ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to find a portrait of optimizing the development of principals, including: Teacher competence; Teacher discipline; and Responsibility of teachers at Vocational High School PGRI Citeureup Bogor. Next is to find out the form of strategy undertaken by the principal in improving teacher competence. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers and all staff at SMK PGRI Citeureup Bogor. To reflect the results of the study found: a portrait of optimizing the development of school principals in improving teacher competence is very harmonious. All teachers greatly increase competence when seen in implementing the rules, discipline, and responsibility towards their profession as a teacher. As for the form of the principal's strategy in increasing teacher competency in SMK PGRI Citeureup using formal and informal strategies, namely: involving teachers in seminars, training, conducting supervision, promoting discipline and motivating teachers from the principal to motivate teachers to improve improvements in educational innovation as tangible form of developing teacher competence. It is expected that principals can provide encouragement and coaching in teacher performance regarding competence, discipline and teacher responsibility in an effective and efficient manner so as to improve performance both professionally or by teacher competence in schools.Keywords: Optimization, Coaching, School Principals, And Teacher Competencies.

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership in improving the quality of SMP IT Nurul Fadhillah, the constraints of the principal's leadership in improving the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah, and the principal's efforts to improve the quality of schools at SMP IT Nurul Fadhilah. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and the techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Ensuring the validity of research data uses credibility, transfibility, dependability and conformability. The results of this research are the principal's leadership in improving the quality of education by caring for subordinates, assertiveness, democracy, and supervision. The obstacles faced by school principals in improving the quality of schools are the lack of educational facilities and infrastructure. As for the efforts made by the principal in improving the quality of education, namely developing teacher competence, meeting the needs of school stakeholders and getting used to working together in overcoming problems.

Abstrak: Ajaran Islam membimbing umat manusia agar sukses dunia dan selamat di akhirat, seimbang antara keduanya. Karenanya, dibutuhkan pembekalan integratif agar peserta didik menguasai ilmu keduanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola dan kendala integrasi kompetensi spiritual dalam pembelajaran IPA yang dihadapi guru IPA di lingkungan Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian difokuskan pada upaya  integrasi ayat-ayat Kauniyah ke dalam mata pelajaran IPA (Biologi, Fisika dan Kimia) di Madrasah Aliyah di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren-Jombang-Jawa Timur. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menjawab permasalahan: Problematika apa yang dihadapi Madrasah Aliyah di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren dalam melaksanakan integrasi kompetensi spiritual dalam pembelajaran IPA? Serta bagaimana pola integrasi kompetensi spiritual dilakukan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran IPA di Madrasah Aliyah?. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunujukan bahwa dalam pemahaman ayat-ayat kauniyah dan IPA saling membutuhkan, sehingga perlu dilakukan sintesis simbiotik. Di sisi lain terdapat kendala yang dihadapi guru dan Madrasah Aliyah, berupa kompetensi guru, sistem regulasi, metodologi pembelajaran, dan bahan ajar yang tersedia.  Kata Kunci: Integrasi, Kompetensi Spiritual, Pembelajaran IPA   Abstract: Islamic teachings guide mankind to the success of the world and salvation in the afterlife, in a balance. Therefore, it requires the students to have an integrative debriefing to master both. This study aims to determine the patterns and constraints of the integration of spiritual competence to the teaching and learning of science subjects in the Madrasah Aliyah. The research focused on the integration of Kauniyah passages into science subjects (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) at Madrasah Aliyah in Pondok Pesantren -Jombang-East Java. This research questions are; first, what are the problems of Madrasah Aliyah in Pondok Pesantren in integrating spiritual competence and since subjects? Second, how is the integration format of spiritual competence and science subject at Madrasah Madrasah Aliyah?. The research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach, in which the data were collected through in-depth interview, questionnaires, observation, and documentations method. The research shows thatthe two, the Kauniyah passages and Natural Science are understood as a mutual need, or a symbiotic synthesis. There are constraints faced by teachers and educational institutions, in integrating both. School accreditation from the government is an evaluation that must be passed by every unit of education in Indonesia based on the standards set by the Badan Akreditasi Nasional/Madrasah. School accreditation is not just a requirement that must be met just for formality, but it is an effort to improve school quality. However, the large number of administrative documents that must be completed by schools for accreditation plus the number of teachers’ workloads resulted in teachers viewing school accreditation as an additional work burden. The purpose of this research is to analyze teacher's perception and commitment to the accreditation of XYZ School in Depok, West Java as well as obstacles experienced during accreditation. This is the focus of research because teachers' perceptions and commitments are keys to realize a smooth accreditation process with satisfactory results. This research use qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was done by interview method to two school principals and 12 teachers of XYZ School, supported by questionnaire. The results showed that teachers' perceptions of school accreditation is fairly good, but commitment to accreditation were moderate. The constraints experienced by teachers in accreditation were also considered moderate.   Akreditasi sekolah dari pemerintah merupakan evaluasi yang harus dilalui tiap satuan pendidikan di Indonesia berdasarkan standar yang ditetapkan oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Sekolah/Madrasah. Akreditasi sekolah ini bukanlah sekedar persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi tanpa tujuan, tetapi merupakan suatu upaya meningkatkan kualitas sekolah. Di sisi lain, banyaknya dokumen administratif yang harus dilengkapi sekolah untuk akreditasi ditambah banyaknya load kerja guru mengakibatkan guru memandang akreditasi sekolah hanya sebagai beban pekerjaan tambahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis persepsi dan komitmen guru, terhadap akreditasi Sekolah XYZ di Depok, Jawa Barat beserta kendala yang dialami selama akreditasi. Hal ini menjadi fokus penelitian dikarenakan persepsi dan komitmen guru menjadi kunci yang sangat penting bagi pihak Sekolah XYZ untuk mewujudkan proses akreditasi yang lancar dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara kepada 2 orang kepala sekolah dan 12 orang guru Sekolah XYZ yang didukung dengan kuesioner. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap akreditasi sekolah termasuk cukup baik, tetapi dan komitmen guru tergolong sedang. Sedangkan kendala yang dialami guru dalam akreditasi juga dinilai sedang.

