Islamic education based on local wisdom is an important component in the world of education today because humans not only need knowledge but also spiritual strength in a personality full of wisdom, good value, embedded and followed by community members which is then reflected in words, deeds, and feelings related to God, self, fellow humans. Education can be obtained from anywhere. One of them is through quality and quality literary works, namely the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. This study aims to determine the values ​​of Islamic education based on local wisdom in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. This research is a type of library research research with a library approach. The primary data source is the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari and other related sources. The data collection method used documentary studies with content analysis techniques. The results of the study concluded that the values ​​of Islamic education based on local wisdom contained in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari were the value of aqidah / faith education, the value of worship education, the value of moral education and the value of social education.

<p><em>Abstrak </em><strong>- </strong><strong>Aguk Irawan adalah salah satu sastrawan yang menggunakan sastra novel sebagai media dakwahnya. Penanaman pesan-pesan moral-spiritual penulis kepada pembaca melalui tokoh yang dihidupkan di dalamnya. Peneliti tertarik dengan salah satu karya beliau untuk diteliti yang kemudian terangkum dengan judul, “Maqamat Tokoh Midah dalam Novel <em>Mekkah: Memoar Luka Seorang TKW</em> Karya Aguk Irawan”. Novel yang terinspirasi dari kisah nyata ini menggambarkan tentang pengembaraan jiwa seorang perempuan dalam menemukan Tuhannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode <em>library research</em> atau penelitian kepustakaan. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer yaitu novel <em>Mekkah: Memoar Luka Seorang TKW</em>, sedangkan sumber data sekundernya adalah beberapa karya Aguk Irawan yang lain dan juga sumber referensi yang terkait dengan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang telah peneliti lakukan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa novel <em>Mekkah: Memoar Luka Seorang TKW</em> merupakan novel yang mengandung ajaran tasawuf. Aguk Irawan menyampaikan ajaran tasawufnya melalui tokoh Midah Hamidah yang terangkum dalam laku kehidupannya sehari - hari. Peneliti menemukan beberapa maqamat yang tergambar dari tokoh Midah Hamidah, diantaranya adalah: taubat, zuhud, sabar, syukur, dan ridha. Novel karya Aguk Irawan ini sangat berguna untuk digunakan sebagai media dakwah di kalangan remaja maupun masyarakat pada umumnya.</strong></p><p><em>Abstract -</em><strong> </strong><strong>Aguk Irawan is one of the writers who used novel literature as his propaganda media. Planting the writer's moral-spiritual messages to the reader through the characters who are turned on in them. Researchers are interested in one of his works for research which is then summarized with the title, "<em>Maqamat Tokoh Midah dalam Novel Mekkah: Memoar Luka Seorang TKW Karya Aguk Irawan</em>”. This novel, inspired by a true story, depicts the wandering of a woman's soul in finding her God. This research uses library research or library research. The source of the data used is the primary data source, namely the Mecca novel: Memoirs of Luka of a TKW, while the secondary data source is some of Aguk Irawan's other works and also a reference source related to research. Based on the results of the analysis that researchers have done, it can be concluded that the novel <em>Mecca: Memoirs of Luka of a TKW</em> is a novel that contains the teachings of Sufism. Aguk Irawan conveyed his Sufism teachings through the figure of Midah Hamidah summarized in his daily life. Researchers found several maqamat drawn from the Midah Hamidah figures, including repentance, zuhud, patience, gratitude, and pleasure. This novel by Aguk Irawan is very useful to be used as a media for da'wah among teenagers and the general public.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords -</em></strong><em> Literary works, Novels, Maqamat, Spirituality, Hermeneutics</em></p><p> </p>

Duties and responsibilities of teachers are not limited in society, even teachers included in this case are essentially strategic components that have an important role and responsibility in determining the progress of the nation's life and become the foundation of expectations of children's parents to make their children good children (anaks haleh) who know how to carry out their religious obligations and have a noble character (akhlak al-karimah). This study aims to determine; What are the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Hasan Langgulung's Thought ?. What are the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Buya Hamka's Thought ?. What is the relevance of Hasan Langgulung and Buya Hamka's thoughts on the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education ?. This research is a library research that uses various sources of literature as a source of research data. Primary data sources are the book Hamka Institution of Life and Budi and Hasan Langgulung Man and Education, An Analysis of Psychology, Philosophy and Education. While secondary data sources in research are books, articles, magazines, newspapers, or other sources, which are then drawn from these data. Based on the results of the processed data, it can be seen that the responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Buya Hamka's thinking based on the explanation above, then the responsibility of educators namely educating: a). Faith Education; b). Moral education (morals); c). Physical education (physical and spiritual); d). Community social education; e). Intellectual education. While the Responsibility of Teachers in Islamic Education according to Hasan Langgulung's Thought covers at least 7 things, namely: a). Religious education which includes religious education, aqeedah and worship; b). Moral education (morals); c). Physical education which includes physical education and health; d). Psychological education consisting of psychiatric education and feelings; e). Community social education; f). Intellectual education. The relevance of the thoughts of Buya Hamka and Hasan Langgulung about the Responsibilities of Teachers in Islamic Education can be seen that Education basically revolves around science, charity, morals, and justice. All three are concepts that must be interconnected in the education process. Education for humans is not only to fulfill internal interests as dynamic creatures, but also external interests, namely the orderly and harmonious organization of human civilization.

