareness, especially those posters that specialize in their media and advertising performance, promotional and organizational, and cultural activities specified at certain time. Based on the foregoing, the researchers found that her research problem is summarized by the following question: What are the design structure variables in the designs of the film festival posters? The research consisted of four chapters as follows: The first chapter includes the research problem and the goal of the research, which is studying the variables of the design structure in the international film festival posters. As for its importance (theoretical importance / practical importance), the research limits (objective / spatial / temporal) and also include the most important terms. The second chapter includes the theoretical framework that the researcher divide into two topics, the first topic includes (the structure in the poster). As for the second topic (the variables in the poster structure) as well as previous studies and the most important indicators reached by the researcher, the third chapter includes research procedures that includes determining the method followed in analyzing samples for their scientific relevance in diagnosing the researched phenomenon, and the research community and the adult (6), and selecting a sample The research number (3) models after repeated exclusion from them, then the research tool, honesty and consistency. As for the fourth chapter, it includes the results of the research, conclusions, recommendations, and proposals, and the most important findings of the researcher were as follows: 1. The employment of the idea resulted in a fundamental variable in the structure of the poster, as the ideas differ according to the subject presented, in addition to the different idea from one designer to another. This is due to its frame of reference, which has a major impact in building the innovative idea that contributes to the presentation of the content. 2. Modern technologies have achieved the emergence of effective results in the design structure as an output variable that enhances the effectiveness of communication channels, and that this action has influential characteristics that have the ability to attract attention and direct impact on the recipient through the various technical treatments that the designer performs in constructing the poster and activating the role of technology in the structural display of the poster design elements. Either conclusion includes: 1. Structure variables are mainly related to the content of the design idea with the suitability of use, which is based on variable technical stylistic data.

Salah satu cara tetap mempertahankan aspek ekonomi di perindustrian Batam di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yaitu dengan tetap membiarkan karyawan bekerja dengan salah satu cara yaitu WFH (Work From Home). Akan tetapi, hal tersebut tidak bisa serta merta dilakukan karna akan ber-efek pada perusahaan yang tidak dapat melakukan protokol tersebut.  Maka demi tetap menjalankan perusahaan guna membantu krisis ekonomi yang terjadi, PT. Uni Metaltech Industry masih harus tetap beroperasi. Hal ini tentu dapat menimbulkan masalah baru, jika karyawan di biarkan bertindak seperti biasa tanpa adanya protokol pencegahan. Maka untuk itu perlu penerapan protokol pencegahan yang baik dan efektif. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan sebuah penelitian berupa pembuatan produk motion graphic sebagai media edukasi protokol pencegahan COVID-19 di PT. Uni Metaltech Industry dan dilakukan analisis setelahnya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan metode penyelesaian Villamil-Molina (Development, Preproduction, Production, Post Production, Delivery). Hasil uji produk yang telah dibuat kepada ahli mendapat skor skala likert 3.76 “Layak” lalu diuji efektivitas dengan EPIC Model kepada 30 koresponden karyawan PT. Uni Metaltech Industry yang mendapatkan hasil EPIC Rate 4.37 “Sangat Efektif” dengan nilai rincian (Empathy: 4.38, Persuation: 4.34, Impact: 4.38, Communication: 4.38) dan hasil kuesioner terhadap pengujian teknik kinetic  menunjukkan hasil akhir “Sangat Efektif”

