The study involved 32 patients with schizophrenia (F20). The main criterion of the analysis of gender characteristics is the trigger of the disease development. The authors analyze the possible role of psychological factors of traumatization in the interpretation of the mechanisms of formation and development of some symptoms of mental disorders in schizophrenics. According to the study, the trigger of the disease in women often has been the traumatic situation connected with unsuccessful romantic and sexual experiences: rape, attempted rape, "unrequited love" (56% of cases). Among the factors aggravating premorbid background in women, the authors noted the disturbances of eating behavior (37%) and suicidal behaviour (31% of cases). In men, the trigger is associated with trauma in the field of interpersonal relations (38% of cases). As aggravating factors in men, the authors identified anti-social behaviour (18%) and the use of alcohol and drugs (50% of cases). The analysis of socio-psychological factors of the disease revealed considerable social in women. Similar results were obtained the following factors: the criticality of the patient to his state and the safety of the patient in selforientation. 56% women are relatively critical to its defective state, this parameter in men is 37%.

Education, in essence, is an interactive activity in which teacher and student interactions construct a learning path to raise knowledge. However, it is evident that this learning path is not merely cognitive. Thus, the role of interpersonal relationships should not be taken for granted. Teacher-student relationships are among the salient factors in effective teaching. Factors such as these trigger achievement, motivation, and engagement in students (Martin and Dowson, 2009), with student engagement in particular seeming like the keystone for educational achievement. One relative innovation that promotes student engagement and undertakes more effective learning and deeper knowledge of the materials is flipped learning (Kim, 2017). This theoretical review article was written to enlighten scholars, teachers, and learners with key concepts in interpersonal relations and their roles on student engagement in the context of flipped learning. In this study, some pedagogical implications were presented with the prospect of edifying the practice of teachers, students, and syllabus designers.

This study attempts to identify the manifestations of extreme shyness among students, shed light on the effect of counselling interventions in reducing the level of non-positive shyness, and highlight behavioural indicators that may lead to improved social interaction. The study researchers utilised a systematic approach to study a female gifted student with a high level of shyness that prevents her from engaging in normal social interaction. The study participant is a gifted student designated gifted as indicated by the Mawhiba scale in 2019-2020, and she was deliberately chosen for the purpose of this four-week case study. Multiple resources and a special tool for data collection were used to analyse the output and ultimately suggest a package of consultancy solutions for this study. The study reveals that the thorough and extensive consultancy program makes a remarkable impact on the characteristics of the study participant and to the same degree on the family and school. In addition, a number of specific strategies were identified as successful means in attaining reduced self-consciousness while increasing confidence and social interaction skills. From a quantitative perspective, the study utilises Sternberg’s emotional intelligence index and a shyness scale, which led the researchers to better understand the study participant's emotional intelligence and lower her level of shyness and inhibition.

In a study involving 150 adolescents aged 15 to 18 years the emphasis was placed on the connection of the bullying victim position and level of aggressiveness. The following methods were used: a questionnaire, a method of sociometry, Rosenberg self-esteem scale, Bass-Perry aggressive behavior diagnosis questionnaire. We tested the assumption that the people occupying the bullying victim position, have a high level of aggression. Analysis of the results showed that the greatest number of subjects play the role of the aggressor / victim, and most often, adolescents face verbal type of bullying. The study analyzed the gender aspect of bullying. It was concluded that the group of bullying aggressors / victims is the most difficult and dangerous for the development of the personality of a teenager. Also, we made conclusions about poor awareness about bullying in teachers and tolerance to bullying in the educational environment. Due to the above study, we identified and describe the mechanisms of formation and manifestation of aggressive behaviors in bullying.

Abstract This paper develops a theoretical framework to discuss the positive role of imitative works where creators often have private information about their creative abilities and may need outside investment. Within this framework, we consider the impact of three types of copyright protection during the different stages: the production, distribution, and consumption of creative works. Different types of enforcement can discourage imitation (production-side enforcement), limit distribution (supply-side enforcement), and restrict consumption (demand-side enforcement) of unauthorized copies of creative works. The last two types of infringement are called end-user piracy since these involve end-users, who actively search and illegally access creative works. The main results show that substitutability exists between copyright protection against end-user piracy since both types of enforcement increase the creator’s incentive with a higher return. However, it cannot solve the inefficient investment problem due to information asymmetry. There exists complementarity between copyright protection against end-user piracy and imitation. When weak protection against end-user piracy yields the overproduction of creative works, a high level of protection against imitation can minimize the related inefficiencies. However, when end-user piracy enforcement increases and brings underproduction, imitative works can benefit society.

With data collected from a directed social trading network, this paper investigates how social interaction affects the disposition effect. We constantly observe a negative association between them: After being exposed to social interaction, a trader’s odds ratio to sell a paper gain stock decreases by 9% to 10%, depending on different model settings. We then test the mechanisms of social interaction by decomposing it into three channels: learning intensity (willingness to learn), learning quality (information advantage through learning), and public scrutinization (exposure of trading outcome to others). We find that all three channels contribute to a smaller disposition effect. Specifically, our findings support the claim that public scrutinization promotes self-consciousness and reduces disposition effect. Also, our results extend previous studies on investors’ information advantage by suggesting that it could also help to mitigate the disposition effect through the reduction of uncertainty. Overall, this paper suggests a positive role of social trading platforms in helping investors make better decisions.

Each investor has an investment plan to reach their investment objectives. Perceived investment performance was affected by a high level of the psychological aspect.  The purpose of this study was to test the effect of the Big Five personality traits on the perception of investment performance. This study also tests the moderating role of social interaction. PLS-SEM was used to test the hypotheses. Used individual stock investors in Indonesia, the findings showed that openness personality had a negative effect on perceived investment performance. Otherwise, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism had a positive impact on perceived investment performance. The results also show that social interaction moderates the relationship between conscientiousness, agreeableness, and perceived investment performance. This result shows that information selection and investment knowledge is important when allocating asset to achieve investment objectives.

This chapter describes childhood experiences of parental conflict and examines how this impacted on their accommodation of parental separation. Using respondents’ accounts, it describes the negative impact of parental conflict on children’s social and emotional well being. In some cases, where domestic violence was present this included ‘feeling frightened’. When conflict ended following parental separation, the feeling of relief was universal and children showed a high level of accommodation. Their experiences were in marked contrast to those who continued to experience their parents’ conflict who described the distress it caused them and showed a low level of accommodation. The positive role of family support in enabling children to adjust was highlighted in some accounts.
