ABSTRACT This research aims to see connection between teacher competence and work motivation with commitment of religion teacher embraced with spreading questionnaires. Hypothesis tested in this research are: (1) There is relation of teacher’s competence with commitment of religion teacher to implement job. (2) There is connection between motivation of teaching occupation of religion teacher. (3). There is connection between mastery of competence by the teacher and motivation of teaching to occupation of religion teacher. This study use quantitative research method with the entire study population of teachers Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) Kabupaten (Regency) Toba Samosir, amounting to 125 people and sample taken 30% of the total population of this study is that the sample as many 65 people. The research instrument is enclosed questionnaires, trials conducted questionnaires to 30 teachers PAK outside the sample. Validity and reliability of the instrument by using SPSS 22. Validity of the test result shown in the corrected item total correlation greater than r table at 0,374 and reliability test instrument with Alpha Formula obtained r11 = 0,0881 at the high category with such instrument valid and reliable. Data were analyzed using the following steps: 1) testing requirement analysis consisting of: (a) From the obtained value of normality test Sig. Shapiro-Wilk column. Test result above shows the value of competence (X1) = 0.05; Work motivation (X2) Of 0,063 and commitment Variable (Y) = 0. 292. These figures show that more than 0.05, then the data normal Distribution. b) obtained the probability of homogeneity test for the test Levena Sig.= 0.227 >0.05, then Ho is accepted, means there is no difference in variance between motivation and competence in running the task PAK commitment variable. This shows that the data variable duty commitment PAK homogeneity. 2) Hypothesis Testing consisting of: a) Competence to commitment correlation test shows the number 0,259. This relationship figure shows that there is correlation in the low category, competency with probabilities between task commitment PAK 0.037, 0.037 Figures < 0.05 means the two variables have a significant and purposeful relationship. b) correlation test was obtained that motivation to carry out the task PAK commitment rate was 0,642. This study aims to determine the method of adult Al-Qur'an education (Dirosa) on the ability to read the Koran. This research is descriptive quantitative research with the ex-post facto design. Determination of the sample is 50% of the population entitled 90, namely 45 research samples. The research data use questionnaire and test instruments that have been tested for validity and reliability. Before carrying out data analysis, the data were tested first, namely normality test and homogeneity test. Data analysis The results of the study used descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis analysis. The results showed that: (1) the method of adult Al-Quran education (Dirosa) as a whole respondents who answered always (SL) by 65%, who answered frequently (SR) by 30%, who answered sometimes (KD) for 5%, who answer rarely (JR) and never (TP) by 0%; (2) Ability to read al-Qur'an respondents with excellent predicate of 43 or 96%, good predicate of 2 or 4%, predicate sufficient, predicate less and predicate failed at 0 or 0%; (3) Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of adult Al-Qur'an education methods (variable X) on the ability to read the Qur'an (Variable Y) with the independent variable (method Dirosa) to the honest variable ( Qur'anic reading ability is 67.2%, while other variable costs. Significance value is 0,000 <0,05 so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means there is a significant (significant) influence of the Dirosa (X) method variable on the ability to read the Qur'an (Y). This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee work discipline at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang..1.This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with causal methods. The population in this study were all employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. The research sample amounted to 54 employees using.1.the sampling technique is the proportionate stratified random sampling technique..1.Data collection techniques are carried out by using a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by simple linear regression testing through.1.the help of the SPSS Computer Program version 16.00. the results of the study show: 1) Work Motivation employees at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang are in the good category (74.07%). 2) Employee Discipline is in a very good category (59.26%). 3) R Square 0.155 and a significance value of 0.03 which means that.1.there is a significant effect between work motivation on work discipline of 15.5% while the remaining 84.5% is influenced by other factors.

PT Bandar Abadi Shipyard is a company engaged in manufacturing and the company is working to improve the quality and quantity of production in the ship building and ship repair. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture variables and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bandar Abadi Shipyard. The study population was 50 people and the samples used are saturated sampling technique. This study using multiple linear regression data analysis with the help of computer software SPSS version 20.00. Analysis of the data used to test the validity and reliability levels, classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. Results from this study indicate that the organizational culture (X1), and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y) and simultaneously the organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y)

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, work communication and job training on the performance of  PT Parama Tirta Mulya Sejahterah employees. Both partially and simultaneously. The type of this research is quantitative research. The population of this study is all employees of PT. 43 employees. Sampling technique is done by saturated sampling technique. Data is obtained using a questionnaire (questionnaire) that is tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis found that there was a positive influence between motivation on employee performance with the coefficient value b1 = 0.452. There was a positive influence between work communication on employee performance with a coefficient value of b2 = 0.038. There was a positive influence between training )on employee performance with a coefficient value of b3 = 0.333. There was a significant positive effect of employee performance, Partial Test Results (t-test) between work motivation with work performance wan shows the value of t-count greater than t-table (3,829> 2,601), between communication and employee performance shows the value of t-count greater than t-table value (2,808> 2,016), and between training and employee performance shows the value of t-count greater than t-table value (2,213> 2,016), this shows that there is a significant positive effect partially. The result of the calculated F value is 44.981 and the probability of significance is 0.000.

