The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the school literacy movement program in Cot Lheue Rheng Elementary School through Indonesian language lessons by utilizing the potential of local culture. This study uses descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques are observation and interview. The results of this study can be described that of the 5 steps in the stage of habituation of the school literacy movement in Cot Lheue Rheng Elementary School, not all steps can be taken to the full. Second, the implementation of the school literacy movement is limited to activities in the classroom. Third, the Neighborhood does not fully support this school literacy Movement program so the Environment does not provide source text as a reading. Fourth, the selection of reading books only through textbooks and assessment of community involvement has not been carried out optimally to support the school literacy movement program. PUEBI (Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia) is a guideline in the use of good and correct Indonesian Language. The use of Indonesian in everyday life often does not pay attention to the rules correctly. Many Indonesian language users are still confused about raw and non-standard words, punctuation, and so on. Actually PUEBI learning has been given from the elementary school level to the college level, but its application is still not appropriate in everyday life. Now, with increasingly rapid technological advancements, many applications can be used as media for learning, one of which is Instagram. Through Instagram, knowledge about PUEBI can be shared in the form of pictures or videos to make it more attractive. This study aims to reveal the role of Instagram as a medium in PUEBI learning. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through library research. The results of this study indicate that Instagram has an important role in PUEBI learning.

Sociolinguistics is the study of language variation and use in society. Interference is the event of the use of language elements of one into the other language elements that occur in the speakers themselves. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because to describe the actual realityin order to obtainan accurateand objective. Qualitative descriptive methods were used to analyzethe elements ofa word orphrase that incorporated elements of other languages with the analysis and description of the formulation of the problem is the answer. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, the determination ofthe object of research, the selection of short stories.Based on the analysis of the data in this study can be found that there are six forms of interference morphology, namely (1) the prefix nasal N-sound, (2) the addition of the suffix, (3) the exchange prefix, (4) exchange suffixes, (5) exchange konfiks, (6) removal affixes. While the syntactic interference only on the words and phrases in a sentence. The results of the study it can be concluded that the interference morphology more common than syntactic interference.

This study aims to develop big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 elementary school and to determine the feasibility of big book learning media. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the FOUR-D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminte) model. The data collection technique used is by using questionnaires and trials. The feasibility of big book learning media is obtained from the results of media validation and testing. Validation was carried out by material experts and learning media experts. The results of the research show that the validation of the material experts and the validation of the learning media experts are very valid. The trials used in this study were limited to 10 students and received a very good response. The results of this development research indicate that the big book media for learning Indonesian in grade 3 Elementary School is very suitable for use in learning in Elementary School.

Transferring meaning embedded by English idiom is not an easy way to do. The meaning contained by English Idiom cannot be comprehended by merely knowing the meaning from each word arranging the idiom. Dealing with English idiom in translation is quite hard because the translator has to transfer the meaning of English idiom into Bahasa Indonesia rightly. On the other hand, it is quite difficult to find the equivalence term in Bahasa Indonesia reflecting the same meaning as it is reflected in the source text. To manage this problem, the translation strategies need to be applied. This research focuses on analyzing the translation strategies used by the translator in transferring the meaning of English idioms into Bahasa Indonesia in the subtitle of  Pitch Perfect 3 Movie. The research method is descriptive qualitative method.. Baker’s translation strategies is used as guideline in classifying the translation strategies used. After finding the type of translation strategies employed, further identifying whether the meaning of English idiom is transferred rightly in Bahasa Indonesia. According to the finding, translation by using idiom in similar meaning and disimilar form was not used by the translator to translate the idioms. The frequency of  translation by using idiom in similar meaning but disimilar form strategy is 4 idioms. 46 idioms were translated by using paraphrased strategy. It is only 1 idiom was translated by using omission strategy. that the meaning of 36 idioms are transferred accurately. The meaning of four idioms were transferred Less-accurately. The meaning of 11 idioms were classified as inaccurate translation

<p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT</em></strong></p><p><em>This study examines the film “</em><em>Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” (Aach...I Fall in Love). This study aims to find out the visualization of the setting as a timepiece in the film “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” through the size of the image. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The selection of samples in this study was carried out by purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by observation and interviews, while data analysis is done through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. Research focuses on setting as a timepiece visualized in the film “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” through the size of the image. The results of the research of “Aach…Aku Jatuh Cinta” show the time settings are divided into three sequences, the settings that appeared in 1970, 1980 and 1990.</em></p><p><em>Keywords : visualization, setting, movie, and "Aach...Aku Jatuh Cinta".</em></p><h1> </h1><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Studi ini mengkaji film <em>Aach<strong>…</strong>Aku Jatuh Cinta</em>. Penelitian fokus pada<em> setting </em>sebagai penunjuk waktu yang divisualisasikan dalam film  <em>Aach<strong>…</strong>Aku Jatuh Cinta</em> melalui ukuran gambar. This study aims to determine the implementation of the supervision of prisoners on parole by the Community Guide. This research used descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation and supported by literature studies. A prisoner undergoing parole needs to be supervised to ensure that there is no violation of the provisions of the guidance contract agreed upon by the client and the community advisor at the beginning of the mentoring period. Community Advisors as law enforcement officials are tasked with carrying out this supervision. In its implementation, there are several obstacles experienced by community counselors related to the background and competence of officers, high workloads, and coordination between community counselors and law enforcement officials. Community involvement strongly supports the successful achievement of program objectives because parole is implemented in the community. Analysis of the needs of community counselors is also needed to increase the effectiveness and professionalism of officers.

