This study aimed to determine the use of spatial and temporal deixis that used in narrative essays written by X grade students Wira Buana 2 Vocational High School. This study use qualitative descriptive approach followed by content analysis technique. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, there are as many as 130 usage of spatial and temporal deixis findings. These findings consist of 66 findings of spatial deixis (50.77%) and 64 findings of temporal deixis (49.23%). This result indicate that the use of spatial and temporal deixis are equally dominant in narrative essays written by X grade students of Wira Buana 2 Vocational High School.

Some of the problems faced by students in learning English are speech acts. This research focused on finding the speech acts. This study aims to get an overview of humor speech acts of the big bang theory. The qualitative descriptive approach will be used along with the content analysis technique. The result shows that: (1) there are three parts of speech acts used, including locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary acts, (2) there is a violation of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner maxim. However, the most violation maxim was at the quantity maxim, (3) the screenwriters intentionally create a dialogue with several principles’ violations of speech acts, team-works, and humor categories. It can be concluded that the speech acts humor of the big bang theory screenwriters intentionally made some mistakes to create humor to raise up the jocularity atmosphere that can be enjoyed by the viewers. It is expected that this research can enrich the knowledge as regard the linguistic phenomena especially those which are related to speech acts.

ABSTRACT This research aims to evaluate the completeness level of equipments standard of engineering elevtrical power’s installation in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School, which was ruled in the Ministry of Education’s rules No. 1 2019 and The National Standardization Agency of Indonesia No. 1103-P2-18/19 about the Verification Instruments of Vocational High School, The Organizer of Vocational Practice Exam 2018/2019.This is an evaluative research using a quantitative descriptive approach. The evaluative model used was a discrepancy evaluation model, which was developed by M. Provus. The variable in this research is the equipment of electricity power’s installation practice in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School Bekasi. The methods of collecting the data were three types: observation method, documentation, and interviews. The instrument used was collecting the data using observation paper and list of matched documentation. The analysis technique used in this research is rating scale.The result shows that the reaching of equipment of  elecrical power installation practice in Taruna Bangsa Vocational High School Bekasi in academic year of 2018/2019  was categorized as complete with the 89,36%. percentages. The completeness was reviewed from the equipments in practice room as complete (88.5%), the equipments of learning media room is complete (100%), the main equipment of practice is complete (93%), and for the main substance of practice room is complete (88.2%),also for the equipment support is compelete (77.1%). ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat kelengkapan standar peralatan praktik teknik instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi yang diatur dalam Permendiknas No. 1 tahun 2019 dan Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan No. 1103-P2-18/19 mengenai Instrumen Verifikasi SMK Tentang Penyelenggara Ujian Praktik Kejuruan Tahun 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi kesenjangan (discrepancy evaluation model) yang dikembangkan oleh M. Provus. Variabel penelitian ini adalah peralatan praktik teknik instalasi tenaga listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada tiga macam, yaitu metode observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan daftar cocok dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rating scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketercapaian kelengkapan peralatan praktik teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK Taruna Bangsa Bekasi pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dikategorikan sangat lengkap dengan persentase 89,36%. Kelengkapan di tinjau dari perabotan ruang praktik  yaitu 88.5% (sangat lengkap), media pembelajaran ruang praktik 100% (sangat lengkap), peralatan utama praktik 93% (sangat lengkap), bahan utama ruang praktik 88.2% (sangat lengkap) dan peralatan pendukung ruang praktik 77.1% (lengkap).

<p>This research examines the underlying motive of CSR implementation and design, according to maqasid al-sharia. A qualitative descriptive approach was used to obtain primary data through interviews with 5 CSR informants. Secondary data was collected from the public company’s annual report on the IDX in 2019. Data was sampled and examined using purposive and content analysis technique. The results showed that there are 2 motives in CSR, specifically social and economic. Furthermore, the economic motive is more dominant and expects provision of monetary feedback. Consequently, CSR becomes less effective and most programs do not follow the real stakeholders’ needs. The dignity of CSR needs to be regained by implementing maqasid al-sharia dimensions. There are 2 approaches used to implement CSR, including a support system that utilizes pressure. The transcendental approach initiates corporate actors through religious values from maqasid al-sharia, making the implementation more humanist and stakeholder-oriented.</p>

