AbstractThe flood disaster in Pekalongan City in February 2021 has lasted more than 1 week. Several refugee posts have been prepared to accommodate flood-affected communities. The flood that occurred in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic caused anxiety and concern, both adults and children felt the impact of the flood, as a result most of the residents forgot the PHBS (clean and healthy lifestyle) habits and did not comply with the 4M health protocol (wearing masks, washing clothes). hands, keeping a distance, and avoiding crowds) while at the evacuation post. This situation cannot be allowed to drag on, continuous anxiety and worry can lower a person's immune system so that they have the opportunity to contract the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this service is to remind the community about the importance of maintaining PHBS (clean and healthy lifestyle) and complying with the 4M health protocol (wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds), and reducing public anxiety and concern. The method used in this service is public education related to PHBS and 4M as well as trauma healing by doing creative aerobics. The results of this service are increasing public awareness regarding the implementation of PHBS (clean and healthy lifestyle) and continuing to carry out 4M (wearing masks, washing hands, keeping distance, avoiding crowds) in the refugee environment and increasing physical fitness, and providing joy, so that these activities help reduce the anxiety, worry and fear experienced by flood-affected communities.Keyword: community education; evakuation; flood; trauma healing AbstrakBanjir di Kota Pekalongan pada bulan Februari 2021 sudah berlangsung lebih dari 1 pekan. Since the enactment of the COVID-19 pandemic status by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. Massive joint efforts are needed by the world community to fight the spread of the COVID 19 virus so as not to cause more victims. The crisis due to the spread of Covid 19 is not only seen as a health crisis, but affects crises in various sectors of public life, because the impact affects all sectors of life. Facing this, in addition to medical efforts by finding anti-viruses, public awareness of a healthy lifestyle is also needed, namely getting used to behavior following health protocols in carrying out various life activities to inhibit and stop the rate of transmission of Covid 19. Paying attention to the movement of the spread of Covid 19 which runs very fast Therefore, fast public awareness is also needed to get used to following the covid 19 protocol. For this reason, all levels of society must take part in increasing public awareness to carry out various activities by following the Covid 19 protocol including Higher Education, as the efforts that have been carried out by UIN Mataram through Participatory Work Lecture (KKP) activities in 2020

Background: COVID-19 is a global challenge to healthcare. Obesity is common in patients with COVID-19 and seems to aggravate disease prognosis. In this review we explore the link between obesity, chronic disease, lifestyle factors and the immune system, and propose societal interventions to enhance global immunity.Search Strategy and Selection Criteria: We performed three literature searches using the keywords (1) coronavirus AND comorbidities, (2) comorbidities AND immune system, and (3) lifestyle factors AND immune system. Results were screened for relevance by the main author and a total of 215 articles were thoroughly analyzed. Results: The relationship between obesity and unfavorable COVID-19 prognosis is discussed in light of the impact of chronic disease and lifestyle on the immune system. Several modifiable lifestyle factors render us susceptible to viral infections. In this context, we make a case for fostering a healthy lifestyle on a global scale. Conclusions: Obesity, additional chronic disease and an unhealthy lifestyle interactively impair immune function and increase the risk of severe infectious disease. In adverse metabolic and endocrine conditions, the immune system is geared toward inflammation. Collective effort is needed to ameliorate modifiable risk factors for obesity and chronic disease on a global scale and increase resistance to viruses like SARS-CoV-2.

Kata Kunci: edukasi masyarakat, pelestarian, daerah pesisirAbstractTanjungpinang City is the capital of Riau Islands Province which is also a coastal area. As a developing city, the population density in Tanjungpinang City continues to increase significantly. The impact due to dense population is the conversion of land as residential land, industry, facilities and infrastructure as well as other activities. One of the functions of land conversion is the conversion of mangrove areas which causes damage to the ecosystem in the coastal and marine areas. Lack of knowledge and awareness of the impact of damage to mangrove ecosystems in coastal areas and a lack of understanding of efforts to conserve mangrove ecosystems causes these problems to continue to occur. Community service provided by the Raja Ali Haji Maritime University (UMRAH) community service team is aimed at the people of the city of Tanjungpinang with education methods to the Tanjungpinang community to provide knowledge about the important role of mangrove ecosystems in coastal areas, increase public awareness and concern in preserving coastal areas and encourage the community to participate in mangrove conservation. Community service activities went well. This can be seen from the desire of the community to join in signing environmental pledges.Key Word: community education, preservation, coastal area

This paper examines the impact of community education and challenges facing Centres for Education and Community Action as a rural development strategy in Cameroon. The study was conducted in the North-West Region of Cameroon, employing field observations, semi-structured interviews with key informants using a convenient sampling technique and through elaborate review of documents. These research instruments were blended into what is termed triangulation and the data collected was analysed descriptively. The main focus of qualitative analysis is to understand the ways in which people act and the accounts that people give for their actions. This paper posits that extreme dependence on the provision of Western formal education cannot solve the problems of a rapidly changing society like Cameroon, which is facing a long-term economic crisis and persistent unemployment issues of graduates. Consequently, education should be redefined in the context of the prevailing economic crisis to make it responsive to the aspirations of rural communities. Findings showed that community education had contributed towards rural development immensely but has suffered many challenges due to neglect of the field in the policy agenda. This paper recommends the integration of community education with formal education to facilitate group and community betterment in particular and rural transformation in general.

Damaged or disabled tissue is life-threatening due to the lack of proper treatment. Many conventional transplantation methods like autograft, iso-graft and allograft are in existence for ages, but they are not sufficient to treat all types of tissue or organ damages. Stem cells, with their unique capabilities like self-renewal and differentiate into various cell types, can be a potential strategy for tissue regeneration. However, the challenges like reproducibility, uncontrolled propagation and differentiation, isolation of specific kinds of cell and tumorigenic nature made these stem cells away from clinical application. Today, various types of stem cells like embryonic, fetal or gestational tissue, mesenchymal and induced-pluripotent stem cells are under investigation for their clinical application. Tissue engineering helps in configuring the stem cells to develop into a desired viable tissue, to use them clinically as a substitute for the conventional method. The use of stem cell-derived Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) is being studied to replace the stem cells, which decreases the immunological complications associated with the direct administration of stem cells. Tissue engineering also investigates various biomaterials to use clinically, either to replace the bones or as a scaffold to support the growth of stemcells/ tissue. Depending upon the need, there are various biomaterials like bio-ceramics, natural and synthetic biodegradable polymers to support replacement or regeneration of tissue. Like the other fields of science, tissue engineering is also incorporating the nanotechnology to develop nano-scaffolds to provide and support the growth of stem cells with an environment mimicking the Extracellular matrix (ECM) of the desired tissue. Tissue engineering is also used in the modulation of the immune system by using patient-specific Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) and by modifying the physical features of scaffolds that may provoke the immune system. This review describes the use of various stem cells, biomaterials and the impact of nanotechnology in regenerative medicine.
