This research is motivated by the very fact that there are still students who procrastinate, especially academic assignments, during this case, called the wife of student academic procrastination. Efforts made in reducing the extent of student academic procrastination are information services employing a problem-based learning model. This research aims to look at the effectiveness of data services using problem-based learning models to scale back student academic procrastination. This research uses quantitative methods. the sort of this research is Quasi Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. the themes of this research were counseling students at the University of Bengkulu. The research instrument used was a Likert scale model. The results showed that information services using effective problem-based learning models to scale back student academic procrastination. The implication of the results of this study is that it are often used as input in creating guidance and counseling service programs, especially in information services using problem-based learning models to scale back student academic procrastination.

Academic procrastination can be defined as a person's tendency to delay activities related to academics. We can find procrastination at every level of education, especially in college. One of the causes of procrastination in students because college students have greater responsibilities and demands than before. This research analyzed the effectiveness of role playing in information services to reduce student academic procrastination by uses a quantitative methods. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment with The Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study were students majoring in Curriculum and Educational Technology, with 32 students in experimental group of and 32 students in control group. The research instrument used was a Likert Scale model, then it was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Rasch model. The results of this study generally indicate that information services using role playing are effective to reducing academic procrastination for students

This study aims to describe and analyze self-efficacy, social support, and teacher readiness to face retirement. The research was carried out using descriptive quantitative methods. The population of this research is 125 teachers who will retire in Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota, Riau, and the research sample is 95 teachers who will retire in Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota, Riau. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The research data were analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression. The data analysis process uses the help of the SPSS program. The findings of this study are: (1) self-efficacy contributes to teacher readiness to face retirement with an effective contribution of 28.1%, (2) social support contributes to teacher readiness to face retirement by 21.6% (3) self-efficacy and social support simultaneously. collectively contributed 31.5% to teachers' readiness to face retirement. The implications of the results of this study can be used as a basis for the preparation of guidance and counseling service programs.

This study aims to determine the competence of BK (Guidance and Counseling) students as prospective counselors in implementing group guidance services (BKp). This study used a descriptive quantitative method. The sample was determined by using a purposive sampling technique. Likert scale model was chosen as the instrument of this research. The research subjects were BK students of IAIN Batusangkar in the 2019/2020 academic year. The results revealed that the students’ competency in implementing group guidance services are divided into four categories, they are the competence at transitional stage which is the lowest (63%), competence at activity stage which is in high category (83%), competence at conclusion is categorized low (73%), and last competence at the final stage which is moderate (77%). The research findings have an impact on producing reliable prospective counselors in the future by having the competence to provide group guidance services.

The less understanding of the discipline learning by the student causes students to violate the rules and regulations that have been set in the school environment. This problem occurs because students are not aware of the meaning of the discipline learning, so it takes effort to improve students' understanding of the discipline learning. The understanding of learning discipline of the student is not seen in terms of attendance at school, taking lessons in class, managing time, school rules and free time. One of the efforts that made in improving student understanding is by the information service of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of information services with the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model to improve students' understanding of the discipline learning. This research used quantitative methods. The type of research was a Quasi Experiment with the design of The One Group Pretest-Posttest (without using a control group). The population of this study were Dian Andalas Padang High School students and the sample was selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument of the research was using a Likert Scale model (a questionnaire about the understanding of student learning discipline), the data were analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the help of SPSS version 20. The results showed that the average score of pretest 123 and posttest 160. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the service information with the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model is effective for increasing understanding of student learning discipline.

This research is motivated by the stress that become a complex problem for students in daily life. Self efficacy, achievement motivation, and academic procrastination expect to affect student’s academic stress. The research purpose was to describe: (1) self efficacy, (2) achievement motivation, (3) academic procrastination, (4) student academic stress, (5) correlation of self efficacy with student’s academic stress, (6) correlation of achievement motivation with student’s academic stress, (7) correlation of academic procrastination with student’s academic stress, and (8) correlation of self efficacy, achievement motivation and academic procrastination with student’s academic stress.This study used quantitative approach with correlation descriptive method and the population were students of Guidance and Counseling Program of Education Faculty State University of Padang. The sampling technique was proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument was a scale model of Likert. The instrument reliability of self efficacy was 0,930, achievement motivation was 0,906, academic procrastination was 0,868, and student’s academic stress was 0,932. The instrument validity of self efficacy 0,554, achievement motivation was 0,469, academic procrastination was 0,453, and student’s academic stress was 0,568. Data were analyzed by using simple linier regression and multiple regression.The result indicates that: (1) self efficacy and achievement motivation of students are at the high category, (2) academic procrastination and student’s academic stress are in the moderate category, (3) there are negative correlation and significant between self efficacy with student’s academic stress, (4) there are negative and significant correlation between achievement motivation and student’s academic stress, (5) there are positive and significant correlation between academic procrastination with student’s academic stress, (6) there are significant correlation between self efficacy, achievement motivation and academic procrastination with student’s academic stress together, and (7) the implication are inputs from the various parties involved in to increase self efficacy and achievement motivation of students and reduce or prevent procrastination and academic stress..Keywords: Self Efficacy, Achievement Motivation, Procrastination Academic, Academic Stress

