The success of the training can be seen from how the activation process takes place. One of them is by designing an innovative training model. This research aims to analyze results validation of the mobile training management model. This research uses descriptive quantitative analysis in determining the level of validation of research instruments. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research to assess the level of validation of the research instrument. The sample of this research is the participants of basic level seafaring training at the Surabaya Shipping Polytechnic, the Director of the Surabaya Shipping Polytechnic, and local government employees related to mobile training activities. The research was analyzed based on results validation of the training and education management experts. The results reserach show that the mobile training model instrument is declared valid. Results of expert assessment from training management and managing education are categorized as good. This shows that the mobile training development model in improving the quality of education and training is worthy of further research.

The study was to generate a valid, practical and effective competence-based training model for the electricity program vocational high school teachers. The type of the study was research and development that referred to the development stages proposed by Plomp. The data gathering instrument for the study consisted of: (1) validation sheet; (2) observation sheet; and (3) response questionnaire for the training participants and the trainers. In order to measure the level of reliability and the level of agreement consistency among the raters, the researcher implemented the Cohen’s Kappa coefficient statistics has a minimum value of ≥ 0.70. The subjects of the study were the electricity program vocational high school teachers in the City of Makassar and the Regency of Gowa totaling 22 people. The results of the study were as follows: (1) the training model had fulfilled the criteria of validity so that the model might be implemented for the training activities of electricity program vocational high school teachers; (2) the training model had fulfilled the criteria of practicality that were measured from the level of model stage (syntax) implementation; (3) the training model had fulfilled the criteria of effectiveness that had the following indicators: (a) the level of knowledge and understanding exposed by the training participants, (b) the level of teaching skills exposed by the training participants, (c) the quality of training participants’ portfolio and (d) the response of the training participants and the trainers.


The root of the problem in productivity is due to the lack of creativity and innovative labor in creating batik by transforming Minangkabau carvings into batik motif designs. Therefore, this condition causes the quality of community resources to be decreased. In order to improve the quality of community resources in West Sumatra, batik training activities are held. The purpose of this study is to produce batik training products that are valid, practical and effective. The development model used in this study is a 4-D (four D models) development model. Batik Training Model for Transformation of Minangkabau Carving into Local Culture-Based Batik Design that has been produced has a level: The validity of the 4.32 model book is very valid, the validity of the manual book is 4.59 and the category is very valid, the validity of the craftsmen's book is 4.53 and the category is very valid. The practicality of the model book is 3.53 and the practical category, the instructor/teacher response to the manual book is 3.29, and the practical category, the response of the craftsman to the training module is 3.65 and the category is very appropriate, the practicality of the craftsman's book. The effectiveness of the craftsman books obtained was 77.9 and categorized high.

The quality of training is an important issue and is of special concern to universities. Lecturers has a pioneering role in innovation of higher education management since the quality of higher education is always associated with the quality of lecturers. Assessing job satisfaction of lecturers is a fundamental step for universities to improve quality and job satisfaction of lecturers as well as attract and retain qualified lecturers. This study aims at assessing job satisfaction of lecturers in Vietnamese universities. For the purpose of this study, quantitative research method was applied. The questionnaires were sent randomly to 131 lecturers from 48 universities in Vietnam via email and google doc. Then, data was analyzed by various tool including descriptive statistics, frequency, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The study examined four factors affecting lecturer job satisfaction include Facilities, Job Characteristics, Salaries and Fringe Benefits, Development Opportunities. Specifically, Job Characteristics have the strongest impact on lecturer job satisfaction while Salary and Fringe Benefits have the smallest impact on lecturer job satisfaction. The research on factors affecting job satisfaction of lecturers helps universities to develop appropriate policies in order to maintain and develop lecturers, as well as attract talents and prevent the “brain drain”.

The writing ability of the lecturers of the Communication Studies Study Program still needs to be improved considering that the number of scientific articles written by the UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta lecturers in general and the lecturers of the Communication Studies Study Program, in particular, is still tiny, so it is deemed necessary to carry out specific assessments of the lecturers so that the number of scientific articles written in Accredited journals is increasing. Improving the writing ability of lecturers in accredited journals is carried out through training with the Addie model. This study aims to find out how the Addie model is used by the Communication Studies Study Program to improve the pedagogic competence of lecturers in terms of the ability to write accredited journals. Using the Research and Development (RnD) approach through the stages of the ADDIE model, this study involved 30 lecturers of the Department of Communication Sciences UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta as participants. The results of this study are the training model. The developed training model is quite effective in increasing the ability of participants to write and produce scientific papers of international standard. This can be seen from the changes in the contents of the manuscripts submitted before and after the training and the assessment carried out by the supervisors, which showed significant progress in the quality of the participants' writings. The training activities also increased the perception of lecturers in the Department of Communication Sciences UPN Veteran Yogyakarta regarding their ability to write scientific papers for international publications.

