The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) is the novel disease of the respiratory system, causing the ongoing pandemic with flu-like symptoms. It is caused by a virus known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus-2). This disease affected the entire world and various myths are circulating about its diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The choice for diagnosis should be based on clinical and epidemiological factors and linked to an assessment of the likelihood of infection. A number of rapid diagnostic and serological tests are being used for the detection of suspected COVID-19 cases. However, the sensitivity and specificity of such newly marketed tests have not been evaluated and never up to standard yet. Therefore, it is not recommended any such immunochromatographic or serological rapid screening tests for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infections. The most reliable diagnostic test to confirm COVID-19 is PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) which is a molecular-based test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2. Eradication of highly contagious  SARS-CoV-2  Virus that causing the ongoing deadly pandemic  COVID-19,  demands individual attention and awareness are necessary regarding the route and mode of transmission across the bounders throughout the entire world.  Proper hand-washing, staying at the home and maintaining the social distance are proved to the most effective preventive measures and are immediate solutions to save human beings from this unseen enemy.

Corona virus disease or its pandemic (COVID-19), because of novel corona virus-2 (SARS-nCoV-2), has become a big challenge worldwide to discover an effective therapeutic regime for its prevention and treatment. Researchers and scientists are continuously exploring new ideas and strategies to come up with an effective treatment that can confront against the novel corona virus, but no significant results have been documented in any of the reported study up till. Neither an effective vaccine nor any antiviral therapeutic agent has been approved to treat Covid-19. In the present scenario, immunotherapy by transferring of antibody enriched convalescent sera to the infected patient seems to be one of the promising treatment approaches. This paper focuses on exploring the suitability of using CP transfusion therapy on Covid-19 patients, highlighting the risks and challenges associated with its treatment for gaining maximum clinical benefits and better treatment outcome. The findings derived from the serological assays provide a valuable information that would help to support diagnosis, treatment and prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

In recent period of time Novel Corona virus has become the center point of attraction, due to it pandemic effect on the entire world. This pandemic disease has taken about a million of life and still its outbreak is continued. News reports have been addressing its origin in China by consumption of bats which were af-fected by Novel Corona virus (SARS-CoV2). Its spread in the entire world was a shock and the actual fact was unrevealed. Human beings live in an environment which is filled with various bacteria, fungus, virus and different types of animals since early life. But how this new bacteria or viruses get erupted, it is noth-ing but the effect of rapid modernization and urbanization. Since modernization and change in lifestyle of an individual is related to increase in demand of products which has forced the bar towards artificial world. Nature has been deteriorated for fulfilling the needs but still it is insufficient and in result natural energy /immunity is replaced by artificial. So human beings are more depended on artificial antibodies to safe-guard themselves when they are attacked by different viruses or bacteria. China is a classic example of ar-tificial food production and consumption state, so their people immunity is severely hampered, that result in the outbreak of virus. Similarly, this virus is affecting the entire world but still we have measures to fight this disease is by raising our immunity power. This can be done properly when we understand the disease in a better manner. Ayurveda is the natural science, which helps us to understand the disease and the measure to increase immunity accordingly.

Background. In the past two years, the incidence of the novel coronavirus (CoV) infection COVID-19 (COrona Virus Disease-2019) has been a serious problem for the global community. Considering these circumstances, new molecules and already registered drugs that have proven their effectiveness in other diseases, began to be actively used in COVID-19 treatment. Objectives: to assess the effi cacy of eculizumab in patients with severe COVID-19. Patients/Methods. Three clinical cases of eculizumab use as a part of complex therapy in patients with severe COVID-19 have been analyzed. To assess the treatment efficacy, the main clinical and laboratory parameters and indicators of inflammatory process in coronavirus infection were monitored (clinical blood analysis, biochemical blood test, levels of ferritin, C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, lactate dehydrogenase and membrane attack complex). Results. Under the therapy we found the reduction of concentration of the main inflammation markers relative to the initial values. Conclusions. Complex therapy with eculizumab facilitates the course of the disease, reduces the stay duration of patients in the intensive care unit, shortens the period of artificial lung ventilation, thereby reducing the mortality rate.
