The flare-up of coronavirus has reportedly put on many changes and wrecked chaos in almost all life aspects, economically, academically, and socially. School closure has led to homeschooling, where the responsibility of children's education was laid mainly in the parents' hands. Consequently, many parents were compelled to be significantly involved in their children's education. However, full parental engagement in children's education is seemed to be a comparatively new trend amongst Saudi parents. Drawing from existing literature on parents' involvement, this paper used a quantitative descriptive study through a survey method to access the experience of Saudi parents involved in homeschooling. A purposive sampling technique was used to recruit 51 Saudi parents.The findings showed that even though Saudi parents have encountered some challenges, they are facilitating their children's learning and assisting them throughout the online learning process. Parents' support was identified in different areas such as ensuring students' attendance of online sessions, nurturing a good session flow, connecting with teachers and parents via WhatsApp group, and taking full responsibility for mongering their children during exams. The result provided a comprehensive set of recommendations not only to parents but also to schools to consolidate a good connection between especially in times of crisis. It is envisaged that the results of this study will enrich the literature about this phenomenon which seems relatively new not only in the context where this study was situated but worldwide due to the pandemic of coronavirus or other unforeseen circumstances.

This study aims to determine the application of the rules (rules) and routines (routines) in the learning process of Physical Education in SMP Negeri throughout the Banyumas Regency. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The research method used was a survey method. The subjects in this study were physical education teachers in Banyumas Regency, totaling 36 schools. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire application of rules (rules) with a validity coefficient of 0.925 and a reliability coefficient of 0.991, as well as a routine questionnaire (routines) with a validity coefficient of 0.925 and a reliability coefficient of 0.987. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis presented in the form of a percentage. The results showed that: (1) The application of the rules in Physical Education learning in state junior high schools in Banyumas Regency was in the category of "very less" by 0% (0 teachers), "less" by 0% (0 teachers), "Enough" at 30.56% (11 teachers), "good" at 69.44% (25 teachers), and "very good" at 0.00% (0 teachers). (2) Implementation of routines in Physical Education learning in state junior high schools in Banyumas Regency is in the category of "very less" by 0% (0 teachers), "less" by 0% (0 teachers), "enough" by 69, 44% (25 teachers), "good" by 27.78% (10 teachers), and "very good" by 2.78% (1 teacher). With these results, it can be concluded that the application of rules and routines in SMPs throughout the Banyumas Regency is in the sufficient category.

The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship between parents’ attitude towards their children’s education and level of students’ discipline in public secondary schools in Naivasha sub-county, Kenya. The study targeted a total of 197 respondents (constituting 28 head teachers and 169 teachers). A total of 195 respondents participated in the study (169 teachers and 26 principals) participated giving a response rate of 99%. Purposive sampling technique was used to sample head teachers while Krejcie and Morgan’s (1970) table for determining sample size for teachers. Questionnaires were used as instrument for data collection. SPSS was used to analyze the data where both descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The analyzed data were presented in terms of graphs and tables. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between parents’ attitude towards child’s education and students’ discipline (r = .399, p = .000). Therefore, the null hypothesis that there was no significant relationship between parents’ attitude towards child’s education and students’ discipline was rejected at .05 level of confidence. The study therefore concluded that parents’ attitude towards child’s education influences students’ discipline in secondary schools in Naivasha sub-county. It was recommended that parents’ should have more positive attitude towards a child’s education. This can be realized through monitoring the academic performance of their children and taking keen concern on decline on the performance by engaging teachers.

This paper mainly describes how to build a trust relationship in kindergarten and why trust is so important for children’s education. As the relationship between teachers and parents is becoming more and more tense, the relationship between teachers and teachers is becoming more and more independent (Tschannen-Moran, 2014)[57]. The trust relationship has a profound impact on children’s academic and social achievement (Bryk and Schneider, 2002)[5]. Therefore, the establishment of the trust relationship is of vital importance in kindergartens. The whole article can be divided into three parts: what, why and how. What is trust first, mentioned a few scholars understanding of trust and understanding? The second part is why trust is important in kindergartens and the factors influencing trust are mentioned. The third part is the focus of this paper, how to do to build trust in kindergarten. This article mentions five solutions, including hiring good leaders; advance step by step according to the order of establishing trust relationship; building a culture of trust in schools; building trust between parents and teachers, teachers and students, and teachers and teachers; using the teaching method adopts the child-centered teaching mode.