AbstractThis study aims at explaining the symbols used in the novel and describing the values of optimistic of life reflected in the symbols used in Coelho’s The Alchemist. This research is classified as a descriptive qualitative method. The primary data source of this study is the novel The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. The collecting data process is a note-taking technique. This study is also categorized as library research. Based on the findings and discussion, the researcher draws the conclusion such follows. First, there are six elements or values which characterize someone as the one who has an optimistic view of life and these ones are reflected as the symbols used in this novel. They are the values of hope, faith, power, struggle, positive-thinking, and respect. Second, that there are twelve symbols used in The Alchemist, those symbols are divided into three groups which consist of four symbols of characters, two symbols of events or concepts and six symbols of things. The result of the study shows that the twelve symbols in The Alchemist are how the author addresses Optimistic through a story of self-quest of the author. According to the whole finding, the symbols lead the readers to understand the message of Paulo Coelho that everybody can find their happiness in themselves.  Keywords: Concept of optimistic of life, Symbol, Self-quest. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan simbol-simbol yang digunakan dalam novel dan menggambarkan nilai-nilai optimistis kehidupan yang tercermin dalam simbol-simbol yang digunakan dalam Coelho's The Alchemist. Penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer dari penelitian ini adalah novel The Alchemist karya Paulo Coelho. Proses pengumpulan data adalah teknik mencatat. Penelitian ini juga termasuk penelitian kepustakaan. Berdasarkan temuan dan diskusi, peneliti menarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut. Pertama, ada enam elemen atau nilai-nilai yang mencirikan seseorang sebagai orang yang memiliki pandangan hidup yang optimis dan yang tercermin sebagai simbol yang digunakan dalam novel ini. Mereka adalah nilai-nilai harapan, iman, kekuatan, perjuangan, pemikiran positif, dan rasa hormat. Kedua, bahwa ada dua belas simbol yang digunakan dalam The Alchemist, simbol-simbol itu dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok yang terdiri dari empat simbol karakter, dua simbol peristiwa atau konsep dan enam simbol benda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua belas simbol dalam The Alchemist adalah bagaimana penulis membahas Optimistic melalui kisah pencarian diri penulis. Menurut seluruh temuan itu, simbol-simbol itu mengarahkan para pembaca untuk memahami pesan Paulo Coelho bahwa setiap orang dapat menemukan kebahagiaan mereka dalam diri mereka sendiri. Kata kunci: Konsep optimistis kehidupan, Simbol, Self-quest.

The purpose of this research is 1) the value of tawheed in education according to Muhammad Abduh; 2) the value of tawheed in education according to Rasyid Ridha; 3) the equation and difference in the value of monotheism in Islamic education according to Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha. The research method used is library research research (library research). The primary data source in this study is the Book of Tafsir al Manar by explaining the thought of learning Tawheed from two influential figures, while the secondary data in this study are books, journals, papers, articles or other sources that do not discuss directly but still have something to do with this research. The findings of this study, according to the two figures, that thinking rationally in achieving a misfortune must be adjusted to the current situation so that new interpretations by opening the door of ijtihad, instilling noble morals, clean souls, accompanied by high education can make faith stronger, form The mindset of a child who gives birth to positive behavior while at the same time realizing a pious person who will achieve happiness in the afterlife, this will form a person who has a balanced mental structure that not only emphasizes the development of reason but also spiritual development so that signs of the greatness and oneness of God materialized and integrated.

This study aims to describe the book of Sahih Bukhari and the background of the codification phase of Hadith. This research uses qualitative research methods based on library research (Library Research). Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data sources and secondary data sources. The primary data source in this study is the Sahih Bukhari book written by Imam al-Bukhari, while the secondary data sources are books and journal articles related to the codification phase of hadith. Data analysis used content analysis techniques, namely by deepening the meaning in the literature quotations used. The results showed that the Sahih Bukhari book was the first book compiled containing the Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad. This book was written in a period of approximately 16 years through a very strict screening process from 600,000 Hadith which resulted in 7,397 Hadiths contained in the book. With regard to the book, the birth of the Hadith codification movement during the era of Imam Bukhari was the dynamics of Islamic law, particularly the influence of Imam Syafi'i. In the period before Imam Syafi'i formulated a system of law making as contained in the ar-Risalah.

