The spurt in the Information Technology in the recent past has been well complemented by the innovative research in communication technology. Tremendous growth in the Internet is the result of this. This chapter highlights how the Internet has evolved, over the years, since its inception. The major contributors of Internet Technology have also been pointed out in this chapter.

This chapter introduces adoption theory and applies it to examine the use of wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), which has the potential to expand virtual workplaces significantly. Research shows that the use of Wi-Fi to access the Internet is surprisingly low. As understanding users and their needs is a prerequisite for the success of any new information technology, this chapter identifies factors accounting for the low usage of Wi-Fi in organizations and seeks to build a model to increase Wi-Fi usage. Empirical research reported in this chapter shows that motivations of Wi-Fi use, mass media use, and technology cluster have impacted on the awareness of, interest in, and likelihood to use Wi-Fi. More important, a chain-effect process in the adoption of Wi-Fi was presented: the awareness of Wi-Fi, which was influenced mostly by reading newspapers, had a direct effect on interest in Wi-Fi, which directly affected the likelihood to use Wi-Fi. Thus, to increase Wi-Fi usage, the awareness of and interest in this newer Internet technology must be in place. The chapter also discusses future trends in Wi-Fi technology and how increased adoption of Wi-Fi enhances the virtual workplace.

Abstract: Information technology era requires speed and processing to obtain information. Users are required to quickly obtain and process information as needed. The use of the internet covers many fields of education but the use of the internet also covers the scope of business and transactions. Development of internet technology is widely used in business and sales transactions. Because the internet can create new entrepreneurs. Internet-based social media is an application service that is widely used as a means for the purpose of publishing a service or product. In the implementation of the service, the pre-test method was used which was given to the mothers of the village of RT 03 RW 01 by giving a questionnaire to measure their understanding of social media. Furthermore, given the delivery of material on understanding social media and the internet. The next method is carried out in practice to implement it. This will provide benefits in understanding social media and the internet for business ventures, both businesses that are established individually or in groups. Because social media can be used as a promotional media, see market developments, provide experiences for consumers and serve as social media for competitors. The results obtained from this service, the community / village mothers have business facilities, namely using the social media Facebook. Penggunaan internet mencangkup banyak bidang pendidikan tetapi penggunaan internet juga mencangkup lingkup bidang usaha dan transaksi.Perkembagan teknologi internet banyak digunakan dalam bidang usaha dan transaksi penjualan. Kerena internet bisa menciptakan para enterpreneur yang baru. Internet berbasis media sosial merupakan suatu layanan aplikasi yang banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana untuk tujuan mempublikasikan suatu jasa atau produk. Dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian digunakan metode pra test yang diberikan kepada ibu-ibu tiban kampung RT 03 RW 01 dengan memberikan koesioner untuk mengukur pemahaman tentang media social. Selanjutnya diberikan penyampaian materi tentang pemahaman media social dan internet. Metode selanjutnya di lakukan pelaksaan prakterk untuk mengimplemantasikannya.  Hal ini akan memberikan pemanfaatand dalam pemahaman media social dan internet  untuk usaha bisnis, baik usaha yang didirikan secara individual maupun kelompok. Karena media sosial dapat dijadikan suatu media promosi, melihat perkembangan pasar, memberikan pengalaman bagi konsumen dan sebagai media sosial kompetitor. Hasil yang didapat dari pengabdian ini, masyarakat/ibu-ibu tiban kampung mempunyai sarana usaha yaitu menggunakan media sosial facebook. Dengan media tersebut ibu-ibu tiban kampung dapat mempromosikan atau menjual produknya di sana. Kata kunci : media sosia; internet; transaksi

The information revolution has changed many aspects of our lives, They also included these changes in education. As the labor market needs now a day to new skills and qualifications led to impose of new trends and updated terms of reference in order to meet the need in the economy, Therefore, it is necessary to reconsider the curricula and teaching methods to keep up with the requirements of the new offering and use of modern technologies, Such as e-learning, which relies on the use of computers and its software using a closed network or shared networks or the Internet.      There have been recent extensive changes in the area of education, The labor market started through its needs for new skills and qualifications to impose trends and innovative specialties to meet the needs of the new economy, So the curriculum is the other subjected a revision to cope with modern requirements and available technologies, Such as e-learning, which relies on the Internet as well as the application of information and communication technologies in e-learning.      The current study raised questions research that: Can you assign electronic curriculum technology on the application of information and communication technology? And how can be merge the electronic curriculum with one of the applications of information technology and communications? In order to answer these research questions relied on the case study approach by the researchers trying to design electronic curriculum to the Department of Management Information Systems in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Mosul      After take the theoretical framework for the study about the concepts information and communication technology and e-learning and its importance and components, Researchers initiated steps to design electronic curriculum. The study found set of conclusions was in the forefront, The adoption of e-learning project requires attention of electronic curriculum technology, And implemented by any educational institution requires them to provide a strong infrastructure and appropriate for this type of education, represented in prepare trained manpower as well as the providing of physical supplies, the appropriate software and provide communication lines that helps to communicate and transfer information between all the relevant authorities. As well as develop of specialized training programs for students, teachers and administrators and sensitize them towards the use of e-learning to make the most of this technology. One of the important recommendations made ​​by the study is the need to keep up with modern developments in the adoption of applications of information and communication technology in order to support e-learning and its technologies in the university.