The background of the problem in this study is that various obstacles arise in the application of online learning, ranging from limitations to internet access, operational capabilities and online features. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in class X high school students in Mranggen District in PJOK subjects. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method conducted online by distributing questionnaires using google form. The sampling technique in this study used cluster sampling. Then after the data has been collected, it will be analyzed and in a percentage for later description. The results of the study showed that the PJOK lessons using online learning were 41,% said they were less understood and 52.2% were not fun. In the operation of online learning media Wa and Zoom, 63.6% of students said they understood how to use them, while Gadgets (Hp) were the media that was often used with 72.2%. Limited quotas, slow networks and difficult to understand material are obstacles that students often experience during online learning at home. Giving assignments and examinations online 60.5% of students felt they did not understand and lacked enthusiasm for 62.7%, while during online learning Google classroom was the application most often used with 64.2%. Then 52.8% of the assignments became a model often used by teachers during online learning and online presentations, 21.3%. While the assignment given by the teacher when online was 47.5% for theory assignments and 22.2% of motion tasks. The conclusion in this study is based on the data and results that online learning for PJOK during COVID-19 class X SMA in Mrangggen sub-district is less effective from the various problems and obstacles that exist. Suggestions, to improve the online learning system so that it is easier to understand, learning during the COVID-19 pandemic can be done face-to-face or online and for further research to follow up on the factors of the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstrak Latar belakang masalah pada penelitian ini adalah berbagai kendala muncul dalam penerapan pembelajaran daring, mulai dari keterbatasan pada akses internet, kemampuan operasional dan pada fitur-fitur online. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas implementasi pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa SMA kelas X se-Kecamatan Mranggen mata pelajaran PJOK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey yang dilakukan secara online dengan penyebaran angket menggunakan google form. Teknik sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan cluster sampling. Kemudian setelah data telah  terkumpul, maka akan dianalisis dan di persentase untuk kemudian di deskripsikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelajaran PJOK dengan menggunakan pembelajaran daring 41,% mengatakan kurang di mengerti dan 52,2% tidak menyenangkan. Dalam pengoperasian media pembelajaran daring Wa, dan Zoom 63,6% siswa mengatakan mengerti dalam menggunakan nya, sementara Gadget (Hp) menjadi media yang sering digunakan dengan 72,2%. Kuota yang terbatas, jaringan yang lambat dan materi yang sulit dipahami menjadi kendala yang sering dialami siswa selama pembelajaran daring dirumah. Pemberian tugas dan ujian secara daring 60,5% siswa merasa kurang paham dan kurang semangat 62,7%, sedangkan selama pembelajaran daring google classroom menjadi aplikasi yang paling sering digunakan dengan 64,2%. Kemudian 52,8% penugasan menjadi model yang sering digunakan guru selama pembelajaran daring dan presentasi online 21,3%. Sementara penugasan yang diberikan guru ketika daring 47,5% tugas teori dan tugas gerak 22,2%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan data dan hasil bahwa pembelajaran daring PJOK selama COVID-19 kelas X SMA se-kecamatan Mrangggen kurang efektif dari berbagai permasalahan dan kendala yang ada. Saran, untuk meningkatkan sistem pembelajaran daring agar lebih mudah dipahami, pembelajaran selama pandemi COVID-19 dapat dilakukan dengan tatap muka atau secara daring dan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar ditindaklanjuti faktor-faktor proses pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi COVID-19.

This study was done to know the parents’ involvement on children’s education at elementary school in Omesuri, Lembata Regency. The aim of the study is to ascertain how does parental involvement on students elementary education. In this case study, a qualitative research was used. Data was gathered by interviewing parents of five differents elementary school in Omesuri, who all have children that have good achivement in academic. The study found that all participants are all highly involved with their children’s education. However, not all aspects the parents involved. There were three of six aspects that the parents involved, namely parenting, communication, and learning at home. While the other three aspects were not involved, namely volunteering, decision making, and collaborating with community. The study showed that parental involvement has positive effects on students’ academic achievement on Elementary Schools in Omesuri.

Juvenile delinquency is a behavior that can disturb the local people, especially parents who have adolescents. Parents who have adloescents will be more anxious and will treat their child in a overprotective way to keep their child from juvenile delinquency. This study aims to know the level of parental anxiety about juvenile delinquency phenomenon in Babakansari Kiaracondong Bandung.This study used quantitative descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The sample which was taken using proporsionate random sampling technique are 258 respondents. The data collection used State-Trait Anxiety for Adults. The results of this study indicate that in the state anxiety most respondents (55.8%) had moderate anxiety level. Whereas, in trait anxiety almost all respondents (76.0%) had moderate anxiety level.The conclusions in this study that the level of anxiety of parents who have adolescents to the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency in Babakansari village are at moderate level. Based on these results, there should be special attention from the government working with community mental nurses to provide interventions such as emotional control, information about juvenile delinquency and help parents develop their ability to resolve problems related to the anxiety.

