Objective: to map the services offered in the city of Agudo, RS, designed for people with disabilities and present Occupational Therapy'contributions  to this population. Data collection took place in the period from August to October 2014, which was carried out in three stages: identification of health services offered to people with disabilities; interview with managers of these services; and a survey of the number of people with physical and motor disabilities using the services. Following those steps, the data about the city were cross-checked with the secondary data reported by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), from their census of 2010. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) opened the doors to access and enhanced the civil rights of people with disabilities. However, a lack of accessibility to all segments of society continues throughout the United States and is frequently described by people with disabilities as a leading cause for limited participation. Beliefs and attitudes regarding disability can affect critical decisions regarding inclusion and people with disabilities’ civil rights. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore support and opposition to the ADA among nondisabled people. We had the following research questions: (a) What is the relationship between disability prejudice and support for the ADA? and (b) When controlling for disability prejudice, what other factors lead people to support the ADA? To do so, we examined secondary data from approximately 13,000 participants from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Findings from this study revealed that people who oppose the ADA are significantly more prejudiced toward people with disabilities than people who support the ADA. Understanding and becoming aware of attitudes and prejudice toward persons with disabilities can be a first step toward dispelling such beliefs and possibly a priori step to achieving the intent and spirit of the ADA.

All of them play a role in data collection activities which include focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using interactive data analysis techniques. In the last three years, the number of people with disabilities in Central Lampung has increased. However, the increase in the number of people with disabilities in Central Lampung is due to the expansion of the meaning and scope of disabilities in Indonesia regulation. The increasing demand for space, especially for settlements and built-up land, has an impact on the declining environmental quality of the area. The Spatial Plan that has been made is not able to prevent land conversion in urban areas so that the existence of Green Open Space (RTH) is increasingly threatened and the city is increasingly uncomfortable for activities, especially for joint activities. This study will discuss the "Identification of the Use of Green Open Land for the Development of Culinary Areas in Pluit, North Jakarta". The purpose of this study is to determine the availability of green open space in North Jakarta, as well as to find out the existence of matters concerning the misuse of green open space in Pluit, North Jakarta based on local regulations governing Green Open Space. The method used in this analysis is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the availability of green open land in North Jakarta is only about 5% of the total area, this percentage is still far from meeting the provisions of the law which stipulates that the proportion of green open space in urban areas must reach 30%. The development of the culinary area in Pluit has several violations such as Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning, which only provides 11% open space, Regional Regulation no. 8 of 2007 concerning Public Order in DKI Jakarta in article 36, because it builds a culinary area adjacent to the High Voltage Air Line (SUTET) and there are buildings that stand on Green Open Land.

In light of the challenges that all cities face today, food is offered as a prism through which to read and intervene on various areas that affect the quality of life of the population: circular economy, urban metabolism, social relations, economies, and food quality. In the Roman context, in recent years, numerous initiatives have revitalized the debate on food and brought the discussion to the center of the interest of an ever-increasing number of citizens. However, these experiences appear unrelated and there is a lack of coordination and political coherence. Faced with this evidence, starting from a territorial analysis, this contribution analyzes the process that led a local group of stakeholders to formulate a proposal for a food policy for the city of Rome. The proposal contains a series of possible actions that aim, on the one hand, to recompose the relations between the city and its territory, with a view to re-localization and re-territorialization of agro-food productions and, on the other hand, to reconnect the economic and social relations that the industrialization of food chains has compromised. The network analysis of the bottom-up process, which mainly investigates networking and negotiation skills between various interests, is carried out and related to a careful analysis of the food system in the Roman context. Furthermore, an overview of the state of the art of urban food policies in Italy has been provided to better contextualize the study case. The findings show actors and topics involved in the process, identifying further development towards a more comprehensive participatory process for a systemic food strategy at the metropolitan level.
