Village-owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are an important instrument in realizing dignified village autonomy. The existence of BUMDes is expected to be one of the main pillars of increasing village income so that it can provide higher quality public services. The management of local tourism potential is one of the prospective business alternatives for Village-Owned Enterprises. The involvement of BUMDes in tourism management is not only for economic purposes. BUMDes role in tourism is also mean to allow the preservation and development of local wisdom values in tourism. This article analyzes the pattern of localcharacter tourism development by BUMDes in three villages. Those are Mumpun Baru Village, Tanjung Lanjut Village, and Pendung Talang Genting Village in Jambi Province. The articles are written based on the research results conducted qualitatively in the Muaro Jambi, Kerinci, and Merangin areas with a purposive sampling method. The analysis shows that several things characterize the development of tourism through BUMDes, namely, tourism products, innovation or novelty in the development of tourism products, the preservation of local wisdom values, the institutional aspects of BUMDes, the contribution of tourism to the community's economy. In addition, managing tourism with BUMDes is key in supportingthe achievement of sustainable tourism which is the global agenda of countries around the world.

The Lut desert is one of the largest and most attractive deserts in Iran. The value of desert tourism remains unclear for Iran’s economy and has only recently been taken into consideration by the authorities, although its true national and international value remains unclear. This study was aimed at investigating the factors that influence tourism development in the Lut desert. Data collected through the purposive sampling method was analyzed using Interpretive Structural Modeling and the MICMAC Analysis. According to the results, cost-effective travel expenses, security, and safety provided in the desert, together with appropriate media advertising and illustration of the Lut desert (branding) are the leading factors that influence tourism in the Lut desert in Iran. This paper highlighted the importance of desert tourism, especially in this region.

This article discusses the role of women in supporting sustainable tourism development in Bali by promoting Balinese cuisine to the tourism world. To date, studies on the role of Balinese women in the tourism industry have looked mainly at women as ordinary workers or professionals. In fact, Balinese women operate as culinary entrepreneurs who have not only been successful in introducing Balinese cuisine to the world of tourism but have opened up job opportunities for men and women alike. The data presented in this article was collected through observation of four leading Balinese women who run successful local culinary outlets or restaurants offering local dishes, and is complemented by interviews and other published sources relating to their business activities. The four pioneering women surveyed are Men Tempeh of Gilimanuk (West Bali) serving chicken betutu, the suckling pig restaurant manager Ibu Oka in Ubud, the owner of Made’s Warung Ni Made Masih, and the catering company owner Ibu Warti Buleleng, based in Denpasar. This article concludes that these four Balinese culinary heroines or srikandi have successfully managed to preserve and promote Balinese dishes to the world of tourism while contributing to the sustainable development of Balinese tourism by providing opportunities for tourists to experience local cuisine.

The application of industry 4.0 has been doing in many countries in the world today even some developed countries have headed to industry 5.0, nevertheless in Indonesia there are still many companies that have not implemented industry 4.0. This research aims to find out the extent of the implementation of industry 4.0 in Indonesia, especially the industry located on the island of Java.The industry 4.0 aspects as a benchmark of differentiator from previous industrial developments is worth scrutinized to know its application levels in the service and manufacturing industries. Although many industries still combine their operating system between the 4.0 industry and conventional operating systems. The populations are the services and manufacturing companies. The data was obtained by using a questionnaire distributed online to respondents with a purposive sampling method. The data was grouped according to The level of implementation and is centered. The calculation and percentage results demonstrate that the level of implementation of the 4.0 industry with a technology base in service companies and manufacturing companies are at a managed level. It illustrates that the companies being researched have not been fully on the demands of the 4.0 industry.

This article has the basic objective of assessing the potential, current situation and proposing solutions for sustainable tourism development in Northwest region of Vietnam. The main research methods are: Theoretical research - general analysis of documents and datasets; and Field research. This article has assessed the potential for both the natural potential and the cultural potential for tourism development; and analyzed the current situation and proposed solutions to develop tourism in a sustainable manner. Some of the most important solutions for sustainable tourism development are: high quality human resource training, investment in infrastructure construction capital, technical facilities for tourism, diversification of tourism products, environmental protection, good propaganda, and promotion of products and destinations as a whole better exploit the tourism potential of the region.

Nowadays, tourism is among the most important socio-economic sectors of the world economy, so the urgency of the problem under investigation is due to the need for sustainable development of tourism in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations for the sustainable development of tourism in the world and in Ukraine, in particular, in the Carpathian region. To the leading methods of research problems of the article include the analysis of theoretical sources, analysis of statistical data, comparison. The article examined the essence of tourism, its categories, nature and factors of sustainable tourism development, studied the development trends of tourism in the world, analyzed the development of tourism in Ukraine and the Carpathian region, made the comparison of the indicators of tourism development in Ukraine and in other countries, identified problems of sustainable tourism development in Ukraine, ways of their decision are developed. The materials of the article have practical value for ensuring the sustainable development of tourism in Ukraine, in the Carpathian region or at the level of other regions of the country.

