Dental hygiene in children is an important factor that should be considered as early as possible, because tooth decay that occurs at the age of children, can affect the growth of teeth at the next age.The purpose of this research is to know the description of student's behavior about dental health at SD Negeri 005Gunung Malelo Koto Kampar Hulu Year 2017. The population in this study are students of Class IV and V which amounted to 78 people. The sampling technique used in this study is total sampling with a sample size of 78 people. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and then processed withediting, coding, data entry, tabulating, cleaning and then analyzed by univariate analysis. The result of the research shows that the students' knowledge about dental health mostly have enough knowledge of 35 people (44,9%), student attitude about dental health majority have positive attitude as much 40 people(51,3%), and student's action about majority dental health ever As many as 52 people (66.7%). It is expected that the State Elementary School 005 Gunung Malelo Koto Kampar Hulu in order to continue the socialization and continuous health education to the students about dental health.

Dental and oral disease are still become health problem in Indonesia. Dental and oral diseases greatly affect the degree of health, growth process and even the future of children. Data about dental diseases on Indonesian children, indicates that condition is already at worried stage. Research of effective health education about dental hygiene to toddler children needed. This study aim is to determine the influence of DHE against knowledge of dental hygiene on Grade V students in SDN Padangdangan 1. The method of this study was quasi experiment, use Pretest- Postest Control design. This study was conducted in SDN Padandangan 1 with total population was all of Grade V students in SDN Padandangan 1. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling with number of respondents was 32 divided by two groups, there were control group and implementation group. The data collected by using questionnaires. The result of this study shows that before DHE applicated to implementation group, students have less knowledge, that was 9 students (56,2%) and after DHE applicated, value of students’ knowledge was increase, that was 16 students (50,0%). The result of Willcoxon Sign Rank Test detired P = 0,005 (p<α), administering DHE through good and correct teeth rushing demonstration to Grade V students can increase the value of students’ knowledge. Dental health education is the right way to brush your teeth by using an interesting tool, such as phantom mannequin that can make attention from educator. Direct practice echnique is also involves many senses so the material from educator was more touches long erm memory.

Background: Dental and oral health is one part that can not be separated from overall body health. Dental and oral care as a whole begins with dental and oral hygiene for each individual. Teaching methods of brushing teeth for children need to be given examples of a good model and with the simplest technique possible.Objectives: The research aims to increase the knowledge of SDN 33 Banda Aceh City students in maintaining dental and oral health and improve the dental and oral hygiene status of SDN 33 Banda Aceh City students.Method:  The research using a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, with the target of Class V students of SDN 33 Banda Aceh City Banda Aceh City totaling 30 children. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. The interventions provided were in the form of Dental Health Education (DHE).Results: The results of these community service activities show there is an increase in students' knowledge in the maintenance of dental and oral hygiene in SDN 33 Banda Aceh City students, with an increase before the intervention (pre-test) is in the sufficient category (56.7%) and after the intervention (post test) in the good category (96.7%). There was an increase in the status of dental and oral hygiene of students, with an increase before the intervention (pre-test) was in the bad category (100%) and after the intervention (post test) was in the good category (100%).Conclusion: It is recommended that schools provide regular counseling to students about the importance of maintaining oral health and holding joint toothbrushes to improve oral and dental hygiene.

Introduction. Pregnancy has an important effect on personal hygiene. Pregnant women are very susceptible to disease. Health and dental hygiene conditions, vaginal hygiene, nail hygiene, and hair hygiene in poor pregnant women can have an impact such as preterm birth, and babies with low birth weight (LBW). The purpose of this research is to find out the level of knowledge of mothers based on parity, age, education, work, and income. Method. This study is descriptive and the population taken as many as 29 pregnant women. Data retrieval is done by NonProbability Sampling technique with the Total Sampling method and carried out by means of direct interviews with respondents assisted with questionnaires.Elisabteh Health Journal : Jurnal Kesehatan, Vol. V No. 01 (Juni,2020) : V-01 E-ISSN 2541-4992Result. Data analysis is performed by univariate analysis. The results of the study of the knowledge of pregnant women on personal hygiene during pregnancy atRomauli Clinic 2019 found that most of the knowledge are 18 people (72%), based on parity, 14 primiparas (56%), based on age, respondents aged 20 -35 years are 23 people (92%), based on senior high school education are 17 people (68%), based on work, respondents were in housewives are 14 people (56%), based on income, there are respondents average in income Rp. 1,500,000 - Rp 2,500,000 for 12 people (48%). Discussion. From the results of the data above the authors conclude that the knowledge of pregnant women at Romauli Clinic has sufficient knowledge about personal hygiene during pregnancy. It is expected that pregnant women can maintain personal hygiene during pregnancy to prevent complications from pregnancy.

