In the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, human life is influenced by various of sophisticated technologies. One of them is social media that increasingly develop, and take some impacts in human life. The fact is there are some priests ignore their pastoral duty and this takes the result that the church is separated. Many of priests don’t live up to their calling as good shepherds. They cannot recognize the church members who entrusted to them by a bishop. This study focus on the influence of social media for a priest’s duty. The research method used in the issue is a qualitative method by using literature approach. I found out that a priest is a shepherd for members of catholic community. A priest ordained by a bishop to continue Christ duty. Social media can become a tool and an equipment for a priest to develop the spiritual life and ministry. The attendance of a priest is the presence Christ as a good shepherd for His sheeps.

The term ‘double predestination’ simply means that, just as God predestines some, but Education is something that is very important for human life, and this is a divine mandate. This study aims to determine the pattern of Christian education from time to time and its implementation in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach by reading, observing and analyzing literature sources on Christian education from time to time and its implementation in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The results show that the situations and conditions behind the presence of education differ from time to time, but the similarity is that God has appointed certain people as agents of education. Where the patterns that are applied are harmonized with the surrounding conditions.

Regarding the importance of exploring the use of social media to enhance English skill, this study investigated the use of social media to improve English skill of EFL learners especially non-English college students. The objective of this study was to find out in what ways social media can contribute to the improvement of EFL learners’ English skill. The research method employed in this study was descriptive qualitative method. In gaining data, this study used questionnaire and observation. The results showed that almost all respondents took advantage of social media to learn English. Some social media used were YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc. The respondents revealed that by the use of social media, their reading skill (97.3% of the respondents), their writing skill (94.6% of the respondents), their vocabulary mastery (91.9% of the respondents), their listening skill (89.2% of the respondents), their speaking skill (86.5% of the respondents), their grammar mastery (83.8% of the respondents) could be improved. Based on the findings of the study, it can be inferred that social media can contribute to the improvement of EFL learners’ English skill in many ways including reading skill, writing skill, vocabulary mastery, listening skill, speaking skill, and grammar mastery. Keywords:  EFL Learners, English Skill, Social Media

Social media becomes a space to express feelings and opinions freely. However, freedom of speech is now abused by internet citizens to freely express words that mean rude, blasphemous, insulting, or in language science called disfemism. This research aims to describe the form and function of disfemism in the comment column of kekeyi public figure's Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. The research data are words, phrases, and sentences containing disfemism in the comments column of the Instagram @rahmawatikekeyiputricantikka23 in July 2020. The data collection method uses the simak method with a recording technique—data collection techniques with documentation techniques. Data analysis uses the agih method with basic natural elements, substitution or substitution techniques, and removal techniques. Based on the results of this study found 279 data on disfemism. The found forms of disfemism are words, phrases, and phrases. The word disfemism form amounts to 90 data, the form of phrase disfemism amounts to 100 data, and the expression disfemism form amounts to 89 data. There are seven functions of disfemism found in this study, among them: (a) as an intermediary to express taboo or indecent things, (b) as a sign of dislike, hate, and disrespect, (c) as an intermediary to express anger or aggravation, (d) as a negative depiction of something, (e) as a means of insulting and mocking, (f) as a means of criticizing, and (g) as a means to exaggerate something and scold.

AbstractThis researchaims to describe mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudara. The object of this research mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudara. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis and data collection techniques with 2 techniques, namely reading and note taking. Based on the analysis of the research, it was found that the forms of words consisting of nouns (nouns), adjectives (adjectives), verbs (verbs), adverbs (adverbs). The various forms of phrase codes were also found in this research, namely noun phrases, verb phrases and adjective phrases.There are mixing code form of words consisting of mixed forms of noun code (nouns) instead of 7 nouns consisting of 6 Indonesian nouns and 1 English noun. The mixing code form of adjective found 8 adjectives consisting of 6 Indonesian adjectives, 6 Indonesian adjectives and 2 English adjectives. The mixing code form of verbs (11 verbs), 11 verbs consisting of 6 Indonesian verbs, 5 verbs in English. The form of a mixture of adverb code that is 3 Indonesian adverb languages. The results of the research mixing code form of the post of facebook account Meme Manado Basudaraalso found mixed forms of phrase codes including 1 English noun phrase, 1 English verb phrase and 1 English adjective phrase.Keywords : mixed code, social media, ,meme

The church is always determined to serve the people of its time, and also to keep abreast of the times with its ways. The development of the technological age that is seen, one of them is the internet that provides various kinds of social networks. Facebook is one of the social networks used in everyday life and influences the user. Based on the background above, the researcher can formulate a number of problem formulations as follows: What is meant by Facebook? What is meant by spiritual life? What is the influence using of Facebook on the spiritual life of students in STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun? This study aims to describe the meaning of Facebook; describe the meaning of spiritual life, describe the influence using of Facebook on spiritual life of students in STKIP Widya Yuwana. This study used a qualitative method by collecting data through interviews with 8 respondents. Qualitative research is an open interview as an effort to examine and understand the attitudes, views, feelings and behavior of individuals or groups of people on a problem. Qualitative methods are as a form of research that is more focused on efforts to see, understand attitudes, feelings, views and behaviors both individually and in groups regarding an event.

