The possibilities and limitations of information-psychological campaigns to change perceptions and behavior of people in the situation of pandemic were considered in the article. The analysis of effectiveness of various tactics of psychological influence used in current conditions was carried out. Tactics based on activation of feelings of empathy and care about others showed the most efficiency. In addition, such tactics as appeals to fear, emphasis on sense of duty, reference to self-interest and personal gain were also successful. The following variables affected the effectiveness of the impact: the stage of the pandemic, socio-demographic and individual psychological characteristics of the people affected. Several groups of factors were identified as influencing the implementation of behavioral recommendations for protection against infection and shaping an adequate representation of the pandemic. This list included: stable individual psychological characteristics (personality traits, coping strategies, cognitive features, values), dynamic characteristics (emotional state and level of stress), and perception of the pandemic situation (risk assessment, threat experience, sense of control over the situation, etc.). Maintaining and tracking the dynamics of these factors were important for effective information campaigns. The possibilities of social networks as channels of informational and psychological impact were considered. The perspectives of monitoring social networks for assessment of people's psychological state and perception of risks to improve the effectiveness of communication during the epidemiological situation were outlined. The problem of distribution of false information as an inevitable phenomenon in a crisis, which had a negative impact on the emotional state and behavior of people, was considered.

The article describes the results of research that analyzed late pregnancy and features of the psychological and em otional state of women during pregnancy after 35 years. The causes and factors that provoke some psychological discomfort in women with late pregnancy have been identified. Comparative psychological characteristics of normal and late pregnancies are given. The results of the comparative analysis according to the age criterion allowed to establish that anxiety, frustration and neurosis in the studied women depend on age. The obtained results made it possible to identify the above factors as certain key signals that affect the level of affectivity. According to the results of the method “Self-assessment of mental states,” it is shown that the dominant psychological state in women with late pregnancy was anxiety (55.4%), and almost a third of the group showed frustration (29.3%), while aggression (8.4%) and rigidity (6.9%) were very little. The “polarization” of the indicators “aggression” and “anxiety” is emphasized. Because almost half of women with normal pregnancies tend to be aggressive, while more than half of women over the age of 35 tend to be anxious. Also, women with late pregnancy have a high level of neuroticism (73.8%). In women with late pregnancy in most cases (27.8%) consider pregnancy as a way to maintain a relationship and keep a man married. In 21.4% of respondents found a very low readiness for motherhood and a high degree of anxiety, pessimism. The obtained results made it possible to identify the above factors as certain key signals that affect the level of affectivity. Women with late pregnancies are under considerable pressure of affective moods, anxiety and frustration. Most of them have a high level of neuroticism, anxious type of gestational dominance, experience extensive mental stress. Also, this group is three times more likely to suffer from neurotic manifestations, as evidenced by appropriate screenings of neurosis. These results indicate the need for psychological impact on women with late pregnancy, which aims to reduce anxiety and frustration, harmonization of the psycho-emotional state in general.

Family is an important institution to build a person's personality, morality, value and attitude. When this institution communicates properly, it shows the impact e.g. a boy or a girl becomes social human being. Unfortunately in our family gender biasness is reinforced continuously by starting to behave differently with boys and girls from the childhood. Parents communicate with them in a different way which constructs the traits of “masculinity” and “femininity”. Girls are compelled to learn the feminine role with politeness, submissiveness and their mobility is restricted in public world. It is a family which trains a girl to be a good mother, wife, sister or daughter, on the other hand a boy learns to be social, intellectual, able to run the world and strong. This different formation of role and behavior results in the ongoing discrimination everywhere in the society. This reinforcement is sort of relief from social stigmatization but has overall negative impact on life and through this family can be counted as the main birthplace of discrimination against women. Girls and boys must be raised neutrally to eradicate the gender differences and ensure the equality.

Numerous researches in call centres indicate the negative psychological impact in the form of burnout experiences of the customer service representatives. The present study argues that burnout experiences do not always have a negative impact on the employee’s self-worth. The relationship is, instead, moderated by the impact of job-worth, which acts as a potential individual resource. The results of the present study conducted on 312 call centre representatives partially confirm our hypotheses. Results indicate that representatives who have high job-worth maintain their self-worth, even when emotionally exhausted. The results also show that employees possessing high job-worth, even with low personal accomplishments on their jobs, maintain their self-worth. We discuss the findings in the Indian call centre context from the perspective of self and identity literature and provide broader implications for practice and research.

When reading interesting content or searching for information on a website, the appearance of a pop-up advertisement in the middle of the screen is perceived as irritating by a recipient. Interrupted cognitive processes are considered unwanted by the user but desired by advertising providers. Diverting visual attention away from the main content is intended to focus the user on the appeared disruptive content. Is the attempt to reach the user by any means justified? In this study, we examined the impact of pop-up emotional content on user reactions. For this purpose, a cognitive experiment was designed where a text-reading task was interrupted by two types of affective pictures: positive and negative ones. To measure the changes in user reactions, an eye-tracker (for analysis of eye movements and changes in gaze points) and an iMotion Platform (for analysis of face muscles’ movements) were used. The results confirm the impact of the type of emotional content on users’ reactions during cognitive process interruptions and indicate that the negative impact of cognitive process interruptions on the user can be reduced. The negative content evoked lower cognitive load, narrower visual attention, and lower irritation compared to positive content. These results offer insight on how to provide more efficient Internet advertising.
