The article has dealt with the current trends of communication aspects of company’s relations with the customers. The emphasis is placed on the necessity to review the companies’ marketing strategies, in particular, due to communication constraints and the corresponding changes in the format of both direct and feedback with the customers. Restrictive measures have changed the format of competition, having created the conditions for its concentration in cyberspace. Changes in the nature of interpersonal communication predetermined by the limited personal activity and the introduction of remote forms of interaction, have generated demand for innovative ways of communication with customers. Other factors that require the adjustment of marketing strategies include the emergence of new behavioral capabilities of consumers associated with the intensive development of digital communication channels. It has been noted that in the digital communication environment, digital platforms provide the main format of communication with the existing customer base and potential customers. In addition, prompt acquisition and processing of data on purchasing behavior of customers allows companies to increase significantly the “sensitivity” of marketing research and optimize their own marketing decisions. Among the areas of increasing targeting and personalization of product offerings, the use of elements of artificial intelligence and voice search has been accentuated. Moreover, the use of artificial intelligence greatly facilitates and simplifies the work of marketers on the processing and initial analysis of the growing flow of digital marketing data, as well as provides greater efficiency. It has been concluded that widespread use of voice assistants in e-commerce requires companies to rethink radically their approaches to internal data processing, IT investment and customer engagement strategies. Active integration of chatbots into various communication platforms is able to make them universal tools for both business and consumers, which will allow them to become a familiar part of the user experience. Implementation of virtual reality and augmented reality elements in the interface of company websites can significantly diversify the process of collecting information by users and push them to unplanned purchases. It has been indicated that the growing standards of personalization and new rules of customer confidentiality will continue to require companies to be flexible and introduce new technologies in order to adapt permanently their business to new conditions. Focusing on building trust with customers based on digital communications will enable companies to create a long-term integrated marketing strategy and concentrate on the multi-channel nature of customer experience.

This study mainly focuses on the insights of a private school’s head pertaining to the use of digital media in educational marketing. The qualitative research paradigm was chosen for this study and in depth phenomenological interview was conducted from a head of a private school. Two themes were extracted from the data: Marketing educational services through digital media and its challenges, and digital media tool for marketing education services. The study revealed that the school head perceived the digital media to be cost-effective marketing strategy that was multidimensional and value-driven, but due to lack of awareness, skills, attitude, and sense of maturity among stakeholders, digital media was ignored and was not much used as a cost-effective marketing tool. Nevertheless, it is proposed that by hiring marketing personnel to promote services professionally, by aligning their strategies according to the demands of their customers, and by inviting customers’ voice on digital platforms, digital media can become a cost-effective and a valuable tool for mercerization of education.

Topicality. While digital revolution in every field and sector of economy, including marketing is fait accompli, a proper conceptualisation thereof is still far from being definitely provided. In this context the need for simultaneously more accurate and general understanding of marketing system development as well as for effective regulation of their growth and change is widely recognised. The situation with macromarketing in digital is much the same. Digital marketing in so far has mostly been scrutinised as a set of tools at the level of a firm. This article represents an attempt to shape it as a marketing system within service economy, the value in which is created by co-creation, and the theoretical basis is represented by the logic of service dominance (S-D logic). Aim and tasks. The article addresses the scope and tasks of digital marketing, considered from the point of view of the marketing system at the macro level. Research results. Based on the phenomena of datafication, digitalisation, virtualisation and generativity, as specific features of digital technologies the digital marketing macrosystem is shaped. On the basis of these treats, the vision of specific features of the scope of macromarketing in the digital space is proposed and developed, as well as the comparison of digital marketing as a micro- and a macrosystem is provided. Digital platforms for transactions, creation and access to new digital services, and related to them sharing economy research have been proposed as a central element to digital macromarketing. The concept might be used in further studies aimed at assessing the input of digital marketing onto economy as a whole, or the impact of digital media development on the development and growth of market environment, as well as to develop measures to regulate and stimulate digital marketing development and, through it, the development of the digital economy as a whole. Exploring the forms and conditions of its relationship with other marketing systems and other social subsystems, as well as determining the levels of the hierarchy in it and the interaction between levels, is a promising avenue for research. Some other areas of further research are also suggested. Conclusion. Digital marketing as a macrosystem should focus on the study of functional mechanisms that help expand marketing processes and systems, determine the relationship between value creation and acquisition models and the creation and growth of welfare at the level of the economy as a whole. Given the central place of digital research platforms for the conditions of their origin and functioning depending on socio-economic conditions and development on their basis of the economy of distribution and joint value creation can be an interesting area of further research.
