Body flexibility is one of the factors that greatly helps physical health because it can help in prevention, help restore muscle, and improve efficiency in various physical activities. One method to measure the body speed level is Sit and Reach Test using the Sit and Reach Box Scale measurement tool. Technically, this measuring instrument is still manual, simple and its production is still very limited. Therefore we need a measuring device to use electronic components to help process better and better in terms of which can be adjusted to good or bad by using the parameter norm Sit and Reach Test. The purpose of this study is to design a flexibility measuring instrument using a microcontroller based proximity sensor. This tool works with the arduino unu microcontroller as the main controller, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor as a distance reader for body flexibility, LED indicators and speakers as a sign of body flexibility, then LCD and delphi 7 applications using serial communication as a display of body flexibility.

The effect of alcohol on health is very large if you consume too much, and the fact that excessive alcohol levels can interfere with digestion can cause eye function disorders, decreased brain and nerve function as well as cancer. Knowing the alcohol content in fruits that are suitable for consumption by the body from an early age is very important. Based on this problem, this study aims to create a prototype measuring instrument for the alcohol content of fruits using the Blynk application. This circuit consists of 3 circuits, namely the input part in the form of an Mq3 sensor, the control part in the form of Nodemcu, and the output port in the form of the Blynk application. From the results of testing tools for four samples including durian, grapes, papaya, and apples for 25 times the test of the fruit is peeled for the next 2 hours the average percentage of durian alcohol content is 28.57%, grapes are 12.68%, papaya is 5.79 %, and apples by 18.6%. In this study, there is also the notification facility to the third smartphone that the alcohol content exceeds the alcohol content which is not good from the value set on the device.

In modern life, people generally try to accomplish too much in too little time, consequently they accumulate a lot of stress in their lives. In that time, yoga plays an important role to alleviate the stress and rejuvenate the body. In the times, yoga was a form of Bhakti. Rishi Patanjali, rightly called the father of yoga, who around 200 b.c. gave us the present literary form of yoga doctrine in his famous treaties Yoga Sutra. In modern times, the value of yoga is being increasingly recognized for general and it’s preventive and curative effects. Yoga does not conceive man having a physical body but on the contrary, it emphasizes the greater values of the mind which characterizes his personality, Thus, yoga leads to ultimate physical health and happiness together with the achieve of mental and patience.

Abstract Contemporary approaches to “non-market accounting” depend critically on methods of “monetization”, i.e. determining prices for goods outside the market. Monetization constitutes a case of economic measurement in a narrow sense that has not yet been analysed in the literature on measurement in economics. Monetization, I will argue, uses homo economicus – originally created as a model to explain existing prices – as a measuring device, one that generates new prices for goods that are not traded on markets. Homo economicus, though long contested in microeconomics, is thus enjoying a dubious revival in non-market accounting.

Physical activity participation is a non-pharmaceutical intervention that can be utilized to maintain and improve cognitive function in aging adults. Although simple physical activities yield positive results in regards to cognitive function, cognitively and motorically complex physical activities may have an even greater benefit on neuroplasticity for older adults. Commercially available products such as physical activity apps or exergames offer this population a means to engage in regular physical activity on their own. However, a taxonomy is necessary to help distinguish simpler physical activities from more complex physical activities. The taxonomy proposed in this paper carefully considers the following characteristics: the stability or transport of the body, object manipulation, intertrial variability, the environmental context and the reaction or to others. The dimensions of the taxonomy are operationally defined and practical applications are provided.

Abstract This study analyzed the relations between social representations of the body and the body care practices of older adults. Forty older adults, with ages varying from 60 to 84 years (M = 69; SD = 7), matched by sex, took part in the study. The data were collected by means of in-depth thematic interviews, with the corpus analyzed using the IRaMuTeQ software. Differences between men and women were verified in representational contents and body practices. The male participants’ social representations of the body were associated with biological functionality and health concerns, while the women emphasized the importance of physical appearance in their social relationships. Regarding body care practices, there was a higher incidence of food concerns in the men and the performance of physical activities in the women. Therefore, the results indicated that the body care practices vary according to the socials representations of the body and the sex of the participant.

Physical Education as a subject – much like other subjects – has its own literary and educational content and the primary goal is the transference of that knowledge. In this respect, it is but one subject. At the same time it is unique, being the only subject dedicated to improving the body and the physique, yet “when we talk about the internal values of physical education, we only refer to its own literary and educational content. The meaning of this phrase includes the system of movement-based activities as well as the related intellectual knowledge” (RÉTSÁGI, 2011). During a Physical Education lesson students learn and practice movement-based activities, the importance of which is to improve their motor abilities, physical fitness (MÜLLER et al., 2013. MÜLLER et al., 2017) and mental health (BORBÉLY – MÜLLER, 2008). It may facilitate the prevention of numerous deformities or ailments, thus contributing to the preserving and of one’s health (MOSONYI et al., 2013., MÜLLER, 2015). For the past few years, multinational food companies (e.g. Danone and Nestlé) have also realized this, as they began to promote various programmes to support the regular physical activities of schoolchildren (RÁTHONYI – ODOR – RÁTHONYI, 2016). Physical Education in schools can only be considered effective if students come to appreciate and begin to feel the need for regular physical activities. For that purpose PE lessons are needed to be filled with content that is serious, requires effort (i.e. it should be a challenge that inspires improvement), but at the same time, it provides every student with feelings of success and enjoyment. This work, which at many times adapts to vastly different students (i.e. differentiates), is the duty of sports specialists and PE teachers (H. EKLER, 2013).