Patient safety is important and can be facilitated by improving the work climate for nurses. This study aims to describe the work climate of nurses and its impact on the application of patient safety at Sartika Asih Hospital, Bandung. The design of this study was descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this research is 84 nurses, and a simple random sampling technique was used to select 69 people. Data collection used the NWork Climate questionnaire by Suyanto with 36 statements. The univariate analysis used indicates that 56.5% respondents felt the work climate was not good, while 43.5%) felt it was good. According to Muadi (2019) work climate is a tool of environmental characteristics. Perceived directly by employees and assumed to have the main power in influencing employee behavior, the work climate is partially created visthe collaboration between the nurse and manager. The working climate of nurses in the hospital is still not good, so the hospital needs to make policies to improve this, including the scheduling of regular meetings and plans to increase the knowledge of nurses.   Keywords: working climate; patient safety; nurse

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE:   Dental hygiene reflects the overall health and impacts the quality of life. The present study was designed to assess knowledge, attitude, and practices regarding oral hygiene among medical and dental undergraduate students and to compare the oral hygiene habits among male and female students METHODOLOGY: A cross-sectional study was conducted among medical and dental students of Bahria University Medical and Dental College, Karachi (BUMDC) from December 2018 to January 2019. Ethical approval was taken from the ERC committee of Bahria University Medical and Dental College (ERC/2/2018). Students (n= 332) of MBBS and BDS from first to final year were enrolled by non-probability convenience sampling technique. A self-structured questionnaire  was used to obtain data.  Percentages were determined for each response. The Chi-Square test was used to check the association of oral hygiene outcomes with respect to gender. RESULTS: The study comprised 332 male and female students, out of which 189 (56.9%) were dental and 143(43.1%) were medical. The majority of students (71.4%) were female. The mean age of participants was 20.8± 1.3 years, 44.6% used toothbrushes, 33.7% used toothbrush and floss, and 21.4% used toothbrush and miswak, 61.4% of respondents have brushed their teeth twice a day, 5.1% of respondents were reported bad smell from their teeth, 58.1% were complaining sore jaws. Dental hygiene was significantly associated with gender (p≤ 0.05). Females have better practices and a positive attitude toward oral hygiene. CONCLUSION: Female students had better oral hygiene knowledge and practices with more positive attitude as compared to male counterparts.

Communication in dental hygiene is the one that is consciously designed for patients’ recovery. In order to perform a good communication in dental hygiene, every nurse requires good knowledge and attitude. This is descriptive research with survey method which objective was to measure the patients’ satisfaction level at Dental Clinic of Dental Hygiene Department, Poltekkes Kemenkes RI (Polytehnic of Health, Minstry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia), Medan. The primary data were gained through questionnaires. The secondary data were obtained from the visit recording book of the patients at Dental Clinic of Dental Hygiene Department, Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Medan. The samples were 40 patients who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The result showed that 17 respondents (42,5%) were satisfied and 23 respondents (57,5%) were dissatisfied. It was concluded that the communication in dental hygiene is very essential. It is recommended that the quality of communication at the Dental Clinic of Dental Hygiene Department, Poltekkes Kemenkes RI Medan be improved , for example by developing students’ ability in communicating with patients and enhancing the adequate facilities in order that the optimal and good oral and dental health service can be achieved.

Healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle with attention to factors - certain factors that affect health, such as diet and exercise. The purpose of this research is to identify how the efforts of patients hypertension to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Methods this research uses descriptive design. The population in this research were all patients with hypertension in Poly UPTD Kesehatan Kecamatan Sukorejo Blitar total of 220 people, the number of samples in this study were 33 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by giving questionnaires. Time of data collection was conducted on 20 June 2013 to 02 July 2013. The results showed that for 57.6% (19 respondents) had a good effort, 39.4% (13 respondents) had enough attempts, and 3% (1 respondent) had less effort. Recommendations from this study are expected to continue to provide health services well and provide health education to the public about healthy lifestyle that should be done for patients with hypertension
