Automating scheduling is a classic task in learning management systems. The process of scheduling is, in a sense, the final one in the chain of support of educational activities, and its automation reveals all inconsistencies and shortcomings of the previous processes. In order for the scheduling to be automated as much as possible, a lot of various initial information should be processed in the information systems of the university — curricula, staff, workload, schedule of the educational process, contingent of students, classroom fund. It is especially difficult for universities with educational programs of various orientations — natural science, humanitarian, creative, etc., which have specific principles for organizing and conducting classes. The level of automation of educational activities at Dostoevsky Omsk State University, a classical university with a wide variety of types of educational programs, made it possible to tackle the task of scheduling. However, during the implementation of the automated scheduling system, the project team faced a number of problems. The article describes the results of the project for the transition to an electronic schedule in Dostoevsky Omsk State University using the circulation software product 1C:Automated scheduling. University based on the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 system. Initial data on the individual workload of teachers, the classroom fund, the list of student groups, and the list of disciplines were loaded into the configuration from the existing information system of design of Dostoevsky Omsk State University. Based on the results of the audit of the downloaded reference information, the initial data, including curricula, were normalized. The compiled schedule in two modes (manual and automatic) was published on the official website of the university and is used to operate a chatbot on the VKontakte network to inform students and teachers about upcoming classes.

Professional socialization of future graduates of the pedagogical university is aimed at the formation of competencies essential for the practical activity and solution of vital tasks. One of the components of successful professional activity is the willingness for continuing education. The subject of this research is the phenomenon of continuous pedagogical education as the value. Globalization has encompasses all segments of life of the modern society, including education. The rapidly changing world with its uncertainty imposes new requirements on the system of vocational training. A modern specialist is no longer narrow-focused, but is capable of solving complex and versatile tasks, which is facilitated by constant striving for new knowledge using various forms of learning. However, this is only possible with realization by the individual of the need for continuing education and its utility in different axiological coordinates. For the analysis of axiological basis of continuing education, the author surveyed the students of pedagogical university to determine their perception of continuing education as a personal meaningful value that contributes to the achievement of certain career results. The acquired results on the one hand demonstrate the the vagueness of the concept of “continuing education” for the university students; while on the other hand, prove the hypothesis on the need and importance of continuing education for the pedagogues, but at the same time the unwillingness of the future specialists to consider it as the value of life. The presented materials allow adjusting the educational process of future pedagogues and their motivation for continuing education, since the pedagogical classes to Master’s Degree.

The contemporary stage of education reform puts high demands on teacher training and on mastering the newest teaching techniques and technologies. All over the globe, there is a search for new education systems that are more democratic, diversified and effective from the standpoint of the interests of the individual and society. This requires, on the one hand, new, more efficient ways of organizing the educational process at the university, in particular, reviewing the structure and content of the methodological training of students. On the other hand, the very concept of “professional pedagogical activity of a teacher” is currently undergoing certain changes. This study aimed to identify how effectively will the methodological training of future mathematics teachers increase based on the introduction of innovative techniques and teaching methods and how the methodology of teaching mathematical disciplines in the conditions of innovation may be improved. Two hundred thirteen people took part in the experimental work, including teachers of mathematics and full-time students, undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as young teachers of the university. The results of the ascertaining experiment became the basis for revising the purposes of the methodological and professional training of future mathematics teachers and made it possible conclude on the necessity of improvement of the system-methodological support for teaching mathematical disciplines in higher education. Because of this, the training of a mathematics teacher should form them as a knowledgeable mathematician, as a person with a high pedagogical and general culture, who, by teaching, would educate the younger generation in the spirit of modernity. It can be assumed that the content of courses in a pedagogical university in mathematical disciplines should, for instance, at a modern academic level, cover those matters that the teacher communicates at school.

The model of a modern University is characterized by the formalization of its activities within the framework of implementing specific educational programs through the educational process and focusing on the final result in the form of a competitive specialist. As a result, the universal values, the spirit of participation in the acquisition of new knowledge, which were present in previous generations of universities, are leveled. However, the students’ needs in their personal development remain at the present time. This leads to the search for new forms and the use of new technologies to meet this need. Based on the research, the authors propose a Lectures model as one of these forms, which includes scientific and methodological, practice-oriented and personal-development components. This is where the spirit of the University as an element of Higher education, the tasks of the University as an educational organization to train competitive specialists and the needs of the individual in self-development can be realized. Considering the development of information and educational technologies, it is necessary to apply them actively in the already available instruments of the Higher School. The educational process should become interesting, interactive, covering various aspects of the studied disciplines as much as possible. But at the same time, the educational process should not lose its main purpose - the formation of new knowledge and the upbringing of a socially active and positive personality. Taking into account the development of science and technology it is these two components that the Lectures are directed towards.