<p>Not many Kiai have thoughts about multiculturalism. Kiai M. Sholeh Bahruddin and Kiai Abdullah Syam are considered unique because they have multicultural Islamic thoughts and actualize them in building community harmony. This paper aimed to explore the basis, approach, and channel of Islamic actualization in responding to various challenges. The research method used was the qualitative method with a symbolic interaction approach. The data collection procedures were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed by following the steps suggested by Saldana, Miles, and Huberman (2013). This study found that the basis for the actualization of multicultural Islamic thoughts of Kiai M. Sholeh Bahruddin and Kiai Abdullah Syam was social, humanistic, cultural, religious, and psychological. The approach used was a synergy between religious, moral, psychological, theological, cultural, social, and educational approaches. Meanwhile, the actualization channels used are through social channels, cultural arts, propaganda, social media, silaturrahim (hospitality in Islam), education levels, and scientific meetings.</p>

Abstract: In response to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, where information technology has become the basis of human life, houses of worship can also take advantage of advances in information technology to provide optimal services to their congregants. Community service activities aim to build the website of the GKPI Jemaat Khusus Perumnas II Mandala Church. The method or stage of implementation of the service starts from the preparation stage, the implementation phase, the implementation phase and the report preparation stage. The results of the implementation of the service is the availability of a website-based information system in the Church of GKPI Jemaat Khusus Perumnas II Mandala that can be utilized in providing services in the form of delivering news information, announcements and announcements of church activities that have been carried out or will be carried out. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk membangun website Gereja GKPI Jemaat Khusus Perumnas II Mandala. Metode atau tahapan pelaksanaan pengabdian dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap implementasi dan tahap pembuatan laporan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah tersedianya system informasi berbasis website di Gereja GKPI Jemaat Khusus Perumnas II Mandala yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam memberikan pelayanan dalam bentuk penyampaian informasi berita, pengumuman dan pemberitahuan aktifitas-aktifitas kegiatan gereja yang telah dilaksanakan maupun yang akan dilaksanakan. <p>There are some Indonesian local wisdom that have not been promoted yet. Consequently, some people will not access them due to less promotion. Hence, Indonesian should keep all of the local wisdoms in appropriate ways. One of the ways is by using promotion the local wisdom through youtube. This paper explores the promotion of Indonesian local wisdom through social media particularly YouTube and the values of local wisdom. It used a qualitative method. Data were primarily collected through documentation of eight videos created and uploaded into YouTube by the students in the department of Islamic broadcasting and communication from the fifth semester at state Islamic Institute of Kudus. The result reveals that social media have been beneficial for promoting the local wisdom especially in Central Java. Indeed, social media offers flexibility and mobility for people in uploading the videos of Indonesian local wisdom into YouTube, it offers an opportunity to expand the Indonesian local wisdom through widespread social networking around the world and fostering their innovation of making amazing videos and contents. The values of local wisdom include beliefs and religion, Indonesian local culture and traditions, local food promotion and business production, Indonesian architecture and heritage, nature and environment preservation.</p>

<p><em>The development of technology in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 has a comprehensive impact into aspects of life, one of which is in the learning of history. The use of electronic media for historical learning needs has begun to be encouraged in various schools. Conventional historical learning is usually still one-way, or in other words still teaching oriented. Thus with the development of technology and to meet the needs of the times, learning media needs to be used in order to improve the quality of learning. In addition, with the use of learning media, it is expected that students have an interest in participating more in historical learning. This research tries to review the use of digital comic learning media in the subjects of Indonesian History in class X- MIA 3 senior high school Al-Izzah Kota Batu. The research method used a descriptive qualitative method.</em></p>

Abstract. Church growth can be achieved through church’s member migration, biological growth, and also evangelistic missions. For certain churches, evangelistic missions are not only one way to increase the number of congregations, but are seen as part of the fulfillment of the Great Commission. The purpose of this study was to describe the role of missionary evangelism in church growth. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Through this research, it was obtained that the mission of evangelism is an effective means of increasing church growth. The mission of evangelism could be carried out with various strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of the community around the church to be able to deliver the gospel effectively.Abstract. Pertumbuhan gereja dapat dicapai melalui perpindahan jemaat, pertambahan secara biologis, maupun misi penginjilan. Bagi gereja tertentu misi penginjilan bukan hanya sebagai salah satu cara untuk menambah jumlah jemaat, namun dipandang sebagai bagian penemuhan Amanat Agung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan gambaran peranan misi penginjilan terhadap pertumbuhan gereja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Melalui penelitian ini diperoleh gambaran bahawa misi penginjilan adalah sarana yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan gereja. Misi penginjilan tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai strategi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik masyarakat di sekitar gereja untuk dapat menyeberangkan Injil secara efektif.
