The article explores the role of antropoetonyms in the reader’s “horizon of expectation” formation. As a kind of “text in the text”, antropoetonyms are concentrating a large amount of information on a minor part of the text, reflecting the main theme of the work. As a “text” this class of poetonyms performs a number of functions: transmission and storage of information, generation of new meanings, the function of “cultural memory”, which explains the readers’ “horizon of expectations”. In analyzing the context of the literary work we should consider the function of antropoetonyms in vertical context (the link between artistic and other texts, and the groundwork system of culture), as well as in the context of the horizontal one (times’ connection realized in the communication chain from the word to the text; the author’s intention). In this aspect, the role of antropoetonyms in the structure of the literary text is extremely significant because antropoetonyms convey an associative nature, generating a complex mechanism of allusions. It’s an open fact that they always transmit information about the preceding text and suggest a double decoding. On the one hand, the recipient decodes this information, on the other – accepts this as a sort of hidden, “secret” sense.

The vocative function of an address being the basic one is supplemented and modified by a number of other functions actualized in communication, i.e. the phatic one (establishing and developing the contact with the addressee), the status one (reflecting the status responsibility of the communicants), the emotional and attitudinal one (characterizing the addressee and the attitude of the speaker towards the uttered information). Such modification explains the polyfunctional character of the address in communication. All units of address, just like the components of the addressing functional field, are polysemantic and polysemy comprises every type of an address. According to the communicative tasks the following functions can be stated within the vocative one: nominative (naming the addressee), deixis (identifying the addressee), vocative proper (attracting the addressee’s attention). The field model of addresses’ semantic structures allows to research standard and nonstandard vocatives. The standard addresses form the nucleus of the semantic field under research and characterize stability of their application in one of the above-mentioned functions. Nonstandard vocative lexemes (1 % of the total amount of the experimental material) can play the role of an address under certain circumstances. They form semantically heterogeneous (conditioned by a situation) group, located in the periphery area of the semantic field of addresses. The addresses that include anthroponyms form the most widely used group (64,5 % in Ukrainian and 68,1 % in French), the second place belongs to the addresses with appellatives (34,6 % and 29,9 %, correspondingly). As to the composition of appellatives in the status and role addresses they comprise 36,4 % in Ukrainian and 34,9 % in French. Attitudinal addresses reach 63 % and 65,1 %, correspondingly.

The article discusses issues related to the problem of justifying the value of philosophical creativity in modern culture. It proves the author’s position of special significance of philosophy for the development of personal culture, and worldview of the person and modern society. The article shows that philosophizing is inherently different from other forms of creativity in culture, and agues that philosophical oeuvre bases on the critical perception of the existing knowledge. Involving the theory of self-organization – synergetic – the authors have shown systemic nature of meaning, which plays the role of attractor (a stable solution in the space of cultural meanings). But the sense of simultaneously co-exists in close connection with ad-culture knowledge represented in archetypal forms, continually becoming, realized in connection with the activities of consciousness and clarifying the nature of meaning. The authors demonstrate their position with the notion of discourse. The phenomenon of discourse is considered in its ontological dimensions as a conceptual basis of human existence and position in the culture. On the theories of postmodernism and poststructuralism the authors determine the form of philosophizing, based on the paradoxical structures that have under-subject nature. In this sense, there is the way to overcome the subject-object dualism, because the detection of under-subject nature of the meaning displays this meaning beyond the boundaries of the semantic field of culture. In this case, Philosophizing is a special form of operating in meanings that have just the same universal nature that is inherent to the nature of the phenomenon of meaning. In the end, the authors conclude that the role of philosophy in culture consists of the ability, which exists in its own nature. Philosophical discourse demonstrates its universal and integrative nature in socio-cultural space, creating a unique specific form of positioning oneself in the world. The authors conclude that philosophizing as a form of art, similar to “the science of Socrates” – the art of the truth birth in the course of the dispute, allows all cultural forms to stay dynamic, being in constant dialogue with each other, thereby freezing in their own forms.

The massive immigration of Italians to Argentina during the 19th and 20th centuries produced a contact between Italian and Spanish languages. This contact situation left signs in phraseological units of the Spanish variety spoken in Argentina. Our work concerns the diatopic phraseology of Spanish and aims at studying the Italian component in Argentinian Spanish phraseology. As a result, we shall contextualise the role of the Italian language in the evolution of the Spanish spoken in Argentina, describe the methodology used for the retrieval of the information contained in the phraseological corpus that is part of the database of the research project Frasytram (University of Alicante) and, finally, focus on the Argentinian phraseological units of the semantic field character-way of being-attitude that have components of the Italian language or derive from them, in order to identify its integration process.

