The article examines the system of forms and methods of educational work with cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, used in specific conditions of distance learning. The subject of the article is the statistical data obtained by the author of the article through a survey of full-time cadets of 1 and 2 courses of the SLI of the FPS of Russia, domestic legislation, as well as scientific literature on the topic of the work. The purpose of the study is to reveal the specifics of using various forms and methods of educational work with cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the conditions of distance learning, to determine the most effective forms and methods of educational work in the indicated conditions. The methodological basis of the research wassis, induction, system-structural and formallogical methods. As a result of the work carried out, the concepts of «e-learning» and «distance lear-ning technologies» were studied as regulated by the current legislation. The main advantages and disadvantages of organizing educational work with cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the context of distance learning are analyzed. The main methods and forms of educational work with cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia are highlighted and compared. It has been established that in the conditions of distance learning, cadets of educational organizations of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia regard the fulfillment of personal instructions and assignments with the provision of individual assistance in their preparation as the most effective and interesting forms of educational work. The data obtained as a result of the study should be taken into account when organizing educational work with cadets in the conditions of distance learning in order to increase the effectiveness of educational work. The conclusion is made about the importance of distance learning in the modern system of education. At the same time, regardless of the specifics of the conditions for organizing the educational work with cadets, its effectiveness largely depends not on technology and technics, but on the competence and professionalism of the mentors who carry out this work. Abstract Distance learning and e-learning have significantly developed in recent years. It is also due to changing educational requirements, especially for adults. The article aims to show the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning. Examples of the 20-year use of the distance learning form of computer science describe the difficulties associated with the implementation and implementation of this form of teaching. The results of students in the full-time and distance form of teaching in the bachelor’s study of computer science are compared. Long-term findings show that distant students have significantly lower scores in the first years of study than full-time bachelor students. In the following years of study, the differences diminish, and students’ results are comparable. The article describes the possibilities of improving the quality of distance learning.

The article introduces a comprehensive study of distance learning in higher education during the pandemic. The authors analyzed the readiness of universities to implementing e-learning platforms. They focused on the legal and organizational aspects of digital environment. The authors studied relevant interviews given by heads of higher educational institutions in various media sources. The research objective was to develop and perform a formalized interview with full-time students of Russian universities. The study made it possible to identify a wide range of issues that affect the passage to distance learning, as well as to define the prospective directions and problem areas of the digital environment at universities as part of domestic digital economy. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of tasks for a successful transfer of universities to distance or blended learning.

The article discusses the problem of organizing classes in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» with the use of distance education technologies, which is a result of the insufficient development of the methodological base, and the procedure for organizing training sessions in the distance form. The subject of the research is the use of distance education technologies in physical culture and sports training sessions. The purpose of the research is to study the experience of work with the use of distance learning technologies, develop methodological support and make recommendations for organizing training sessions in the discipline «Physical culture and sport». The methodological basis of the research was formed by methods of studying and generalizing advanced pedagogical experience, pedagogical observation, and modeling. As a result of the study, the structure of the organization of the educational process in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» with the use of distance education technologies, methodological recommendations and the procedure for organizing training sessions have been developed. The results of the study will add to the methodological base for organizing training sessions in the discipline «Physical culture and sport» not only in educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, but also in educational institutions of other departments. The obtained results of the research will be useful for lecturers, lecturers-methodologists of educational departments of educational organizations, teachers, inspectors for service and combat training in organizing the educational process. В условиях распространения Covid-19 в нашей стране практически все образовательные учреждения перешли на дистанционные образовательные технологии. У преподавателей и студентов вуза не было возможности плавного перехода к дистанционной форме обучения, а сроки были максимально сжаты. Предметом исследования является отношение студентов ЧГПУ им. И. Я. Яковлева к дистанционному обучению.Исследование проводилось на основе анкетирования студентов очной формы обучения, вынужденных в условиях распространения Covid-19 перейти на новый для них формат обучения. По результатам опроса можно сделать вывод, что основная доля респондентов на сегодняшний день не готова полностью отказаться от традиционных методов обучения в пользу дистанционных образовательных технологий.Проведенное исследование показало увеличение учебной нагрузки на студентов во время дистанционного обучения, а также позволило выявить его положительные стороны (занятия в комфортной и привычной обстановке; гибкость учебного процесса; возможность совмещать работу с учебой и т. д.) и трудности, с которыми пришлось столкнуться студентам в процессе дистанционного обучения (сложность выполнения практических заданий без объяснений преподавателя, большой объем заданий, учебной информации и т. д. In the context of the spread of Covid-19 in our country, almost all educational institutions have switched to distance educational technologies. University lecturers and students did not have a chance to go to distance learning gradually, and the terms were rather short. The subject of the research is the attitude of Yakovlev University students to distance learning.The study was carried out on the basis of the results of the questionnaire on the transition to a new form of education in the context of Covid-19. This questionnaire was held among full-time students who had experienced that transition. According to the results of the survey, it can be concluded that the majority of the respondents today are not ready to completely abandon the traditional form of learning in favor of distance learning technologies.The study showed an increase in the study load on students during distance learning, and also made it possible to identify its positive aspects (learning in a comfortable and familiar environment; flexibility of the educational process; the ability to combine work with study, etc.) and the difficulties that students were to face in the process of distance learning (the difficulty of completing practical tasks without explanations from the lecturer, a large amount of information asked, etc.).

