This research intended to comprehend the virtual self-image formation process by adolescents and the factors that could support self-image formation on Instagram social media. The subjects from this research were late adolescents who used Instagram actively. The research method used was a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Then, the primary technique used in this research was a semi-structured interview technique.

The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of coffee for Barista in specialty coffee shop. The concept used in this study is the concept of self-image or an individual image. The concept of self-image also explains the feelings and thoughts of individuals. The research method used is qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Whereas data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study show that the meaning of coffee for Barista in specialty coffee shop is the deeper their understanding of knowledge about coffee, the stronger the meaning conveyed to their customers and also to increase the sense of self respect as Barista. Besides that, the interaction built between the Barista and the customers can also strengthen the characteristic of the coffee shops, which is to be the specialty coffee shop in the third wave era.

In the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, human life is influenced by various of sophisticated technologies. One of them is social media that increasingly develop, and take some impacts in human life. The fact is there are some priests ignore their pastoral duty and this takes the result that the church is separated. Many of priests don’t live up to their calling as good shepherds. They cannot recognize the church members who entrusted to them by a bishop. This study focus on the influence of social media for a priest’s duty. The research method used in the issue is a qualitative method by using literature approach. I found out that a priest is a shepherd for members of catholic community. A priest ordained by a bishop to continue Christ duty. Social media can become a tool and an equipment for a priest to develop the spiritual life and ministry. The attendance of a priest is the presence Christ as a good shepherd for His sheeps.

Regarding the importance of exploring the use of social media to enhance English skill, this study investigated the use of social media to improve English skill of EFL learners especially non-English college students. The objective of this study was to find out in what ways social media can contribute to the improvement of EFL learners’ English skill. The research method employed in this study was descriptive qualitative method. In gaining data, this study used questionnaire and observation. The results showed that almost all respondents took advantage of social media to learn English. Some social media used were YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc. The respondents revealed that by the use of social media, their reading skill (97.3% of the respondents), their writing skill (94.6% of the respondents), their vocabulary mastery (91.9% of the respondents), their listening skill (89.2% of the respondents), their speaking skill (86.5% of the respondents), their grammar mastery (83.8% of the respondents) could be improved. Based on the findings of the study, it can be inferred that social media can contribute to the improvement of EFL learners’ English skill in many ways including reading skill, writing skill, vocabulary mastery, listening skill, speaking skill, and grammar mastery. Keywords:  EFL Learners, English Skill, Social Media

Social media becomes a space to express feelings and opinions freely. However, freedom of speech is now abused by internet citizens to freely express words that mean rude, blasphemous, insulting, or in language science called disfemism. This research aims to describe the form and function of disfemism in the comment column of kekeyi public figure's Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data are words, phrases, and sentences containing disfemism in the comments column of the Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23 in July 2020. The data collection method uses the simak method with a recording technique—data collection techniques with documentation techniques. Data analysis uses the agih method with basic natural elements, substitution or substitution techniques, and removal techniques. Based on the results of this study found 279 data on disfemism. The found forms of disfemism are words, phrases, and phrases. The word disfemism form amounts to 90 data, the form of phrase disfemism amounts to 100 data, and the expression disfemism form amounts to 89 data. There are seven functions of disfemism found in this study, among them: (a) as an intermediary to express taboo or indecent things, (b) as a sign of dislike, hate, and disrespect, (c) as an intermediary to express anger or aggravation, (d) as a negative depiction of something, (e) as a means of insulting and mocking, (f) as a means of criticizing, and (g) as a means to exaggerate something and scold.

AbstractThis researchaims to describe mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudara. The object of this research mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudara. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis and data collection techniques with 2 techniques, namely reading and note taking. Based on the analysis of the research, it was found that the forms of words consisting of nouns (nouns), adjectives (adjectives), verbs (verbs), adverbs (adverbs). The various forms of phrase codes were also found in this research, namely noun phrases, verb phrases and adjective phrases.There are mixing code form of words consisting of mixed forms of noun code (nouns) instead of 7 nouns consisting of 6 Indonesian nouns and 1 English noun. The mixing code form of adjective found 8 adjectives consisting of 6 Indonesian adjectives, 6 Indonesian adjectives and 2 English adjectives. The mixing code form of verbs (11 verbs), 11 verbs consisting of 6 Indonesian verbs, 5 verbs in English. The form of a mixture of adverb code that is 3 Indonesian adverb languages. The results of the research mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudaraalso found mixed forms of phrase codes including 1 English noun phrase, 1 English verb phrase and 1 English adjective phrase.Keywords : mixed code, social media, ,meme