Gibbs, Edward. I Spy with My Little Eye. Somerville, Mass: Templar Books/Candlewick Press, 2011. Print. I Spy is a superbly illustrated book that helps young readers learn about animals and colours using the popular game. Each animal is introduced through a cutout that reveals a small section of the creature, along with a clue. For example:  “I spy with my little eye…something that is blue…I am the biggest animal in the whole world,” to which the answer is a whale.  Turning the page reveals a striking two-page image of the animal. Each animal is drawn from a monochromatic colour palette: the polar bear is mostly white with some grey and cool blue tones while the fox is fiery red and orange. Each of these watercolour images is accentuated with wild black slashes and curlicues to define the animal’s features. The last page features the silhouettes of the seven featured animals and a cutout right through the back of the book with the caption: “What can you spy with your little eye?” The large font and images coupled with the “I spy” formula is sure to entice children. Additionally, clever design elements and the overall aesthetic value of the book will encourage parents and teachers to add it to their collections. For example, the back and front cover open to form the face of a frog. When the book is closed, the cutout through the back rests against the page featuring the seven animal silhouettes. The black silhouette of the whale’s tale in front of a yellow moon is framed within the circular cutout thus creating the frog’s eye on the back cover. According to the Candlewick Press website, Edward Gibb has worked in the creative design business for over 25 years, and this is his first effort as a children’s author/illustrator. This book is recommended for children aged 2-5yrs, and I am eagerly awaiting Gibbs’ next publication. The moving image has evolved into a very common medium used in both narrative and non-narrative way, exhibited in a film festival or art exhibition. Narrative film nowadays distributed digitally and can be exhibited in both the big screen and small screen (such as mobile phone, laptop screen, mini projector) without possibly losing any storytelling value. While non-narrative film/video mostly exhibited in a special treatment to enrich the main message. The small screen was commonly used to present this medium in an art exhibition. Art manager has a responsibility to curate and presents the intermedia works in order to reach either aesthetic value or financial value. There is a myth that intermedia art isn't a profitable collectible item, so when an artist uses the medium it was considered an artwork made for fun.  In this research, the writer will analyze small screen exhibition on one of the largest contemporary art exhibition in Yogyakarta, ARTJOG. The research method used was qualitative with literature, archive, and interview approach. Hopefully, this research will be a good discourse between moving image and fine art.

Animation is a static image that is displayed sequentially so that the image becomes a moving image. Apart from being an entertainment, animation has also become a guide, an inspiration, as well as a means of socializing. Along with the development of technology, there are many techniques for making animation. These techniques aim to improve the quality of the image, as well as the animation movement itself. There is a lack of awareness to maintain health in society today. Many people do not understand the importance of maintaining health to stay healthy. Recently, there has been an unclear paradigm towards the transmission of the Covid -19 virus. The spread of a virus that is very mobile, will definitely have a bad impact. This is exacerbated by the state of unclear issues, where there is a lack of socialization of the preventive action of the Covid-19 virus, especially in Indonesia. Based on these things, in this study a socialization video was made about preventing the spread of the Covid -19 virus, based on 2-dimensional animation using kinetic typography techniques. So, the final result of this research is in the form of an animated video as a 2-dimensional based socialization media regarding the prevention of transmission of the Covid -19 virus to the public visually in the form of an animated video.

The action of thinking, which is human-specific, forms the basis of art since yesterday. The individual and the communities not only relieve their vital activities, but also produce products that carry aesthetic value by utilizing the power of sensory and intellectual expression, and use them, keep them, transfer them to future generations, and they are the result of their spiritual meaning beyond their existing constitution. Analyzing the art works, movements, periods and artists in relation to different disciplines such as history, sociology, philosophy, mythology, explaining the concepts of art are some of the purposes of writing the art books. In this study, the current cover designs of books related to the history of art in Turkish literature, will be examined descriptively in accordance with the visual design elements. The pedestrian pathway can interact socially between communities. A pedestrian should be able to ensure safety and comfort as well as aesthetic value for pedestrians. The pedestrian pathway is crucial in urban design elements, especially in areas with high activity levels. As in Taman Setia Budi Indah Football Field, the existing pedestrian path is not able to accommodate its users. Both of the pedestrian materials and pedestrian supporting elements do not meet the elements of comfort and security and aesthetic value. The researcher tries to find modeling of a pedestrian path in that area which fulfills the element of comfort, safe and aesthetic value. The research method used is a qualitative method of observation. The method is analyzed based on theoretical analysis based on the comparison of the variable that has been determined. Through the theoretical analysis found several criteria pedestrian that meets the elements of comfort. The results of the analysis are then made modeling pedestrian paths around the Football Field in Taman Setia Budi Indah in the form of additional pedestrian width and other supporting elements such as seating, lighting, bins etc. to improve the safety and comfort for the walkers and utilization of river potentials in the area such as the attraction when walking.

Medicine Park Herbalia or Toba Puskesmas (Public Health Center) designed in their yards with the goal as a liaison between the human and the natural environment created to meet the spiritual needs (a beautiful atmosphere, secure, peaceful, relaxed, passive recreation, as a means of social and education) and physical needs (as ingredients, versatile, active recreation) for the occupants of Public Health Center or the owner of Toba. Toba can be said to succeed if the owner liked toba extent of the function and aesthetic value in accordance with the principles of design (theme, gradation, contrast, control) which is expressed in design elements (size, shape, texture, color).