This study aims to describe the public relations strategy in building the image of madrasas to become superior madrasahs in Malang City. This research was conducted in MAN 1 Malang City. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, and in data collection researchers used interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The main subjects in this study are public relations, school principals, teachers and students. The results of this research are: 1) Public Relations publishes activities to be carried out by MAN 1 Malang City and the achievements achieved by MAN 1 Malang City to the community through online media 2) Public Relations collaborates with government agencies, education and non-educational institutions 3) Public Relations prepare high quality graduates in accordance with the vision of MAN 1 Malang City, namely "The Realization of High Quality People in Science and Technology who are Humanist and Religious.

This study aims to explore the pivotal role of the school principal in escalating his/her capacity as a supervisor. Supervision constitutes one of the principal’s duties that needs to be carried out for the purpose of supervising, evaluating performance, guiding, and motivating teachers to be able to make improvements, maintain teaching quality, and organize a better learning process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this library research. The findings demonstrate the roles that principals take to maximize their role as a supervisor. Firstly, the principals should be able to understand the nature of supervision. This indicates that this re-understanding aims to enhance the process of supervision and guidance to teachers so as to improve the quality of their performance and teaching processes. Secondly, principals should be able to adapt and adopt various approaches to the implementation of supervision. The application in the supervision approach can be noticed in the exchange of information between principals and teachers, including the quality of learning. Thirdly, school principals should be able to increase human resources. The improvement should be carried out systematically and continuously through professional development. This illustrates that the principals’ role as a supervisor is very essential to promote the professionalism of teachers and educational staff.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap jalannya penyelenggaraan program keahlian keperawatan di tingkat sekolah menengah  kejuruan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi mengguna-kan pendekatan dekriptif kualitatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kurikulum, wakil kepala sarana dan prasarana, ketua program keahlian keperawatan, bursa kerja khusus, guru keperawatan, dan pegawai tata usaha. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitianini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan  studi dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini mengunakan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Validasi data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen context dalam kategori baik, komponen input dalam kategori baik, komponen process dalam kategori baik tetapi terdapat beberapa kendala, komponen product dalam kategori cukup karena tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditentukan yaitu jumlah kesesuaian kerja lulusan kurang dari 50%. AbstractThis research aims to analyze the implementation of the nursing skills program at the vocational high school level. The type of research is evaluation research using a qualitative descriptive approach with the CIPP evaluation model. The subjects in this research were the headmaster, deputy head of curriculum, deputy head of facilities and infrastructure, head of nursing expertise program, special job fair, nursing teachers, and administrative staff. The research data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data validation uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed the context component was in the good category, the input component was in a good category, Process components are in good category but there are some constraints, while the product component in the sufficient category because it does noit meet the specified criteria, the amount of work suitability of graduates is less 50%.

This study aimed to determine the use of spatial and temporal deixis that used in narrative essays written by X grade students Wira Buana 2 Vocational High School. This study use qualitative descriptive approach followed by content analysis technique. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, there are as many as 130 usage of spatial and temporal deixis findings. These findings consist of 66 findings of spatial deixis (50.77%) and 64 findings of temporal deixis (49.23%). This result indicate that the use of spatial and temporal deixis are equally dominant in narrative essays written by X grade students of Wira Buana 2 Vocational High School.

Research is an Analysis Related to Training Materials ". The background of this research is a question that always arises from stakeholders about the existence of education and training (Training) both in terms of Substantive Technical Subject Based Education (Mapel) and Non-Mapel in increasing the professionalism of madrasah teachers. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with survey and interview methods. The formulation of the problem is "Can Substantive Technical Education for Subject Based Education or Non-Subject Education Can Improve Madrasah Teacher Professionalism?" The results showed that the Substantive Technical Training of subject teachers can only improve the professional competence of teachers related to the mastery of content or teaching material, structure, concepts and scientific thought patterns that support the subjects being taught. Whereas Non-Subject Substantive Technical Training can improve teacher competence in terms of professional and methodological development. To increase teacher professionalism that is intact both in the formulation of content, learning methodology and also competence in terms of ongoing professionalism and reflective action must go through both the Training which is subject based and non-subject.

Generally, school success can be seen from the output. Evidently, Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Blitar is able to produce superior graduate quality, good personality and have skills in the world of work. Theoretically, the success of this school is not independent of the teacher's ability to implement learning strategies. And Blitar 1 Vocational School teachers have that expertise. However, inequality actually occurs in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The method used for the past two years is the mind mapping method using the Moodle Application. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach by looking at research objects in a natural setting. This study uses instruments on the ability of researchers because, in qualitative research, researchers are key instruments. Data mining techniques used interviews, observation and documentation in the field. The result is described using words in accordance with the focus of the study. Research settings in SMK I Blitar with informants, Religion Teachers, Head of Curriculum, Principal, Superintendent and graduates. The results of this study, the researchers concluded, as follows: [1] learning using the Moodle application is considered effective, because children can learn and do assignments from home without face-to-face with the teacher; [2] learning methods with mind mapping make it easier for students to learn, especially in Islamic Religious Education.