<p>Several errors in spelling and grammar were found in the students' writing on Indonesian language courses. The errors affect the quality of students' academic works. Based on the findings, this study was aimed at (1) describing the forms of misapplication of Indonesian rules and writing in the students’ writing, and (2) defining the aspects behind the application of Indonesian rules and writing in the students’ writing. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was carried out in data collection, data classification, data analysis, and informal data analysis presentation. There are two results in this study. First, language errors were found at three levels, namely errors in aspects of letter writing, elements of paper and use of words, and writing sentences. Second, there are some factors behind this error, both internally and externally.</p>

This study aims to (1) find out the morphemic shifts found in Collen Mc Cullough„s novel The Thorn Birds and its translation Burung-Burung Semak Berduri by Lanny Murthihardjana (2) analyze the morphemic shifts in the English – Bahasa Indonesia translation of the novel and (3) investigate the most dominant morphemic shifts used in the novel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative with data collection on written documents from Colleen Mc Cullough‟s novel The Thorn Birds and its translation Burung-Burung Semak Berduri by Lanny Murtihardjana. The data will be taken by using purposive sampling. The results of this study are there are two morphemic shifts in translation of The Thorn Bird. They are the morphemic shifts from morpheme into word and the morphemic shifts from morpheme into phrase. The Morphemic shifts from morpheme into word are dis (5), un (9), in (1), im (4), re (6) ,-ly (6), ing- (14), less- (12), -er (14), -est (5), -s (13), -ful (11), „s (5), -hood (4), -ed (8), -ness (8), in-….-able (2), in-…-ible (3), un-…-able (3), un-…-ed (12), dis-…-ed (4), un-….-ing (2), re-…-ed (5) with the total of 156 shifts (85 %). While the Morphemic shifts from morpheme into phrase are un- (4), in- (1), less (5), -est (1), - er (1), -ful (1), in-…-able (2), in-…-ible (2), un-…-ing (2), un-…..-able (3), un-….ed (5), dis-…-ed (1) with the total of 28 shifts (15 %). In short, it can be seen that the morphemic shifts from morpheme into word is in the total of 156 shifts (85 %). Then the morphemic shifts from morpheme into phrase are in the total of 28 shifts (15 %).

<p><em>Hadith Arba’in</em> is a collection of the selected 42 hadiths. The name of <em>Arba’in</em> is taken from the amount of hadiths included in the book which is 42 hadiths. The book of <em>hadith Arba’inis</em> considered to be necessarily studied because this book contains the collection of the well know hadiths in islamic community awund the world. This book contains the main hadith that are very important in islamic study, started with hadith about the intention to start doing something, then followed with the basic <em>aqidah, syari’ah, akhlak</em>, and prophet’s advice. This research specifically studies the hadiths from 31-40 because they contain suggestion, forbiddence, excellence, and some of advices about islam. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The method used is (equal/comparison) method. The data in this research are grammatical cohesion marker in the form of pronoun in Arabic language and ideological translation in the 31-40 text of <em>hadith Arba’in</em> written by Ibnu Daqiq Al ‘ied and translated by Muhammad Thalib. The data collection is done by taking the sample or called technique sampling. Technique of presenting data is presented by words and table of data to describe the analysis result. This reaserch investigates cohesion, variasion of translation technique, translation method, and ideological translation used by the translator in translating the expressions in the hadith.</p><strong>Keywords</strong>: <em>hadith Arba’in</em>, cohesion, technique, method, ideology.

This study aims to describe the application of the scientific approach in the curriculum 2013 in class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects in this study were teachers of class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques used in this study include: observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher has carried out learning activities by applying the scientific approach. Activities carried out in learning include observing activities that have been carried out well by the teacher in learning 1 through learning 6, which is giving students the opportunity to observe pictures and reading texts. The questioning activity was not carried out properly, it did not appear that students asked questions in learning 1 to learning 6 only to the extent that the teacher asked the students. The activity of trying to do it is quite good in learning activities only visible in learning 2, learning 3 and learning 6 such as making story drawings, discussing in groups and making creations from playdough. Reasoning has been done well in learning 1 to learning 6, activities are carried out with the teacher giving independent assignments to students to make assignments in the student book. Communicating activities have been carried out well in learning 1 to learning 6 in the form of communicating orally and in writing in the form of teachers delivering material and question and answer activities and writing in the form of students making independent assignments. So, it can be concluded that the teacher of class VB Public Elementary School 13 of Pekanbaru has carried out learning by applying the scientific approach but has not been implemented optimally.