Abstract Physical fitness is generally defined as the ability and ability of the body to make adjustments (adaptations) to the physical liberation given to it (from daily work) without causing excessive fatigue. Judging from the activities of the students every day it has been determined when they have to wake up early, then do the activities and go back to sleep again. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the level of physical fitness of students aged 12-16 years at Pondok Pesantren Addainuriyah 2 Pedurungan Semarang. This research is a research using a quantitative descriptive design with a survey method using a 2.4 km running instrument which is only done once. The population in this study were 200 students of the Pondok Pesantren Addainuriyah 2 Pedurungan Semarang. The sample taken was 30 students, using purposive sampling technique. For data analysis techniques using percentage descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the percentage of the results of the physical fitness level of male students at the age of 12-16 years at Pondok Pesantren Addainuriyah 2 Pedurungan Semarang which is included in the very good category 0 children with a percentage of 0%, good category 5 children with a percentage of 16.67% moderate category 10 children with a percentage of 33.33%, 15 children in deficient category with a percentage of 50.00%, very poor category 0 children with a percentage of 0%. The conclusion of this study shows that the average physical fitness level of students aged 12-16 years is 13.93, including in the moderate category (S). Keywords: physical fitness, santri, Islamic boarding school Abstrak Kebugaran jasmani umumnya diartikan sebagai kesanggupan dan kemampuan tubuh melakukan penyesuaian (adaptasi) terhadap pembebasan fisik yang diberikan kepadanya (dari kerja yang dilakukan sehari-hari) tanpa menimbulkan kelelahan yang berlebihan. Ditinjau dari kegiatan santri setiap harinya sudah ditentukan kapan merekan harus bangun pagi, lalu melakukan aktifitas dan kembali tidur lagi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada santri usia 12-16 tahun di Pondok Pesantren Addainuriyah 2 Pedurungan Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang menggunakan intrumen lari 2,4 Km yang hanya dilakukan sebanyak satu kali. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah santri pondok pesantren addainuriyah 2 pedurungan semarang yang berjumlah 200 orang santri. Sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 30 santri, dengan menggunkan teknik purposive sampling. Untuk teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa presentase hasil tingkat kebugaran jasmani santri putra pada usia 12-16 tahun di pondok pesantren addainuriyah 2 pedurungan semarang yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali 0 anak dengan presentase 0%, kategori baik 5 anak dengan presentase 16,67% kategori sedang 10 anak dengan presentase 33,33%, kategori kurang 15 anak dengan presentase 50,00%, kategori sangat kurang 0 anak dengan presentase 0%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan hasil rata –rata tingkat kebugaran jasmani santri usia 12-16 tahun sebesar 13,93 termasuk dalam kategori sedang (S). ABSTRAK stra Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana pembentukan karakter kerjasama melalui sepakbola usia dini pada liga Indonesia Junior Soccer League. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga bulan Mei 2018 yang berlokasi di Jakarta Japanese Club Sports Community Sentul Bogor, Kabupaten Bogor. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei, yaitu dengan menggunakan kuesioner pembentukan karakter kerjasama. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua atau wali peserta turnamen Indonesia Junior Soccer League yang berjumlah 1000 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah insidental sampling, yaitu yang dijadikan sampel adalah orang tua atau wali dari peserta liga Indonesia Junior Soccer League yang peneliti temui secara kebetulan sebanyak 368 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Instrumen yang telah tersusun tersebut dikonsultasikan kepada ahli, selanjutnya dilakukan uji validitas dengan hasil rtabel 0,254 dan rtotal 0,66 dan reliabilitas sebesar 0,84. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter kerjasama melalui sepakbola usia dini pada liga Indonesia Junior Soccer League berada pada kategori rendah atau buruk sebanyak 16 orang (4,35%) terhadap pembentukan karakter kerjasama, sebanyak 192 orang (52,17%) memiliki pengetahuan yang sedang atau cukup terhadap pembentukan karakter kerjasama, sebanyak 147 orang (39,95%) memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi atau baik terhadap pembentukan karakter kerjasama dan sebanyak 13 orang (3,53%) memiliki pengetahuan yang sangat tinggi atau baik sekali terhadap pembentukan karakter kerjasama.   Kata kunci: Pembentukan Karakter, Kerjasama, Sepakbola, Usia Dini   ABSTRACT                 This study aims to find out how far the formation of the character of cooperation through early soccer in the league of Indonesia Junior Soccer League. The research was conducted from March to May 2018 located at Jakarta Japanese Club Sports Community Sentul Bogor, Bogor District. The method used in this research is survey method, that is by using questionnaire forming character of cooperation. The population in this study is the parents or guardians of the participants of the Indonesia Junior Soccer League tournament which amounted to 1000 people. The sampling technique in this research is incidental sampling, which is taken as sample is the parent or guardian of the Indonesian league participants Junior Soccer League who researchers meet by chance as much as 368 people.               This research is quantitative descriptive. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Instrument that has been arranged was consulted to the expert, then tested the validity with the result rtabel 0,254 and rtotal 0,66 and reliability equal to 0,84. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis with percentage.                The results showed that the formation of the character of cooperation through early soccer in the league Indonesia Junior Soccer League is in the category of low or bad as many as 16 people (4.35%) on the formation of cooperation character, as many as 192 people (52.17%) have knowledge of being or enough to form the character of cooperation, as many as 147 people (39.95%) have a high knowledge or good on the formation of character cooperation and as many as 13 people (3.53%) have a very high knowledge or excellent on the formation of the character of cooperation trak Keywords: Partner Character, Teamplay, Football, Early Age Birds