The United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) reports the number of people living with HIV in 2012 as much as 35.3 million people. In the same year AIDS mortality rate amounted to 1.6 million people and as many as 2.3 million people have HIV. Seeing the high number of people with HIV/AIDS, it is the government's duty to continue socializing about HIV/AIDS. At school, tutoring and counseling teachers provide an important role to provide information about the disease, especially high school students. At this time a group of teenagers in susceptible to age 10-19 years is a period of rapid growth and development both physical, psychological and intellectual. Based on the results of the research in the field, many students do not understand about HIV/AIDS. One way of addressing the problem is to provide information services. The purpose of this research is to find out if there is an influence on information services in an effort to improve understanding of HIV/AIDS for students. This research uses quantitative methods with quasi experimental design. The subject of this research is high school student Sriguna Palembang XI IPA 2. The research Instrument uses a Likert scale model, subsequently analysed using Test-T. In general, this research shows the influence of information services in the effort to improve understanding of HIV/AIDS. Based on the results of the research that has been obtained, the cooperation of various parties is expected to improve students ' understanding.Keywords: Information Services, HIV/AIDS

Abstract: The confidence of students in learning can be seen from the students 'daily learning activities, namely fear for suggested, ignore his social life, often looked glum in learning, afraid to form your own opinion, and many students are not responsible for the given task master, so many students who cheated. One of the efforts made to improve the confidence of students in learning is by information services. This research aims to test the effectiveness of information services by using contextual teaching and learning approaches to increase the confidence of students in learning. This research using quantitative methods. This type of research is Quasi Experiment with Pretest-Posttest design Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students at SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP Padang and The sample was chosen by using Purposive Sampling Technique. Research instrument used with Likert scale model, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Sample Independent with the help of SPSS version 17.00. In general the findings of this research it can be concluded that the information services with the contextual approach to teaching and learning can improve the confidence of students in learning.

Academic procrastination was one of behavior of students who defer to the task. Academic procrastination was influenced by various factors among which are the locus of control and perfectionist. This study aimed to described: (1) locus of control of students SMAN 10 Padang, (2) perfectionist of students SMAN 10 Padang, (3) academic procrastination of students SMAN 10 Padang, (4) contribution locus of control toward academic procrastination students SMAN 10 Padang, (5) contribution of perfectionist towardacademic procrastination studentsSMAN 10Padang, (6) contribution locus of control and perfectionist toward academic procrastination students SMAN 10 Padang.This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational method. The population in this research were students in grade X and XI of SMAN 10 Padang many as 571 students. Samples were obtained as many 235 students with using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instruments of this research were the Inventory and Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed by using simple regression, and multiple regression.The research finding were: (1) locus of control in average were at internal category, (2) perfectionist in average were atmoderate category, (3) the academic procrastination in average were at moderate category, (4) the locus of control are contribution significant to academic procrastination by 21.3%, (5) the perfectionist contribution significant to academic procrastination by 11.7%, and (6) the locus of control and perfectionist in together contribute significant to the academic procrastination by 24.5%. The implication of this research may useful input to direct the Guidance and Counseling Teacher/Counselors to provide guidance and counseling services especially for personal and of study field. One of the learning problems that often occurs, especially in universities, is to postpone all activities related to academics or better known as academic procrastination. During the lecture process, it was found that many students were identified as conducting academic procrastination, like procrastinating on assignments from lecturers, delaying learning, etc., which would ultimately affect not only the learning outcomes, but also on student morale. One of the direct consequences of academic procrastination is the lack of honesty in working on academic assignments, which of course needs to be typically prevented. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of information services by using Role-Playing in an effort to prevent academic procrastination in college students. This study used one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that information services by using Role-Playing effectively in reducing academic procrastination for college students.

This research is based on the lack of development of assertive behavior of students in school. Students who have good assertive behavior can be seen from the ability of students to make decisions, able to express feelings of honesty and comfort, be able to defend themselves, be able to express opinions, and not ignore the rights of others. Factors that influence students' assertive behavior include gender and parenting parents. Assertive behavior of students in terms of male and female sex and parenting parents will be different, the difference in assertive behavior of students is influenced by several factors both internal factors and external factors. This study aims to describe and distinguish students' assertive behavior in terms of gender and parenting style and its implications in Guidance and Counseling services. The population in this study were all students in SMA N 1 Payung Sekaki Kabupaten Solok. The sampling  technique uses stratified random sampling. The instrument used is a Likert scale model. Data analysis using two-way variance analysis (ANAVA) technique.The results of data analysis show that: (1) Assertive behavior of students in terms of gender, namely men and women are in the moderate category, there are significant differences where the average score of men is higher than women, (2) Assertive behavior students in terms of parenting, namely authoritarian, permissive, and authoritative parenting, are in the moderate category, but there are no significant differences, meaning there is no difference in assertive behavior of students in terms of parenting, (3) sex and parenting style in explaining the description of student assertive behavior. The implications of the results of the research for implementing guidance and counseling are as material for consideration of the preparation of BK service programs in developing and enhancing student assertive behavior.
