The SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic has emerged as one of the greatest problems of the 21st century worldwide. Efforts to fight this pandemic require a global co-operation and a multidisciplinary approach. An application of information and communication technologies (ICT) to a great degree contributes to fighting the pandemic as these technologies are one of the key services that assist patients, researchers, health institutions and other interested parties in different activities in an effort to fight the pandemic and its consequences. The present paper presents the features of certain mobile applications (apps) that are being used for different purposes such as: tracking patients, COVID-19-related warnings, keeping tracks of statistical data, organising life and business, etc. Aside from presenting the features of a certain number of applications, a review of technologies used for the development of these applications will also be presented. Globalization has had and still has a comprehensive effect on all aspects of human life, including the part related to sports and recreation. Through the spread of information and communication technologies, especially new channels of information dissemination (such as social networks), but also the process of internationalization, liberalization, and modernization - it has enabled the availability of sports competitions, and the general presence of sports in all parts of the world. This is especially true of football as one of the most popular sports. This paper will try to provide a geographical and global framework for football change based on specific economic and financial data related to sponsors, branding, etc., through a case study of the English Premiership (also known as Premier League) compared to other football leagues in Europe (German Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1, the so-called Big Five). The paper presents three hypotheses to which the research of available literature and statistical data will try to answer. Through all the above mentioned, the research aims to determine whether and to what extent football has become a global sport by going beyond national frameworks and to what extent it has transformed itself in these modern and global frameworks.

In the modern knowledge–information age, various information and communication technologies provide us with many benefits and at the same time, bring various side effects such as cybercrime. The number of cybercrimes is increasing gradually, and in particular, the number of digital sex crimes has been increasing recently. In addition, digital sex crimes are becoming increasingly violent, so national measures are needed. In this study, statistical data at the national level were used to investigate the overall characteristics of digital sex crimes in Korea. First, statistical analysis shows that the victims are mainly women in their teens and 20s. Typical types of digital sex crimes are distribution of illegal contents and illegal filming, the perpetrators are mainly unknown, and digital sex crimes were less often recognized by others and more often by the victims themselves. Based on these results, countermeasures against various digital sex crimes are suggested.

The objective of the work was to analyze the quality of the information resources of educational libraries. Methods: A user survey of ten educational libraries was conducted to achieve this objective. Results: It was found that representatives of different target groups visit libraries for different purposes. Students and pupils use the library mainly to carry necessary textbooks and books, communicate, attend events. Academics, lecturers / professors, use it not only to obtain the book, but also to check references and read new publications in the library, use electronic resources, as well as to work on research. Sometimes pupils and students often need the help of library staff, indicating a lack of information literacy. Scholars, lecturers / teachers, are often able to fend for themselves. Electronic resources are the most effective, according to respondents, but visitors to educational libraries also continue to use traditional resources. Conclusions: Research shows that to increase the efficiency and quality of information resources of educational libraries, employees should focus their efforts on improving the information literacy of library users, as well as demonstrating the values of the library, inform about library services and maintain using information and communication technologies.

The creation of a modern digital economy is the most important stage in the economic development of Russia and its territories. Digitalization of socio-economic processes significantly expands the opportunities of businesses, individual citizens and the state as a whole. However, the economic digital transformation is associated with the emergence of various risks and threats in the field of economic security, including those related to the inequality of Russian regions in terms of the possibilities of using information and communication technologies in practice. The article examines the essence of the concepts: digital economy, digital inequality. We identified the causes and problems of digital inequality in the territories of the Russian Federation and ways to solve these problems. The authors analyzed statistical data that characterize the international rating of the Russian Federation according to the four components of the global connectivity index, as well as a rating of individual regions of Russia on the level of access to digital technologies and communications. At the same time, we also studied such indicators as the amount of spending on innovations by the subjects of the Russian Federation, the share of the subscription fee for Internet access from the average (for the region) salary, and others. Based on the analysis, the authors of the article suggested ways to reduce the digital inequality of regions in modern Russia.