This study aimed to examine and explain the passages or propositions for the inquiry of veil use, some opinions of leading scholars, and to correct or refute some weak and controversial statements and interpretations related to veil and its law. This research employed qualitative-descriptive approach with content analysis technique and library research. The result shows that the veil is prescribed in Islam. This is based on the word of Allah in the Quran surah Al-Ahzab verse 59 which is interpreted by commentators among the companions and tabi'in as a command to cover the face. In the long story of ‘ifk, it is also mentioned that Aisyah covered her face. The scholars of schools (Hanafiyyah, Malikiyyah, Syafiiyyah, and Hanabilah), even though they disagree whether covering the face is obligatory or sunnah, they agree that veil is something recommended, specifically at the time when it is feared of triggering tribulation in society due to showing off the faces of women. Some commentators also hold that they must cover their faces as they emphasize in their commentaries. Some interpretations or statements related to veil as well as its law are weak. For example, the interpretation that the use of veil that prevailed in Arab societies was a tradition for certain societies is such a fallacious statement. Considering the existing history, the previous Arab communities which were commonly called the jahiliyyah community were ignorant about covering, let alone the veil.

This research aimed to analyze Speaking material in English textbook based on 2013 Curriculum for The First Grade Student at Vocational High 4 Makassar. The research method of this research was qualitative descriptive. The object of this research consists of English textbook and focus with Speaking material for the first grade based on 2013 Curriculum. The sample of the research was taken by using Checklist. To know how the relevancy the English textbook with 2013 curriculum that have been dealing with government. The researcher using 2 checklist the first was table to know the relation between speaking material in syllabus of 2013 curriculum and the second was table documentary checklist table to know how the relevance of materials to the curriculum criteria, and the result of the research showed by percentages. Having analyzed the data and the rubric scoring tabulation of this research, it was found that the degree of suitability of Buku Bahasa Inggris an English text book used by First grade students of Vocational High School was 75%. The Researcher concluded that the textbook were logic and can be implemented as a learning source in the classroom. Although it still needs some revision to make it better. During the researcher doing this research, actually the researcher does not face a problem, because the researcher just analyzing and collecting the data by checklist so, the researcher could does this research have done.

This study aims to improve the long jump technique through conventional methods. This research is action research. The research subjects were students of class X.TK.1 at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar, which consisted of 30 female students and the analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the recapitulation between cycles after the implementation of conventional methods in the second cycle shows that the long jump technique in students of class X.TK.1 in SMK Negeri 6 Makassar has an increase, it is shown from the results in cycle I there are 6 students (20.0% ) on a scale of 4 (good) and increased to 12 students (40.0%), so that an increase of 20.0% (40.0% - 20.0%). Likewise on the value scale 3 (medium category) shows that in the first cycle there were 7 students (23.3%) and increased to 18 students (60.0%) so that there was an increase of 36.7% (60.0% - 23, 3%). Thus it can be concluded that through the conventional method carried out in the second cycle had an increase of 56.7% (20.0% + 36.7%) in the long jump technique in students of class X.TK.1 at the SMK Negeri 6 Makassar. The results of the study concluded that: there was an increase in the long jump technique through conventional methods in class X.TK.1 students at Makassar State Vocational High School 6.

<em>The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze about: 1) Principal planning in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in the 1 Kademangan Vocational High School (SMKN). 2) The process of organizing school principals in applying multicultural Islamic religious education at 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. 3) Implementation Procedure of the principal in developing multicultural Islamic religious education at 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. 4) Control of principals in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study focuses on managerial competencies of principals in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. For data collection techniques, researchers conduct interviews, documentation and direct observation. While the analysis of the data used in this study is the data analysis technique of the Spradley model or better known as Cyclic mode. The results found by researchers in the field are planning processes, goals must be made clearly because it is used as a guideline for activities that reinforce the direction and effort of activities and facilitate in obtaining the support of resources and competencies in both the organization and the environment. Organizing is organized on the basis of predetermined objectives and formal formal mechanisms in the organizational structure that reflect the needs and optimization of existing resources in a good organization. At the stage of implementing the communication skills of the school principal also determines the course of effective management. The supervision process becomes an important part that is directly related to considering changes in procedures, policies, and even organizational goals.</em>

