SMKN 1 Praya is one of the schools in NTB with national standards. This school has a very broad environment. In addition, this school also has a fairly good internet network. This can be seen by the breadth of the internet network that almost covers the entire school environment. At SMKN 1 Praya the main problem is the use of internet network data by students to be used to play games and social media during study hours so we need a system that is capable of being a protection so that users cannot use the internet to play games and social media during study hours. . Based on this, the study aims to examine the implementation of network security with mikrotic-based packet filtering at SMKN 1 Praya. In general, this study shows the success of blocking several online game applications such as mobile legend, free fire, TOT and social media such as facebook.

Firewalls are an essential component of the Internet and enterprise network security policy enforcement today. The configurations of enterprise firewalls are typically rather static. Even if client’s IP addresses can be dynamically added to the packet filtering rules, the services allowed through the firewall are commonly still fixed. In this paper, we present a transparent firewall configuration solution based on mobile cryptographic identifiers of Host Identity Protocol (HIP). HIP allows a client to protect the data transfer with IPsec ESP, and supports dynamic address changes for mobile clients. The HIP-based firewall learns the identity of a client when it communicates with the server over HIP. The firewall configures the necessary rules based on HIP control messages passing through the firewall. The solution is secure and flexible, and introduces only minimal latency to the initial HIP connection establishment.

The chapter aims at understanding a recent phenomenon in Mexican politics: the use of Internet and social media as a new and powerful resource for mobilization and social participation in the policy process. Based on a review of two recent movements in Mexico (#YoSoy132 and The Wirikuta Defense Front), the chapter argues that although the Internet is still restricted to the middle and upper classes, the use of social media and its impact transcends class boundaries, draws public attention, creates a valuable social capital for mobilization, and influences the decision-making process. The chapter does not intend to provide evidence to the theoretical discussion on why and how social media enhances political participation and mobilization; rather, it reflects the features shared by these two movements in order to draw some lines for further research. It finds that, if used appropriately, social media is actually an effective tool to facilitate mobilization and modify the public agenda.

Simultaneously there is a multitude of companies that misuse these tools, that makes their actions usually having exactly opposite results of intended. Due to advantages of the Internet as a communication channel and effective advertising medium, more and more companies decide to invest into it. In Poland in 2013, with nearly 7 billion of PLN spent on advertising, more than 21% was invested in online promotion. Furthermore, Internet as an advertising channel of communication is the only one noting regular annual increase in spending on advertising campaigns in comparison to other media. This article is an attempt to show the merits of building companys’ competitive advantage with the use of Internet and particular regard to social media. It presents both own model on-line communication and the results of research among 11 largest retail banks in Poland and opinions of their 1800 customers.

This is the first such study of the use of Internet by political parties in Indonesia. It also documents parties’ websites performance index and online popularity for campaigning in 2019. The purpose of this comparative study is to look at how the Internet was used by Indonesian political parties approaching the 2019 elections. Internet campaign consists of two parts: online presence through political party website, and political marketing through social media. Total of 16 parties participating the elections next year were examined for how they are utilizing official websites and social media platforms. We created an index based on list of website features (scoring system) and then classify it into 4 variables (information provision, mobilization, engagement, and technological sophistication) containing 43 features. We also visualise the descriptive statistical analysis on parties’ social media accounts using RStudio software. The study found that despite half of Indonesian national population is using the Internet, political parties were not yet achieving their maximum potential in using the digital media to disseminate political messages and propaganda. The quality of most of the websites have been subpar. In addition, the quality seems to have no relationship with the financial resources and the current parliamentary size of political parties. On average, official social media accounts run by parties has only been used in the last 3.25 years. Well-established older parties in Indonesia continue to engage with their constituents without heavily relying on social media. Yet, this situation is very likely to change in the future as parties’ elites are now beginning to look into this platform as they seek out to the millennials for electoral support.

Routers are the key equipments connecting Wan, LAN and Internet network, and are the main part of the Internet. The reliability and security of routers is very important to the network performance and information data security. The analysis and research on the technologies of router security and protection is the core issue for network security. This paper mainly aims at providing a series of test and analysis on the vulnerabilities of Tenda wireless routers. Technically, it’s very difficult to crack the WPA /WPA2 wireless encryption. In this paper, we use the related vulnerabilities of wireless routers, and open Wifi Protection Setup (WPS) and Quick Security Settings (QSS) to get router PIN code, which can help us bypass the WPA/WPA2 encryption and, realizesd the router attack.

The aim of this paper is to determine to what extent the use of Internet as a way of acquiring information for research purposes is a successful tool. The Internet can facilitate the research in different ways, some of which are being presented in the paper. Researchers have access to a wide range of databases available on the Internet, also having the opportunity to use sites designed as a social media for academics such as ResearchGate or Academia. Apart from that, there exists some degree of correspondence between open access philosophy and hacker ethics which is being related to academia to point to the possible ethic value researches have towards one another. The paper focuses on advantages of using Internet for the purposes of facilitating research, at the same time introducing the topic of collaboration and co-authorship as vital in today’s ‘publish-or-perish’ academia world.

Objectives: This study determined the use of internet and social media by pharmacists in Delta State as well as their experiences with the internet and patients. Method: This was achieved through the use of a 32 item, structured questionnaire, pretested and administered to 100 pharmacists attending the quarterly meeting of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in Abraka, Delta State. Use of internet and social media were evaluated by Chi square analysis, using SPSS 20. At 95% confidence interval, a 2-tailed, P- value less than 0.05 was considered significant. Results: Of 100 questionnaires administered, 81 were returned, giving a response rate of 81%. Majorities (29.6%) were aged 30-39 years, there were more males (54.3%) than females, one third (39.5%) had been in practice for 1-10 years. Nearly half (48.1%) were in community practice, more than half (56.8%) were practicing in Asaba. Majority (61.7%) used electronic communication for professional services; a quarter (27.2%) used email to communicate with their patients. Whatsapp was 3.5%, text messaging and Face book were 1.2% each. Significant differences were found in their online activities. Reasons for not communicating online included respondents not being computer literate (9.9%), irregular power supply in location (9.9%), lack of time (2.5%). Conclusion: Internet use among respondents in the study area was poor, with those practicing in urban capital using the internet most. There is need to encourage greater internet use among pharmacists because of the obvious benefits to patient care. Keywords: Internet use, pharmacists, social media

With the existence of this information will be easily obtained, the exchange of data that occurs in the virtual world will increase. In addition to the development of this technology, unwittingly evolved also crimes that occur in cyberspace that can harm users who access these sites, ranging from the delivery of viruses, spamming or other types of crime. So that institutions connected in an Internet network will be very vulnerable to network security at the institution. This is given that the productivity of an institution or company will depend on the performance of the network in it. Damage that occurs in a network will result in data exchange that occurs on the network will slow or even damage the network system. Therefore a mechanism that is used to analyze network security is required. Computer network security systems connected to the Internet must be planned and well understood in order to protect the resources within the network effectively.