This article aims to discuss about the importance of Information Technology in overcoming the Covid-19 virus. Information technology will continue to grow in line with the fast number of internet users. Based on the data obtained, it reaches that there are 175.4 million internet users in Indonesia. Based on the results of qualitative analysis, by direct observation, it can be concluded that the internet has become a medium that provides information to the public about the dangers and prevention efforts of COVID 19. However, the weaknesses of information technology included that the difficulty of filtering correct or wrong information. So, the users must sort and respond to any information from internet technology. The public needs to be aware of the covid-19 virus outbreak which has spread to hundreds of countries in the world, including Indonesia. Therefore, information technology should reach remote villages. With regard to the health aspect, information technology should reach out to the health center units and integrated with urban hospitals.

Madura Island besides producing salt, it turns out that it is also the producer of the craft written batik. One of the regions that have batik-producing SMEs is in Tanjung Bumi Bangkalan Madura District. In Tanjung Bumi Subdistrict there are very many batik craftsmen with a distinctive bird motif. However, although there are many batik SMEs, there are also many craftsmen who close their businesses due to having several problems in their business. One of the problems is not having a good marketing concept and not being able to utilize information technology through the internet in marketing activities. This can be seen from the sales activities that still rely on shops and also just waiting for suppliers or buyers from outside the city such as from Surabaya. With the competition of batik sales outside the city, such as Surabaya, causing the number of buyers from Surabaya is currently decreasing. The decline finally drastically impacted the decline in sales of Tanjung Bumi written batik. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and insight into designing 4P marketing mix concepts (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and determining STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) and making SME partners begin to take advantage of internet technology for online advertising. The method used in this activity is to train to create marketing concepts and train the use of online media and social media to advertise. The result of this activity is that partners have the knowledge of designing marketing concepts and are able to innovate in marketing activities using information technology with the internet on social media

AbstrakKemajuan teknologi informasi berkembang secara pesat di berbagai bidang kehidupan. Internet adalah salah satu bagian dari teknologi informasi dan komunikasi  mempunyai efek dan pengaruh yang sangat besar. Website salah satu teknologi internet tidak hanya sebagai media informasi tetapi menjadi proses pendukung bisnis perusahaan, akan tetapi penjualan melalui website belum cukup efektif jika tidak didukung dengan strategi promosi yang baik. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) adalah salah satu teknik promosi dengan cara memanfaatkan pengoptimalan mesin pencari agar website yang sudah kita buat berada diperingkat teratas atau halaman pertama (first page) sebuah halaman mesin pencari. Peneltian ini dilakukan pada sebuah website yang awalnya belum dilakukan teknik-teknik dari SEO, kemudian dengan menerapkan metode SEO on Page seperti optimasi keyword pada title tag, content, meta keyword,meta description, dan  share ke sosial media, pada tahap ini juga dilakukan beberapa pengujian sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan penerapan teknik-teknik SEO. Hasil dari penerapan teknik-teknik SEO mampu meningkatkan SERP (Search Engine Results Page) website di mesin pencari dan berhasil terindek oleh google berada di page kedua pada bulan kedua dan berhasil terindex di page  pertama dalam pencarian google denga waktu kurang dari 3 bulan. Kata kunci : Website, SEO, Seo on Page, SERP AbstractThe advancement of information technology is growing rapidly in various fields of life. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a promotional technique by utilizing search engine optimization so that the website we have created is at the top or first page (first page) of a search engine page.This research was conducted on a website that has not been done techniques from SEO, then by applying the SEO on Page method such as keyword optimization on title tags, content, meta keywords, meta description, and sharing to social media, at this stage several tests are also carried out. as a benchmark for the successful application of SEO techniques.The results of the application of SEO techniques are able to increase the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) of websites in search engines and successfully indexed by Google on the second page in the second month and successfully indexed on the first page in google search with less than 3 months. Keywords: Website, SEO, Seo on Page, SERP

Abstrak Teknologi Informasi bisa di lakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya yaitu melalui internet yang bisa digunakan dimanapun dan kapanpun menggunakan jaringan internet. Pemerintah Kota Kediri melalui Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil mengeluarkan pelayanan administrasi kependudukan yang dikembangkan dengan berbasis Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan (SIAK), mengeluarkan program melalui media aplikasi online yaitu Sistem Administrasi Kependudukan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi (SAKTI). Kota Kediri memiliki fungsi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang berperan penting dalam masyarakat dan lebih strategis. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2013 tentang Pengelolaan Kependudukan. Pelayanan harus dilaksanakan dengan benar dan cepat agar masyarakat puas dengan pelayanan. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui Pelayanan Publik melalui Aplikasi Sistem Administrasi Kependudukan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi (SAKTI) di Kelurahan Semampir. Kata Kunci: Teknologi Informasi; Pelayanan Administrasi Kependudukan; Kepuasan Masyarakat. Abstract Information technology can be done in various ways, one of which is through the internet which can be used anywhere and anytime using the internet network. Accompanied by the development of information technology, communication technology has developed rapidly. One sector that is developing in the field of tourism which contributes to more interactive information through the internet. Where Maybrat Regency has considerable tourism and cultural potential, it is managed by the Maybrat Regency Tourism and Culture Community which is very useful if managed well and effectively. This is to improve the economy of the community, the quality of human resources, through tourism assistance that enables increased regional pride. Accurate presentation of the area that can be used to increase revenue in the region itself. Now there is not enough information about tourist objects in Maybrat Regency so that not many tourists and people know the potential of tourism objects. The system development model used is the prototype model. By building interfaces using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6. The database is stored using php and displayed via XAMMP. This system is also built on the framework of a system that is a code igniter.
