This study analyzes the natural and social factors influencing the emergence and publicization of the invasive status of a fast growing bush, gorse (Ulex europaeus), by comparison between countries on a global scale. We used documents collected on the web in a standardized way. The results show that in all the countries studied, there are several public statuses attributed to gorse. The invasive status is the one that is most shared. The other most frequently encountered status are those of noxious weed, and of economically useful. The invasive status is publicized in nearly all countries, including those where gorse is almost absent. We quantified the publicization of the invasive gorse status of gorse by an indicator with 5 levels, and then performed a multivariate analysis that combines natural and social explanatory variables. The results lead us to propose the concept of invasive niche: the set of natural and social parameters that allow a species to be considered invasive in a given socio-ecosystem.

Indonesian Islamic Da’wa Institution or Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) tends to embrace exclusivity and takfiri ideology. This article attempts to reveal the fiqh manhaj (method) that LDII employs and its influences on the legal decisions LDII takes by employing the library research method in descriptive qualitative type. The content analysis in tandem with document triangulation and structured interviews were applied to investigate the textual references LDII uses. The findings indicate that LDII employs a fiqh manhaj called manqul. This influences the law istinbath of LDII. Mandatory to remain in the congregation (jamaah), taking the oath of allegiance to the leader of the jamaah, the claim by the jamaah leader of the right to construct sharia law, license to lie, and takfiri are some controversial products of the manqul. With takfiri as the most dangerous product of the manqul, it befalls the government of Indonesia to watch over this jamaah.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of embeddedness and cooperation networks in the business internationalization process. To achieve the abovementioned purpose, a qualitative methodology was carefully chosen, through which semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten entrepreneurs of the footwear sector in Portugal, as well as with a head of the national footwear business association. In order to process the data obtained by conducting the interviews, content analysis and data coding through the NVivo software were performed. The results suggest that internationalization is essential for companies in the Portuguese footwear sector. In addition to internationalization helping companies to increase their turnover, it allows companies to grow in a more sustainable way. On the other hand, research also allows us to deduce that networks play an important role in the development of the organizations in question, as they facilitate access to various resources indispensable to this growth. Concerning embeddedness, this aspect presents itself as a facet to which special attention should be paid, considering the pre-eminence that respondents attribute to all variables that help to structure this dimension. The conclusions of this study have theoretical and practical implications, which provide empirical evidence of how the internationalization process can influence the activity of Portuguese companies in the footwear sector. In addition, the results contribute to the evolution of existing knowledge about how embeddedness and cooperation networks facilitate the internationalization process.

Keyword : Optimalization,Land,Highest and Best Use ABSTRAK Perkembangan bisnis properti di Kota Semarang sudah mulai meningkat secara signifikan sejak tahun 2010.

This article examines  the expansion and narrowing of meaning in the field of semanticsThe reasons that triggers this research  because the meaning in one period of time can change and most likely different at other times, this situation occurs because of the development of thinking of language users and cultural changes. From there emerged several phenomena such as the expansion and narrowing of meaning. This research is a qualitative research. As for the research method  used descriptive analysis and critical. The findings of the research  are: (1) The expansion of meaning is certainly closely related to language use. The language-speaking community in expanding the meaning contained in a word can use analogy or with self-help language itself. Expansion is often caused by social factors. A word that changes its usage from a limited circle into general usage sometimes will expand its meaning and lose some of its distinguishing elements, (2) The expansion of meaning is not only a booster in the development of semantics and method in the development of linguistic science, but on the other side it shows the weakness of a language, especially for common people, (3) The expansion of meaning is the result of the abortion of some the distinguishing features of a word, while the narrowing of meaning is the result of the addition of some the distinguishing features of a word, (4) Narrowing of meaning is found in the realm of scientific and artistic terms, in fact it’s closely related to the phenomena of homonym and polysemy.
