Improved Minimum Distance Discrimination Method Used in Image Analysis of Fabric Wear Resistance

With the increasing attention of textile, the wear resistance of the fabric is more and more important today. The wear resistance is judged by the sample and standard sample according to sensory contrast complete, but this approach has repeated poor consistency. The subjective factors of testers influence the result heavily. So the powerful image processing tools of MATLAB was used in the analysis of fabrics image processing. By image read, display and interception, image preprocessing, and feature extraction value, the eigenvalues of total area of the hair bulb, maximum area of the hair bulb, and hair bulb number were obtained. After the improved minimum distance discrimination method was used to determine the level of wear resistance by computer. Tests show that fabrics wear resistance level can be judged quickly, accurately and automatically.

The surface layer of steel was reinforced by electron-beam cladding at air atmosphere. Two types of powder mixtures were used to receive coatings: (1) titanium and graphite, (2) titanium and boron carbide. The formation of heterogeneous structure was observed in specimens after the electron-beam treatment by the methods of optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The X-ray diffraction analysis was used to analyze the phase composition of the coatings. The wear resistance level of the coatings was estimated by friction test against loosely fixed abrasive particles. It was found that surface alloying of steel with carbon containing components led to the formation of material with an enhanced wear resistance level.

The reliability of the brake disc is one of the main factors influencing running safety. This paper introduces the causes and harm of train brake disc crack, the application of digital image acquisition technology, and image processing function in MATLAB. We research a method of image preprocessing and subsequent processing by programming language, give effect drawing in each phase, and calculate the pixel size through effective extraction based on the crack characteristics. At last the condition of crack size and actual area is presented. The study can provide a reference for monitoring personnel replace the brake disc timely.

The error analysis of the on-line measurement system used in the processing parts of numerically-controlled machine is investigated, and the image processing technilogy is analyzed through the investigations on error source, error analysis and geometrical error analysis, in which, much consideraton is paid to the image treatment and the object margin extracting process conducted to the images segmented and disposed in terms of image preprocessing and segmentation. Therefore, such an investigation is of great importance to enhance the machining precision of parts.

Objective: To study the correlation between various risk factors and coronary CTA calcification score ( CACS ) in young and middle-aged male patients with coronary heart disease by multiple linear regression, and to predict plaque properties by Mahalanobis distance discrimination method. This study provides evidence for early clinical evaluation of the extent of coronary artery calcification and the property of plaque in patients having suffered coronary heart disease. Methods: choose 98 male patients under 55 years old with coronary heart disease randomly and collecte relevant medical history data and test results while in hospital.Utilizing the theory of multiple linear regression and Mahalanobis distance discriminant to analyse these dates. Results: Factors including hypertension classification×years, number of cigarettes smoked(packs / week )×years,and time of diabetes(years) have a positive correlation between CACS respectively. Comparing calcified plaque and vulnerable plaque, mixed plaque and vulnerable plaque,there is a significant differences ( p < 0.01) while hs-CRP and IL-6 are as the indicator. Mahalanobis distance discrimination method has a discrimination accuracy of 91.83 % for the group wrih susceptible factors only. Conclusion: The model of predicting the extent of coronary artery calcification by multiple linear regression has high reliability. Vulnerable plaques can be distinguished from plaques of other properties efficiently using Mahalanobis distance discrimination method.

Abstract Digital image processing technologies are used to extract and evaluate the cracks of heritage rock in this paper. Firstly, the image needs to go through a series of image preprocessing operations such as graying, enhancement, filtering and binaryzation to filter out a large part of the noise. Then, in order to achieve the requirements of accurately extracting the crack area, the image is again divided into the crack area and morphological filtering. After evaluation, the obtained fracture area can provide data support for the restoration and protection of heritage rock. In this paper, the cracks of heritage rock are extracted in three different locations.The results show that the three groups of rock fractures have different effects on the rocks, but they all need to be repaired to maintain the appearance of the heritage rock.

Image segmentation algorithm studied in this paper , image enhancement algorithms, can be very good to complete the project requirements. Because each method has its advantages and disadvantages , and therefore use different methods to get different results after image processing .

The cladding of titanium and graphite powders on the cp-titanium workpieces using the electron beam injected to the atmosphere provided the formation of the surface layers with a high content of high-strength carbide particles. The main structural components in cladded layers are α-Ti (αʹ-Ti), titanium carbide and graphite. Electron beam current is the main technological parameter defining a thickness of the hardened layer. An increasing beam current ranged from 20 to 23 mA leads to the cladded layer growth up to 2.9 mm. However, in this case a significant decrease of the microhardness level and the wear resistance level of the cladded layer is not observed. An average microhardess value of the hardened layer is of 430 HV. Under the conditions of friction against fixed abrasive particles, a wear resistance level of the cladded layers is by 32-45 % larger than that of cp-titanium.