The publication is devoted to the analysis of the challenges of the organization of educational process faced by the Ukrainian educational institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The complexity and ambiguity of the process of making managerial decisions in the field of education in the conditions of quarantine and the organization of distance learning have been emphasized. The relevant 3D model of management decision-making and the nature of management decisions made by our country's educational institutions as a response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic are described. It has been systematized the peculiarities of psychological, communicative, financial, regulatory and organizational challenges, which should become new opportunities for educational institutions to improve their work and achieve the main goal of the activity, i.e. the provision of high-quality educational services. The expediency of using different services and platforms in the educational process at its different stages is analyzed. The list of competencies that are especially important in the conditions of using distance learning technologies, including the ability to experiment, to act at high speed, is substantiated; provide different processes in different roles, simultaneously with many participants and from different access points; use modern information technologies, computer systems, etc. The most important problems of communication between the participants of the educational process in the conditions of quarantine restrictions have been identified. The current legislation of Ukraine regulating distance learning has been systematized; the content and peculiarities of conducting distance learning and distance learning technologies that can be used on full-time and part-time forms of education have been clarified. Emphasis is also placed on the need to solve the problem of proper financial and logistical support of distance learning for all participants in the educational process. The main advantages and disadvantages of the organization of the educational process using remote technologies are determined. The main accents of distance learning organization are identified, which require detailed study and further implementation in Ukraine.

The article presents the experience of mass organization of distance learning in organizations of secondary general and vocational education in March—May 2020 in connection with the difficult epidemiological situation in Russia. The possibilities of the 1C:Education system for organizing the educational process in a distance format, the peculiarities of organizing distance interaction in schools and colleges are considered, the results of using the system are summarized, examples of the successful use of the system in specific educational organizations are given. Based on the questionnaire survey of users, a number of capabilities of the 1C:Education system have been identified, which are essential for the full-fledged transfer of the educational process from full-time to distance learning. The nature and frequency of the use of electronic educational resources in various general education subjects in schools and colleges are analyzed, the importance of the presence in the distance learning system not only of a digital library of ready-made educational materials, but also of tools for creating author’s content is assessed. On the basis of an impersonal analysis of user actions in the system, a number of problems were identified that teachers and students faced in the process of an emergency transition to distance learning.

Distance education at lightning-fast speed has become the only possible form of education. Distance learning of a foreign language for students of higher educational institutions has a number of advantages due to the fact that we are talking about pedagogical interaction with the age group of psychologically mature individuals with relatively formed mechanisms of motivation and outlined personal and professional orientation. The purpose of the present research is a comprehensive analysis of the process and results of distance learning of a foreign language (English) for students of economic specialties. The research methods are as follows: the analysis of modern opportunities for organizing distance learning; study of theoretical and methodological papers on the subject matter; method of experimental teaching of foreign languages with an emphasis on tactics of stimulating the personal and motivational sphere of students’ educational activities; development of author’s diagnostic models in order to reveal the dynamics of development of knowledge and practical skills in a foreign language of students of economic profile; qualitative and quantitative analysis of empirical data; statistical and mathematical interpretation of results, their functional analysis; method of generalization and abstraction. According to the data obtained, the hypothesis of the research has been confirmed.

<p>Concerning the fast spread of COVID-19, countries all over the world have closed academic institutions to stop the pandemic. It is now apparent that students and teachers require other options that have to be more versatile, easily accessible, and support the current technologies and conditions to face the unpredictable future. From the review, literature disclosed that universities throughout the globe are establishing and implementing electronics learning platforms as a basic need in academic institutions. This manuscript aimed to assess the status of electronics learning in China and Ethiopian educational institutions to counter the challenges of the closure of schools because of the outbreak of the pandemic. The paper highlights concerning e-learning in the sense of China and Ethiopia, e-learning challenges, and successful experiences. This review paper also suggests educators use e-learning and distance learning as a necessity to advance learning, particularly during this pandemic season.</p>

The article indicates the importance of the principles of pedagogical design and pedagogical design in ensuring the effectiveness of e-learning. The author considers the features and advantages of blended learning for both students and university teachers in general, shows the possibilities of using the electronic environment within the framework of full-time and distance learning. The practical aspect of these problems is considered, which is associated with the fact that few teachers are ready to master the latest technologies, design the content and organizational aspects of the digital educational space, adapt the educational process to the requirements of an innovative society, since there are no ideas about the digital educational space as a whole.

Topicality of the study of the attitude to the distance learning format is due to the need to study the impact of such interaction in the “pedagogue-studentˮ system on the quality, motivation and overall satisfaction of students with the learning process. The study involved 120 people from 6 six higher education institutions in Moscow. The use of content analysis allowed us to identify 8 significant contexts (areas) around which the statements of the study participants are grouped: “Roadˮ, “Teachersˮ, “Returnˮ, “Distance learningˮ, “Full-time, full-time attendingˮ, “Training, training formatˮ, “Provided, changedˮ, “Qualityˮ. The results obtained indicate that the main disadvantages of the distance learning format, according to the respondents, are the lack of live communication with teachers, a decrease in the level of motivation and self-organisation, which ultimately has a negative impact on the psychoemotional state of students and the quality of material assimilation. At the same time, among the obvious advantages, there is a reduction in transport and time costs for the road to the place of study, as well as the opportunity to study the material at a convenient time. The results obtained can be used in the development of distance learning programmes for students of higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