This study aims to reveal content and test the satisfaction of teachers using e-report cards at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. This research uses quantitative research methods using correlational. The study population was all teachers who taught at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman who took 74 people with a sample of 12 people taken by proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using a research questionnaire. The questionnaire was tested on 12 members who were not included in the sample, then conducted a validity and reliability test. Testing the data analysis requirements and hypotheses with the normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test and regression analysis. The analysis results obtained Content Variable (X1) has a proportion of Teacher Satisfaction (Y), with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05, Fcount> Ftable (8,478> 1,812), Accuracy Variable (X2) has a relationship with Teacher Satisfaction (Y), with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05, Fcount> Ftable (11,397> 1,812). Content Variable (X1 Accuracy (X2) has a composition together with User Satisfaction (Y) E-Rapor in SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman, with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 and Fcount> Ftable (65,177> 4.04).

Mind mapping is a method that can optimize students' memory, because it uses images, lines, colors, and symbols that can stimulate the child's double senses, in addition mind mapping can also maximize their brain abilities. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of mind map method on the memory of learners in thematic learning in class IV MI Ma'arif NU 02 Tamansari. This research is a type of pre-experimental research conducted with the design of one group pretest posttest. The population in this study was all students in grade IV MI Ma'arif NU 02 Tamansari. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Test instruments use a type of short fill test that has been through the analysis of validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques use prerequisite test analysis in the form of normality and homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using statistical test paired sample t test. The results showed that the mind map method affects the memory of learners. This was demonstrated by Sig. (2-tailed) t test result with a significance of 0.000 less than 0.05. So, Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that the mind map method affects the memory of the learners.

Abstract This study began with observations during the pre-study of guests staying at the Prince Beach Hotel in Padang. It was found that there were problems with the needs of guests who were not properly met so that guests were dissatisfied, including those who complained about room facilities that were experiencing a lot of damage that were considered less provide comfort for guests. This study aims to analyze the effect of room facilities on guest satisfaction staying at the Prince Beach Hotel Padang. This type of research is classified as quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The study population was individual guests who stayed overnight with an average monthly rate of 1,707 people. The research sample of 95 using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis using simple linear regression with SPSS version 16.00. The results showed that: room facilities were classified as good (73.7%), and guest satisfaction was classified as good (61.05%). R square values ​​were obtained (10.3%), and the significance was 0.002 <0.05. This means that the influence of room facilities on guest satisfaction by 10.3% while 89.7% is influenced by other factors. Keywords: Room Facilities, Guest Satisfaction

This study aims to determine autocratic leadership style, communication and work motivation Against Employee performance at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. This research includes the type of quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The sample used in this study were 72 employees at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classic assumption test using SPSS version 18 for windows. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires whose measurement used a Likert scale that was tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study prove that Autocratic Leadership Style, Communication and Work Motivation Against Employee Performance simultaneously affect employee Performance. communication partially affects employee performance, work motivation partially influences employee performance, job satisfaction also partially affects employee Performance.

The aims of this study are to analyze whether: (1) work-family conflict affects job stress, (2) work-family conflict affects performance (3) job stress affects the performance of female nurses at RSI Ibnu Sina Padang. This research type is quantitative research with a causative descriptive method. The instrument utilized in this study is a questionnaire. The populations are 83 female nurses by nonprobability sampling techniques with a purposive sampling method that has provisions of female nurses who have been married and ever married. So, the sample is 63 nurses. The instrument trials used validity and reliability test. Data analysis was performed with descriptive and inductive analysis using the normality test, homogeneity test, path analysis, and hypothesis test. From the results, it can be concluded that: (1) work-family conflict features a positive and significant effect on the job stress, seen from significant value 0,000 < 0,05 (2) work-family conflict features a positive and significant effect on the performance, seen from significant value 0,006 < 0,05 (3 job stress features a negative effect on the performance, seen from significant value 0,004 < 0,05.Keywords: work-family conflict, job stress, and performance.

This study aims to determine (1) the existence of differences in the ability to write short stories between learning to write short stories using the media of event images and learning to write short stories that do not use media of event images in Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau (2) knowing the effectiveness of media use picture of events in improving the ability to write short stories in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The approach in this research is quantitative research, a type of quasi experimental or quasi-experimental research. The research location is in SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The object of this research is the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau as many as two classes, One experimental class and one randomly selected control class. The study population was Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The samples in this study were class VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. The instruments used were test and non-test instruments. Data analysis techniques using pretest and posttest data, normality test, data homogeneity test, hypothesis testing. The effectiveness of the event image media can be seen from the results of inferential statistical analysis using t-test, t distribution table with a significant level α = 0.05 and d = N1 + N2 - 2 = 56, then obtained t0.05 = 1.672. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) adanya perbedaan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek antara pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek yang menggunakan media gambar peristiwa dengan pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek yang tidak menggunakan media gambar peristiwa pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau (2) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media gambar peristiwa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Pendekatan dalam  Penelitian ini adalah  penelitian kuantitatif, jenis penelitian eksperimen kuasi (quasi experimental). Lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Objek penelitian  adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau sebanyak dua kelas, Satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A dan VIII B  SMP Negeri 1 Lilirilau. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrument tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan data pretest dan posttest, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas data, uji hipotesis. Keefektifan media gambar peristiwa dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t, tabel distribusi t dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan d = N1 + N2 - 2 = 56, maka diperoleh t0,05=1,672. Setelah diperoleh tHitung 13,65 dan tTabel 1,672 maka diperoleh tHitung > tTabel.