This research is classified as a descriptive qualitative method. The primary data source of this study is the novel The Old Man and the sea by Ernest Hemingway. The collecting data process is note-taking technique. This study is also categorized as library research. Based on the findings and discussion, the researcher draws the conclusion such follow. First, it is found that there are eight symbols used in this novel. They are classified into Individual symbol and Universal symbol. In the novel the Old Man and the Sea the symbols which the researcher considers as individual symbols. Individual symbols are the old man as a symbol of someone who has optimistic, Manolin as a symbol of hope, Marlin as a symbol Struggle of life, Shark as a symbol of Destruction and problem, joe Di Maggio as a symbol Strong desire, bird as a symbol of help. The second category is Universal symbol. universal symbol are Sea as symbol of universe, Lion as symbol of strength. there are two elements or values which characterize someone as the one who has optimistic life which is reflected in the symbols used in this novel. Yanti, N. R. and Fanani, Abu (2020). Institutional Racism in Angie Thomas’ The Hate U Give. Keywords: racism, institutional racism, African American literary criticism.                           This article tries to analyze a novel written by Angie Thomas entitled The Hate U Give and focuses on the main character named Starr Carter. The purpose of this article is to know racism that occurs in the novel and the way Starr has to deal with it.             The method used in this study is qualitative research or library research, it means the data are concerned with texts, written words, phrases or symbols. Primary data source of this research is taken from the novel while secondary data sources are taken from articles, journals, websites, and books that relate with this analysis. The collected data are analyzed by applying institutional racism theory in African American literary criticism.               As the result of the analysis it is found that there are three parts of institutional racism portrayed in this novel, those are ignorance toward Black Panthers’ Ten-Point Program, the shooting in license checking, and physical punishment in police patrol.

The fasalatan book is a form of Kiai Asnawi's concern for Muslims, especially for early childhood, in the context of forming a Muslim personality who always obeys and worships Allah, especially in terms of prayer. This study aims to reveal the contents of the book Fasalatan in the perspective of worship education for early childhood. This research is a library research with data collection methods through interviews and documentation and an interpretive descriptive approach. The primary data source is the book of Fasalatan, the secondary is related works. According to Kiai Asnawi, religious education in the form of prayer is important for children. He reminded the Muslims and their children to always pray five times a day because without doing the five prayers the Muslims and their children would suffer losses.

The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning of the concept of moral education according to KH. Hayim Ash'ari in the book Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'alim and its relevance to education today. This type of research is library research with deductive and inductive methods with the data collection tool is documentation and the data source consists of primary data, namely the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'alim by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and secondary data from other references. The results of the research and discussion, it is concluded that: Based on the discussion and analysis above, the researcher concludes that the concept of moral education in KH. Hasyim Asy'ari contained in the book Adab al'Alim wa al-Muta'allim includes moral education for education and students. Moral values ​​emphasize the arrangement of the heart. These values ​​are more religious in nature, with strong Sufism nuances, and the basis is that every behavior is designed to approach and seek blessings from Allah SWT. Such as: straightening intentions, wara behavior, qonaah behavior, good use of time, being ta'dzim, tawadhu (humble), patient, establishing good cooperation, being istiqomah, likes to read, istiqomah (consistent), maintaining relationships, expanding knowledge , adab in asking questions, has the nature of affection, active, and diligent, polite to the teacher. KH. Hasyim Asy'ari in the book Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim on moral education related to education in Indonesia KH. Hasyim Asya'ari in Adab al-Alim wa al Muta'allim Moral values ​​in the book prove this and can still be applied today, and can support the government initiated by the following institutions to strengthen moral education or character although the percentage in question is more religious, because the concept of moral education KH. This study aims to determine the values of tolerance contained in Surah Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the Interpretation of Tafsir Al-Munir by Wahbah Zuhaili and how relevant it is to the objectives of Islamic education. This research is library research with primary data source Tafsir Al-Munir's Aqidah wa al-Syari'ah wa al-Manhaj'. Data analysis using content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the religious tolerance values contained four aspects, namely the value of Humanity, plurality, the harmony of life and egalitarian / equality. The relevance of the objectives of Islamic education is to realize students who have the ability to control themselves, are able to maintain peace and harmony in internal and interfaith relations, have a noble personality, and have a commitment to practice their knowledge and skills for the benefit of themselves, society, and the nation-state. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai toleransi beragama yang terkandung dalam Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 didalam Tafsir Al-Munir Karya Wahbah Zuhaili dan bagaimana relevansinya terhadap tujuan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan sumber data primer kitab Tafsir Al-Munir fil Aqidah wa al-Syari’ah wa al-Manhaj karya Prof. Wahbah Musthofa Al-Zuhaili. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai toleransi yang terkandung dalam Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 meliputi empat aspek, yaitu nilai Kemanusiaan, pluralitas, keharmonisan Hidup dan egaliter/kesetaraan. Adapun relevansinya terhadap tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah mewujudkan peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan mengendalikan diri, mampu menjaga perdamaian dan kerukunan memiliki kepribadian yang mulia, serta memiliki komitmen mengamalkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya bagi kepentingan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.