Introduction. The purpose of the article is to consider the consequences of the virtual shift or virtual inversion, which has led to blurring the structure of the act of development proposed within the framework of cultural-historical psychology. In this regard, the problem is the need to develop an alternative to this phenomenon of inversion, and returning a person (both a school student and an adult mediator) their basic roles as subjects of development. Materials and Methods. The conceptual ideas of cultural-historical psychology including the idea of mediation, objective action, the semantic field, the role of an adult as a mediator in an act of development, were used as a methodological background of the research. Results. The article is the second part of the author’s previous publication. The paper considers the concept derived from L. S. Vygotsky’s cultural-historical psychology, which is proposed to be adopted as a basic one in order to build an explanatory model used by the author to describe and comprehend the phenomenon of transformation of the human development process in the new reality of the digital environment. The article introduces the basic principles and provisions, the explanatory model is built on, concerning the role of symbolic-instrumental mediation in human development, the role of an adult as a mediator, the structure of the act of thinking and the act of development, the basic mechanism of mastering a person's behavior, which permeates the formation of higher mental functions. The author compares this explanatory model and the behavioral model used in most modern research investigations that examine the impact of digital technologies on schoolchildren and students. The language of the model of cultural-historical psychology is used to clarify the reality of the current virtual shift (virtual inversion), according to which the main provisions that play the role of supports in the cultural-historical model are subjected to radical revision and transformation, due to which the process of human cultural development is called into question. In this regard, the author proposes to use the resource and project potential of cultural-historical psychology in order to develop new models on its basis, build a new research and project agenda that returns the main ideas of cultural-historical psychology within the framework of a new mixed hybrid reality, where digital technologies are becoming the tools of personal development. Conclusions. In conclusion, the work offers a cultural task for the further development of cultural-historical psychology. It is proposed to restore the adult-student relationship, restore the idea and the role of the semantic field for teaching a subject action, restore children's communities within the new social-digital hybrid reality, where digital technologies do not act as means enslaving students, but as smart mediators-assistants.

The article analyzes the names of newspapers and magazines published in the Republic of Tatarstan (a constituent entity of the Russian Federation) from 1917 to 1991. The research object (hemeronyms) is considered by the authors as an artifact of culture; the authors prove that among all the onyms, hemeronyms seem to be the most dependent on cultural, historical, and ideological factors. Based on the application of the methods of keywords and key meanings, the semantic field of the media onomastic regional space of the studied period is reconstructed. It is shown that the nuclear idea of a semantic field constructed as a result of systematization of empirical material is an idea that can be designated as “building a society of a new formation”. The nuclear idea is revealed in specific key meanings: “struggle” (namely ‘active actions to overcome or achieve something’ and ‘active actions aimed at achieving labor success’), “renewal”, i.e. ‘aimed at building a new socio-economic formation - the communist’, “path”, “collectivization”, “labor as the supreme value”, “guiding the role of the communist party (communists)”. The research results obtained by the authors reflect the specifics of not only the regional (Tatarstan) media onomastic space, but also the whole of Soviet Russia. The algorithm of the study of Russian hemonyms of the Soviet era presented in the work can be extrapolated to the similar material of other national-cultural formations or of the Russian one, but covering other time periods with its own specific worldview dominant.

Practice turn marks an important advancement in International Relations theorizing. In challenging abstract meta-theoretical debates, practice theorizing in International Relations aims to get close to the lifeworld(s) of the actual practitioners of politics. Scholars from different positions such as constructivism, critical theory, and post-structuralism have critically interrogated the analytical framework of practices in international politics. Building upon these works, we are concerned with a question of how to examine the context of international practices that unfolds in multiple ways in practitioners’ performances. Our central thesis is that a distinct pragmatic methodology offers an opportunity to keep with the practice turn and avoid the problematic foundational moves of mainstream practice theorizing. This involves foregrounding three interrelated processes in examining practices: the role of exceptions in the normal stream of performances, normative uptake of the analysts, and the semantic field that actors navigate in political performances. We argue that this methodology is predicated on its usefulness to interpret practices through reflective social-science inquiry.

The coronation cycle in the Portico of the Birth in the temple of Deir el-Bahari includes a scene of purification of Hatshepsut by a god captioned as Ha in Sheta. This seemingly hapax toponym provides the key to a proper understanding of the highly symbolic meaning of the scene. The place name, composed of basic cosmographical hieroglyphs, has at the same time a spelling that refers to a vast semantic field of the notions of “mystery”, “secret”, “be hidden”, etc. It appears that the purification made by a god of the western desert in a “mysterious” place refers to the initiation of the female pharaoh into the secrets of the sun god, enabling her to fulfill her role as the provider of sustenance for humanity. The role of the god Ha as a protector against hunger, rooted in the Old Kingdom tradition and expressed also in the text of BD 178 in the Offering Chapel of Hatshepsut, is crucial in this respect.