AbstractSerbia represents one of those countries which have not yet differentiated themselves on the world tourism map. However, it has an immense but still unrevealed potential for geotourism development. In this paper we analyzed several remarkable canyons and gorges of great scientific importance and geotourism potential. These sites include the Djerdap Gorge and Lazar River Canyon, located in Eastern Serbia and the Ovcar-Kablar Gorge and Uvac Canyon located in Western Serbia. One of the main goals of this paper was to analyze and compare the current state and tourism potential of these geosites by using the M-GAM model for geosite assessment. However, the principal aim of the paper is to analyze how important is each subindicator in the assessment process for different market segments. In this paper, we also analyzed how giving different importance to subindicators can influence the position of the geosites in the matrix indicating different assessment done by two chosen market segments. The research showed that general geotourists appreciate considerably different values when assessing a geosite in comparison to pure geotourists. The paper can be used as framework for developing the tourism management strategy of geosites taking into consideration the needs and preferences of the target market segments.

In the modern world, tourism is perceived as a socio-economic event that directly and indirectly affects the development of all related infrastructure. Modern tourism is based on a high level of development of transport, social and service sectors, which ultimately makes it a highly profitable sector of the economy. According to the World Tourism Organization (WTO), tourism is one of the most profitable and dynamic sectors of the world economy today. It is the second most profitable after oil production and refining. Tourism accounts for about 6% of the world's gross domestic product, 7% of global investment, every 16th job, 11% of global consumption spending and 5% of all tax revenues. In this regard, the tourism sector is actively developing in many countries with state support. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the prospects for the development of tourism in Karabakh. Nagorno-Karabakh has great tourism potential, and the restoration of lost infrastructure communications in the liberated territories is expected to create favorable conditions for business, including the development of tourism. Purpose of the Study: This study aims to identify the potential of Pentingsari Tourist Village and tourist characteristics and analyze the presence of local wisdom Memayu Hayuning Bawono in Pentingsari Village, especially its implementation in the sustainable Tourist Villages management. Methodology: This research uses a "multi-method" or mixed-method approach. In addition to conducting non-participant observation in the Pentingsari tourism village, researchers also conducted in-depth interviews with a purposive sampling method. While the accident sampling method was adopted to distribute questionnaires involving 72 respondents (tourists). Main Findings: This research found that tourism and local wisdom have become unity and seem to strengthen one another. In other words, harmonization between the environment, arts and culture, and community life aspects through local wisdom, can become a tourism commodity. On the other hand, tourism provides economic and social impacts to preserve the local sense of the community. Implication/Applications: This case study can be useful as a role model of sustainable tourism management based on local knowledge. Besides, this study can enrich references related to the concept of sustainable tourism based on local wisdom. Originality of the study: The paper is original, and this is the current study to examine the local wisdom Memayu Hayuning Bawono in Pentingsari Village, particularly related to tourism issues.

Abstract: Consumption of alcoholic beverages in the world led to the deaths of more than 3.3 million people every year, or 5.9% of all deaths, if not preventable, the number of deaths will increase annually in line with the increasing number of drinkers. A smoker who consumes alcoholic beverages can cause a variety of health problems, one of which is erectile dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to find the effect of consumption of alcoholic beverages to the erectile dysfunction in smoker drivers. This study is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted in Karombasan Public Transport Terminal from October 2015 to January 2016, with a population of 60 smoker drivers. The sampling of this study uses purposive sampling method to determine which sample meets the criteria. The number of samples obtained is 48 people. Erectile function was assessed using IIEF questionnaire (International Index of Erectile Function). This study showed that from 60 smoker drivers who consumes alcohol beverages, 80% of them had sustained erectile dysfunction with the degree of dysfunction at most is mild, i.e. 45%. This shows that there are significant effects of alcohol consumption on erectile dysfunction in smoker drivers with a value of p = 0.001 (p<0.05). It can be concluded that smoker drivers who consumes alcoholic beverages can significantly influence the occurrence of erectile dysfunction.Keywords: erectile dysfunction, consumption of alcoholic beverages, the driver smokersAbstrak: Konsumsi minuman beralkohol di dunia menyebabkan kematian lebih dari 3,3 juta orang setiap tahunnya atau 5,9% dari semua kematian, bila tidak dapat dicegah maka jumlah kematian akan bertambah setiap tahunnya seiring bertambahnya jumlah peminum. Seorang perokok yang mengkonsumsi minuman alkohol dapat menyebabkan berbagai gangguan kesehatan pada tubuh salah satunya adalah disfungsi ereksi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi minuman beralkohol terhadap disfungsi ereksi pada sopir perokok. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional.Penelitian dilakukan di Terminal Angkutan Umum Karombasan Manado pada bulan Oktober 2015 sampai Januari 2016 dengan jumlah populasi 60 sopir perokok.Penentuan sampel penelitian yaitu yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel yang didapatkan yaitu 48 orang.Fungsi ereksi dapat dinilai dengan menggunakan kuesioner IIEF (International Index of Erectile Function). Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 60 sopir perokok yang mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol didapatkan 80% mengalami disfungsi ereksi dengan derajat disfungsi paling banyak terdapat pada disfungsi ringan yaitu sebesar 45%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh konsumsi alkohol terhadap disfungsi ereksi pada sopir perokok dengan nilai p<0,05 atau p=0,001. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sopir perokok yang mengkonsumsi minuman beralkohol dapat berpengaruh signifikanterhadap terjadinya disfungsi ereksi.Kata kunci: disfungsi ereksi, konsumsi minuman beralkohol, sopir perokok