<p>Not many Kiai have thoughts about multiculturalism. Kiai M. Sholeh Bahruddin and Kiai Abdullah Syam are considered unique because they have multicultural Islamic thoughts and actualize them in building community harmony. This paper aimed to explore the basis, approach, and channel of Islamic actualization in responding to various challenges. The research method used was the qualitative method with a symbolic interaction approach. The data collection procedures were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by following the steps suggested by Saldana, Miles, and Huberman (2013). This study found that the basis for the actualization of multicultural Islamic thoughts of Kiai M. Sholeh Bahruddin and Kiai Abdullah Syam was social, humanistic, cultural, religious, and psychological. The approach used was a synergy between religious, moral, psychological, theological, cultural, social, and educational approaches. Meanwhile, the actualization channels used are through social channels, cultural arts, propaganda, social media, silaturrahim (hospitality in Islam), education levels, and scientific meetings.</p>

Self-actualization is a person's desire to use all of his abilities to achieve whatever they want and can be done by developing the potential that exists within an individual. Self-actualization of an individual can be formed from the surrounding environment and various kinds of increasingly advanced technological developments. In this digital era, it is encouraging millennials to use social media as a platform to actualize themselves and one of them is Tiktok. Tiktok Tiktok is a social media that accompanies videos or images with various types of music. The research method used in this research is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of one's social media in building the expected self-image in social media uses the Dramaturgy theory of American sociologist Erving Goffman.Aktualisasi diri adalah keinginan seseorang untuk menggunakan semua kemampuan dirinya untuk mencapai apapun yang mereka mau dan bisa dilakukan dengan mengembangkan potensi yang ada di dalam diri seorang individu. Aktualisasi diri seorang individu dapat terbentuk dari lingkungan sekitar dan berbagai macam perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju. Di jaman yang sudah serba digital ini mendorong generasi millenial dalam menggunakan media sosial sebagai platform untuk mengaktualisasi diri mereka dan salah satunya adalah Tiktok. Tiktok Tiktok merupakan media sosial yang mengiringi video atau gambar dengan berbagai jenis music. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sosial media seseorang dalam membangun citra diri (image) yang di harapkan dalam sosial media dengan menggunakan teori Dramaturgi dari sosiolog Amerika Erving Goffman.

Article was aimed to clarify the young adult women’s experience as the victim of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) who have got married. Qualitative method was applied with phenomenological approach. Analyasis used Interpretative Phenomeniological Analysis (IPA). Data were compiled by semi structured interview having open-ended and non-directive interviews. The research indicates eight themes that can be grouped into two big groups, those are  experince before marriage and experience after marriage. Before marriage experience consists of “It’s just a game”, “ Guilty/self-hatred feeling ”, “Self-Punishment”, “Emotion Focused Coping: Lupain”. After marriage experience expresses “Flashback, ” “Leave me alone”, “Aku butuh cerita” dan “Life must go on”. The research’s findings hopefully will be useful for coubncellors, the spouses of CSA victims, and the other CSA  victims.

O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a maneira como se desenvolve o ensino e aprendizagem da língua nheengatu no Centro Municipal de Educação Escolar Indígena UkaUmbuesaraWakenaiAnumarehit (CemeeiWakenai), localizado na comunidade indígena Parque das Tribos, na cidade de Manaus. Para tanto, utiliza o método de pesquisa de campo, amparado pela técnica da entrevista semiestruturada. Os resultados apontam que o ensino no CemeeiWakenai se desenvolve em contexto multiétnico, com alunos de diversas etnias. Conclui que as práticas linguísticas em nheengatu representam para esses estudantes, indígenas citadinos, a sua reafirmação identitária e uma ferramenta de luta pelos seus direitos.TEACHING THE NHEENGATU LANGUAGE IN MANAUS URBAN VILLAGESAbstract The aim of this article is to discuss how to teach and learn the Nheengatu language develops at the Municipal Center for Indigenous School Education UkaUmbuesaraWakenaiAnumarehit (CemeeiWakenai), located in the indigenous community Parque das Tribos, in the city of Manaus. The field research method was used, supported by the semi-structured interview technique. The results demonstrate that teaching at CemeeiWakenai takes place in a multiethnic context, with students of different ethnicities. This article discusses the self-control of adolescents who memorize the Koran at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) Modern Islamic Boarding School 2 Yogyakarta. The research method used is a qualitative method of phenomenological approach through interviews with two subjects. The results of the study indicate that good self-control is very necessary for Al-Quran memorizing santri especially for teenagers who have many challenges. Challenges faced by the santri at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) 2 Yogyakarta Modern Islamic Boarding School, such as the influence of immorality and listening to music that is not Islamic in nature, can be overcome by cultivating self-motivation about the benefits of memorizing the Koran, repeating memorization, routinely listen to and read the Koran.Keywords: Self Control, Youth, Al-Quran
