In view of the existing flaws of traditional manual observations, a new type of tailing reservoir safety monitoring and warning system based on ZigBee and LabVIEW was designed. The system chose SoC chip CC2530 as the RF transceiver and designed the low-power wireless sensor networks nodes to collect and process the data of tailing reservoir. It chose ZigBee 2007 as the network communication protocol, and uploaded the data to PC by RS232 serial port. The monitoring and warning interface of PC was completed with LabVIEW. The testing results show that the data transmission of the network is stable and the system is suitable for real-time monitoring and warning of the tungsten tailing reservoir.

System uses micro-controller MSP430 as MCU of a whole system, using an embedded MODEM as a MODEM of data of system, MODEM connection with the microcontroller through the serial port, using another chip of microcontroller to implement a serial communication with PC interface in order to achieve the overall system configuration. One kind of automatic wireless infusion control/monitoring system based on micro controller unit(MCU) and nRF401 had been designed and implemented to overcome the shortages in the processing of venous transfusion care. The system used AT89C52 single-chip computer as machine’s core, the realization of communication between a master computer and a slave computer with nRF401. Doctors could get the information through the wireless transmission to control and monitor the process of transfusion in time. According to RS232 communication protocol, the system implements the communication between one computer and multi-computer by adopting AT89C51 single chip microcomputer. This system has many advantages, such as low cost, high precision, small volume, convenience, low power consumption, good extendibility and so on.

With the gradual development of industrial technology, visual measuring technique has been widely used in industrial field. In the automatic production, it is used in the analysis of objects characteristics, the detection of working condition and the control of quality. This paper mainly studies how the machine vision theory is applied in the practical detections, and develops the overall visual detection platform. It uses the serial port communication between VC++6.0 and Single-Chip Microcomputer to control the experimental platform. In order to realize to test the production defects, it uses the knowledge of mathematical morphology to put forward a defect detection method of production image based on regional morphology. It can realize to simulate actual production line, and has a certain development prospects for real-time detections of product quality.

The temperature, humidity and illumination control system designed in this paper is based on Android platform. It is controlled by connecting the mobile phone wifi with the single chip microcomputer, and uploaded to the mobile phone client through wifi serial port technology. Users can collect indoor temperature and humidity data and illumination data through sensors. Through the mobile phone client to control the LED lights and relay switches of household appliances, such as the control of air conditioning, and finally achieve the goal of adjusting indoor lighting and controlling the on-off of household appliances.

This paper system based on GPRS and a single chip microcomputer. System is applied to facility agriculture. Work aims to realize the wireless data transmission. Using digital temperature sensors, humidity sensors and carbon dioxide concentration sensors, they could collect greenhouse related parameters data. After that, GPRS wireless module send these data to farmers' mobile phones and remote expert system. After system set up, practice has proved that farmers mobile phone can receive temperature data from ds18b20 temperature sensor and with no delay. Stored in SD card crop picture can transmit through GPRS model. In the picture size below 20 KB situation, delay is not obvious. Transmission effect is good.

In this article, Using the latest Visual studio.net 2005 supplied C # serial class implements PC and single-chip microcomputer of serial communication.