Kajian ini membahas wacana iklan jasa boga dalam media luar ruang. Iklan merupakan sebuah sarana yang dipandang efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi. Iklan jasa boga menarik untuk dikaji karena memperlihatkan kekhasan dalam pemakaian bahasa. Kajian bertujuan mendeskripsikan slot-slot wacana jasa boga dan strategi pembentuk slot atau pengisi slot pada iklan jasa boga di media luar ruang. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural dan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi. Peneliti mengamati secara langsung iklan-iklan media luar ruang di DIY. Observasi menerapkan teknik simak dan rekam visual. Metode dan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab permasalahan ialah metode agih dengan teknik sisip dan balik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wacana iklan boga menghasilkan empat jenis slot. Slot nama dapat berbentuk (1) akronim, (2) singkatan, (2) nama diri, dan (4) nama lokasi. Slot spesifikasi dapat bersifat menyangatkan atau mengedepankan kekhasan daerah. Slot atribusi menyiratkan bentuk slogan. Slot alamat berisi keterangan alamat rumah dan nomor telepon. Aspek permainan bahasa berkenaan dengan penyimpangan ejaan, yaitu pemakaian huruf kapital dan penulisan kata.This study discusses about food service advertisement discourse on outdoor media. Advertisement is one of effective facility in delivering information. The advertisement is interesting to study for its particularity in language use. The study aims to describe discourse plots on food service and strategy to form plot or plot insert on advertisement of food service on outdoor media. This study uses structural and qualitative descriptive approach. This study uses observation mode by observing directly to outdoor advertisement media in DIY. The observation uses listening and visual recording. Method and analysis technique to answer the problem is distributional using inserting and reversing technique. The result shows that food service discourse produces four types of slots as (1) acronym, (2) abbreviation, (3) self name, and (4) location name. Specification slot emphasizes locality particularity. Atritributive slot shows slogan form. Address slot contains description of house address and telephone number. Language playing aspect is dealing with spelling split, that is alphabetical use and word writing.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong produk kebijakan pendidikan Pemda Kota Mataram dalam mengembangkan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) implementasi penyelenggaraan kebijakan pendidikan SMK yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK. Informan kunci pada penelitian adalah Kepala Dinas Dikmen sub-bagian kepala seksi kurikulum, Kepala Sekolah, Wakasek Humas Industri, Pembimbing Industri, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peran DUDI dalam mendorong kebijakan Pemda terkait pengembangan SMK berbasis kearifan lokal belum memadai; (2) implementasi kebijakan Pemda, antara lain: (a) monitoring dan evaluasi, (b) menyediakan unit gedung baru, (c) membuka kompetensi keahlian baru, (d) pemberian dana, (e) mengadakan Gebyar SMK se-Kota Mataram; dan (3) peran DUDI dalam pengembangan SMK antara lain: (a) penyelenggaraan prakerin siswa berjalan dengan baik. b) industri sebagai tempat pemagangan guru, c) industri terlibat dalam uji kompetensi siswa tingkat akhir dan tempat menyalurkan lulusan, d) belum ada kerja sama terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan e) pengembangan kurikulum dalam bentuk workshop kurikulum. Kata kunci: peran DUDI, penyelenggaraan SMK, kearifan lokal THE ROLE OF BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (VHS) BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM IN THE CITY OF MATARAM Abstract This research aims to know: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the product education policy of the local government in Mataram City for developing vocaational high school (VHS) based on local wisdom; (2) the implementation of VHS education policy with an appropriate local wisdom; and (3) the role of business and industry in developing VHS. The key informants in this research were the Head of Secondary Education Curriculum Sub-section, Principal, Vice Principal of Industry Public Relations, Industry Counsellors, and students. The data were collected by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique included data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the role of business and industry in encouraging the regional government policy related to VHS development based on local wisdom had not been adequate; (2) the implementation of regional government policy were among others: (a) monitoring and evaluation, (b) providing a new building unit, (c) opening new expertise competencies, (d) providing funds, (e) conducting Gebyar SMK in the city of Mataram; and (3) the roles of business and industry in the development of VHS were among others: (a) the implementation of the students’ industrial practice ran well, (b) the industry as the place for teachers’ apprenticeship, (c) the industry was involved in students’ competency test at the end of the students’ study and as an institute which would recruit the graduates, d) there had not been any cooperation related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure, and e) curriculum development in the form of a curriculum workshop. This study aims to describe the suitability of the RPP with the Learning Implementation Process, the suitability of the RPP made by teachers with the 2013 Curriculum, and the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing the RPP. Data collection using, documentation, observation, interviews and then data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that the percentage of completeness of the RPP components of Vocational High School Business Management in Padang with the Curriculum Component of the 2013 RPP is 97.01%, the percentage of the suitability of the RPP with the implementation of learning is 27.7%, 27.8%, 30.4%,36 , 2% and 41.7%. this means that the teacher is not competent in carrying out the lesson plans when implementing learning in the classroom. The obstacles faced by teachers are lack of time, IT like Infocus is also inadequate in schools and lack of source books.Keywords: learning implementation plan, learning implementation process, curriculum 2013