Many mothers who give birth to Sectio Caesarea (SC) do not Initiate Early Breastfeeding (IMD), which fails exclusive breastfeeding. This study aimed to determine the effect of IMD management in postpartum SC mothers on nutritional status, speed of milk production, and quality of breast milk protein. Method: quantitative research with quasi approach experiment. The research design used was a pre-post-test control non-equivalent control group. A sampling of this study used the Consecutive method sampling with a sample of 20 mothers who gave birth by cesarean section (SC). Hypothesis testing uses the independent t-test and the Mann-Whitney test. The study results showed an influence on the management of IMD in postpartum SC mothers on the speed of ASI production (p-value=0.004) and nutritional status (p-value=0.028). There was no effect of IMD management on postpartum SC mothers on the quality of breast milk protein (p-value = 0.543). This study recommends that the hospital implement an IMD promotion program before the abdominal wall is closed as a form of intervention to increase milk production and maternal nutritional status

Abstract: Islamic education institutions in Indonesia face two challenges, namely; internal and external. Internally, Islamic education is faced with the classic problem of the low quality of human resources in education management. The causes include poor quality and education staff development and selectivity of education personnel. Furthermore externally, Islamic education institutions faced three major issues; globalization, democratization, and liberalization. The issue of globalization that is identical with market orientation and mechanism also affects the world of education. That way in education also includes awareness about how to attract and convince the community of the type and model of education. From here, the education world is ready or not ready to be involved in competition to gain public trust. To face these challenges Islamic Education institutions must maximally manage and empower all elements of management in the management of educational institutions. A good understanding of the elements of management can have an impact on the readiness of educational institutions to manage their institutions well in any condition to be the best and foremost. Audit delay and timeliness are important factors that influence the quality of accounting information in term of relevance. This study provides empirical evidence to answer the question of how bankruptcy possibility impacts on audit delay and timeliness.  This research studies manufacturing firms listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period of 2012-2016. Data are taken from official website of IDX. This study is a quantitative research that seek to find out relationship between independent variable and dependent variable. External secondary data used are annual reports accessed from IDX website. Measurement used is Z-Score Altman model prediction, while simple linear regression is employed as technical analysis. This study finds that bankruptcy possibility which is measured by ZScore is negatively influence audit delay and timeliness. Any decrease of Z-Score shows the possibility of a company experience bankruptcy and therefore causes audit delay and timeliness.

Kinship, family composition and household dynamics among siblings are developed positively or negatively in early life right through adulthood. Hence, the purpose of this paper is highlight the importance of family environment in influencing sibling relationship, with emphasis on sibling rivalry. Determining the factors that contribute towards sibling competition is important in counselling and assisting individuals with family issues. From a quantitative research approach, the findings showed that sibling relationships are problematic and has led to jealousies and prejudices especially if parents take sides. Family ties depend on happy sibling interactions which indirectly affects socio-economic developments as social ills are resolved. In ameliorating these private and sensitive issues among family members, the holistic society will benefit psychologically and happiness as well as a better quality of life will be attained.© 2016. The demand for performing intravitreal injections has increased in recent years, prompting the need for more nurse training in their administration. The Great Western Hospitals NHS Trust in Swindon has developed a structured nurse training programme and now has 8 independent nurse injectors trained to undertake injections independently; nurse practitioners now contribute upwards of 85% of the total number of injections. The authors have also demonstrated the financial benefits of using injection assistant devices and shown the positive impact such devices have on training. In September 2019, the authors organised the first course to offer nurses and doctors hands-on experience in administering injections, using the Swindon training model to provide participants with a structured approach to learn how to perform intravitreal injections safely. Nurses made up 96% of participants; the remainder were doctors and managers; 6% had never performed an intravitreal injection; of units where they had, disposable drapes and a speculum were used in 71% of these. The number of injections performed per session at participants' units at the time they attended the course was: 17 or more injections=46%, 13–14=39%, and 11–12=15%. The course was rated 8.9/10 overall for content, with 85% very likely to recommend it to colleagues. All participants indicated that using the Swindon model made them feel confident to deliver injections safely. The authors demonstrated that using a structured training protocol and intravitreal assistant device improves the quality of nurse training and increases confidence in administering intravitreal injections.

The growing body of literature concerning the hunted wild game meat (HWGM) supply chain is mainly focused on the final consumer, while little is known about upstream production processes. Even though the hunter plays a central role here, it is not well understood how hunters themselves perceive their role in the various phases of the production process. The present study explores Italian hunters’ perception of the HWGM supply chain and compares it to their perception towards the conventional farmed meat supply chain. We distinguish several phases of this production process and find that the final phase related to on-site game dressing is considered problematic, perhaps because hunters perceive themselves as less skilled than professional butchers. The results, in fact, show that hunters prefer hunted products over farmed meat, but that they consider hunted wild boar meat less safe compared to farmed pork. Findings from this study provide a rare glimpse from the inside of the supply chain and reveals the needs for a broad risk assessment analysis on the Italian game meat supply chain. Considering the development of the Italian emerging market of the HWGM, our results also highlight the relevance of training activities on hunters in order to increase the safety and quality of the final product.
