The simulation model for describing the transportation and transformation of landfill leachate pollutant in landfill, soil and underground water was established. Taking Wuhan Changshankou landfill for example, the numerical simulation was carried out. The simulation results showed that if there’s no any seepage control measure, the groundwater and soil under landfill will be polluted seriously after MSW was filled; the highest pollutant concetration in landfill was about 25000, and the one in groundwater and soil was about 20000; at the thirtieth year, the pollutant concetration in groundwater and soil still remained up to 10000 although the one in landfill was about 0. The simulation results also showed that the vertical stonewall can’t be used as a nature, and artificial seepage control system must be used.

A new kind of pressure coordinated control system suite of regenerative braking system for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) is proposed in this paper on the basis of appropriate transformation on traditional hydraulic braking system with ABS. AMEsim modular simulation platform is used to build a simulation model of the system. Dynamic performances of the key components and system are simulated and analyzed. And the simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the pressure coordinated control system, which lays the foundation of the design and optimization for the regenerative braking system.

Vortex air curtain of plane wall fan drum can control the diffusion of air stripping dust effectively. In order to solve the high-concentration dust problem in fully mechanized excavation face, formation mechanism of vortex air curtain was analyzed. According to fluid mechanical control equations of gas phase flow, mathematical model was established to solve air migration law of vortex air curtain in fully mechanized excavation face. By using Simple algorithm based on collocated grid and fluent software, numerical simulation of air spatial migration law of closed-end dust control in fully mechanized excavation face was carried out. The simulation results show that vortex air curtain dust control system can form dust control fan drum along driving head to the front of the roadheader driver. According to the simulation results and actual conditions of working face field, vortex air curtain suction dust control system consisted of plane wall fan drum and exhausted dust purification device in fully mechanized excavation face was designed, and after it was applied in fully mechanized excavation face, the dust concentration decreased effectively in the working face field.

Based on the characteristics of releasing loads for many times, the attitude dynamics model of MIRV has established by using the Rodrigues representation, and we proposed a method of indirect multi-model adaptive attitude control. It was proved that the adaptive controller we designed can ensure the control system globally uniformly and bounded stable according to the Lyapunov stability theory, and the effectiveness of the controller was demonstrated by the numerical simulation results.

In alpha radioactivity measurement using ionized air transportation (AMAT), conversion from ion currents to radioactivity accurate is required. An ion transport simulation provides ways of complementarily determining conversion factors. We have developed an ion transport simulation model. Simulation results were compared with experiments with air speeds, faster than 1 m/s, achieving good agreement. In a practical AMAT apparatus, the air-flow at the alpha source may be slower than 1 m/s, and ion loss is likely to be large. Reinforcement of the ion transport model to cover the lower air speed region is effective. Ions are generated by an alpha particle in a very thin column. Since the ion density at this temporal stage is high, the recombination loss, proportional to the square of ion density, is dominant within a few milli-seconds. The spatial and temporal scales of this columnar recombination are too small for CFD simulation. We solve an ion transport equation during the period of columnar recombination with diffusion and recombination terms and incorporated the relation between ion loss and turbulent parameters into CFD. Using this model, simulations have been done for various air speeds and targets. Those for simulation results agree with experiments, showing improvement of simulation accuracy.

More and more people have take more attention on the problem like Seawater intrusion, The same floor recharge and "heat transfixion". This article has established the groundwater flow and solute transport and temperature coupling numerical model,to simulate the underground water temperature’s change by changing the wells’ spacing manner. Simulation results show that the two kinds of disposing Wells solutions are not cause seawater invasion, the second disposing Wells scheme help to prevent the occurrence of seawater invasion.

A double-loop control system simulation model is created in Matlab/Simulink based on mathematical model of PMSM, as well, the structures and properties of each functional module are introduced in detail. The simulation results prove that the model was effective and it had good steady-state and dynamic tracking performance. Finally, experiments were carried out to prove the validity of the simulation model in the development of practical engineering.This model provides an effective auxiliary method for theoretical analysis and engineering design of PMSM double-loop control system.

In this paper, an advanced 3D FE model was established using ABAQUS Explicit to simulate the process of milling aluminum-alloy 7075-T7451. Taking the end edge and the side edge of single flute into consideration, the model simulated the interaction between the spiral flute and wokpiece at full depth of cut. In addition, by defining automatic element deletion criterion and locally refining mesh, this model realized chip separating from workpiece without defining of cutting layer. The simulation results were compared with experimental data to verify the correctness of the simulation model.

We have studied the chaotic and strange nonchaotic phenomena of a simple quasiperiodically forced Wien bridge oscillator circuit with diode as the only nonlinearity in this electronic oscillator system responsible for various nonlinear behaviors. Both the experimental results and the numerical simulation results for their confirmation are provided to show the bifurcation process. Various measures used for the numerical confirmation of SNA are power spectrum, maximal Lyapunov exponent, path of translational variables, mean square displacement, projection of poincaré section, log-log plot, and autocorrelation function. Based upon the numerical results, the birth of SNAs has been identified in the band merging route, intermittency route, and blowout bifurcation route. In addition, the birth of SNAs has been analyzed with peculiar mechanism, namely, “0-1 Test” employing the one state dynamical variable.

This paper takes the rear axle cap which is a typical automobile covering part as the research object. 3D and finite element model of it are built, and the drawing process is simulated with Dynaform, then the technological parameters are analyzed and optimized based on the simulation results, finally the part is compared with the one that is processed in practice. The results show that this method is easy and feasible, it not only increase the work efficiency greatly but also improve the quality of products.

The problem of development and implementation of a simple and effective method of the rectifiers operation control for the modular uninterruptible DC power supply unit in order to increase its reliability is considered in this paper. The main idea of the method is to control the process of cyclic shifting of the switched-on power modules of the uninterruptible power supply by series switching into operation of each subsequent module from their unloaded reserve and switching out the previous one. The paper presents the control system structure where in addition to the central control module, it is proposed to add the control unit for power modules, which is responsible for implementing the process of their switching on and monitors their condition. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed method, computer simulation model describing the power modules control logic is developed. The Simulink visual modeling environment and the mathematical tools of the Stateflow library component using state and transition diagrams are used in order to develop the simulation model. The developed simulation model is tested and the simulation results are given in the form of time diagrams of state change. The іmplementation of the developed method, due to the uniform reduction of the period during which the power modules of the uninterruptible power supply are on the switched-on loaded state, makes it possible to increase their operating time to failure, which in turn increases its reliability without deteriorating energy efficiency. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the developed algorithm in various system operation modes. Based on the proposed method, hardware and software which is implemented as a part of intelligent computerized control system for uninterruptible DC power supply is created.
