This article is about to discover the concept of rural tourism developmental strategies based on rural and local wisdom in the Island of Bawean in Gresik Regency. The research uses qualitative mrthod in which the mapping and inventory of primary data sources of rural based potential tourism with local wisdom are taken. The results show that the tourist potentialities among others are: (1) natural potencies of tourism which include Lake Kastoba, the Gili Island, the Cina Island, Noko Island, Nyimas Beach, Mayangkara Beach , Laccar waterfall, Pattar Selamat waterfall, Sangkapura hot spring; (2) Religion (historical) tourism potencies including Jherat lanjeng (Long Ceemetery), Siti Zaenab Waliyullah Cemetery, the Cemetery of Maulana Umar Mas'ud, Kercengan arts and culture, Mandailing arts and culture, and there is also Deer breeding of local type, typical culinary, woven mats made of pandan leaves and so much more. This research suggests that the regional Government of Gresik (Regional Tourism Agency) and Provincial Tourism Office of East Java have to promote their tourism potentials as a sustainable flagship program.

This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.

The purpose – The purpose of this paper is to research the role of marketing concept in the process of the sustainable rural tourism development. Design – The special focus is given to analysis of the factors that influence the implementation of marketing philosophy in tourism and its specifics in area of rural tourism. Methodology – Using available secondary and primary data from government bodies and relevant international organisations, several factors are identified that affect the implementation of marketing philosophy in area of rural tourism. Followed by qualitative analysis, these factors are analyses in details in order to provide the ideas for future development.The development of information technology, competition and growth in its global character, the new buyer and the need for sustainable development are just some of the factors that determine a new way of keeping the rural tourism business. Approach – Implementation of marketing philosophy in rural tourism is examined on the level of tourist destination, due to importance of cooperation and coordination on this macro level for the sustainable development of the rural tourism. Findings – Key findings indicate that marketing in rural tourism should be seen as a means to achieve development of strategic goals of rural tourist destinations, such as: long-term prosperity, guest satisfaction, profit maximization, extension of the tourist season, neutralizing the negative social impacts, stabilization of employment, support and further diversification of existing economic activity, temporal and spatial redistribution of tourist demand etc. Therefore, marketing cannot be understood simply as propaganda or simply as printing leaflets, but as a platform for defining business objectives and strategies, and creation of tourist products which deliver unique experience to consumers and generate profit for rural tourism destination. The originality of this research – The originality comes from the analysis of the specifics of marketing implementation in rural tourism.

The tourism village is one alternative tourism that is currently growing in the Bali tourism industry, and one of them is the Kaba - Kaba Tourism Village. Kaba Tourism Village - Kaba is a tourism village that has just been established by the Regional Government of Tabanan Regency, so that currently Kaba - Kaba Village is still preparing itself to become a tourist attraction, so this research is important to know how the management that takes place in the Kaba Tourism Village - Kaba so that the village is ready to promote itself as one of the tourist attractions in Tabanan Regency. In this study using primary data sources obtained directly by observation and interviews, and data analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative analysis by reducing the data which is then presented and concluded. The results of this study note that the management of the Kaba - Kaba Tourism Village is fully managed by the Pokdarwis. The manager of the Kaba - Kaba Tourism Village is expected to be able to promote and operate the Kaba - Kaba Tourism Village faster. Keyword: Manajement, Kaba – kaba Tourism Village

Attractions Puger Beach in Jember District, East Java Province. Puger Beach 35 km northwest of the city of Jember known as a fish auction, will Puger Beach has a very interesting beauty with a large waves also can be used for surfing. Another potential that can be developed is the island of Nusa Barong is located not far from Puger Beach, Development of attractions that must be done with more focused and sustainable.The formulation of this research is how is the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists in Jember District Government? So the purpose of the research is to analyze the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews to tourism managers, the public. Related offices and visitors who are in the location of research, while secondary data obtained from BPS, Department of Culture and Tourism Kab. Jember, libraries and internet, data analysis techniques used using Descriptive Analysis method while to obtain tourism development strategy using SWOT analysis.Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded tourism object. Puger Beach can be developed using aspects of attractiveness, accessibility aspects, aspects of activities and facilities, social, economic and cultural aspects. The article describes the development of the tourism industry on the use of tourism resources as the basis for the formation of the tourist product. The peculiarities of the formation of the tourism industry in Khmelnitsky region have been revealed. The definition of the concept of “tourism resources” has been offered. The list of nature monuments, historical and cultural monuments, and state reserves has been used. It is noted that historical-cultural and agricultural sights of the region are included in the State registry. The regional problems of tourism development and the reasons that hamper the development at the tourism industry have been analyzed. The implementation and realization of the program of tourism development in Khmelnytskyi region for 2013-2015 have been disclosed, it was developed in accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine “Of Tourism”, the regional development Strategy of Khmelnytsyi region for 2011-2020, the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “Of Approval of Strategy of Development of Tourism and Resorts”. Among other important factors restraining the development of the tourism industry relate to the marketing component of tourism policy, which should be called the underdevelopment of the information infrastructure of tourist business, which makes domestic and foreign tourists to quickly obtain useful information about tourist and recreational potential of Ukraine, book in advance and book travel services. The factors that constrain the development of the tourism industry have been shown. They relate to the marketing component of tourism policy and they are component of the development of the tourism industry in Khmelnytskyi region. The natural potential of the National Park “Podilski Tovtry” has been in details. Today, especially increase the importance of regional tourism policy, Khmelnytsky region is one of the perspective regions of tourism development our country. This is due to the favorable peculiarities of its geographical location, favorable climate, and rich natural resources, historical-cultural and tourist-recreational complex, which would satisfy the needs of the population in sanatorium-resort treatment, recreation and tourism.

Puru Beach has the potential to attract tourists to visit. But lack of adequate facilities, poor road access, no attractive tourist attractions, minimal Human Resources (HR) managers, and no active role of local government so that it becomes problems to development of Puru Beach. The purpose of this research is to determine the community based tourism development strategy in Puru Beach. This research used a qualitative research method with the technique of taking informants using purposive sampling technique. Data collections in this research used primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation studies. The analytical tool used to formulate community based tourism development strategies on Puru Beach is SWOT Analysis by looking at internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats) that exist in Puru Beach. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis community based tourism development strategies in Puru Beach can be formulated to make Puru Beach a Sport Tourism, increase promotional media through social media, increase human resources (HR), add supporting facilities, encouraging local governments to improve road access, collaborating with local governments, optimizing tourism awareness groups on Puru Beach, and maintaining cultural values.

The writing of this research aims to explain the management and impact of waqf for education in SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro City. As for the background in this writing is the demands and expectations of the community for the greater quality of education but the capacity of the government is not yet worth the demand of the community. So the waqf movement became one of the alternatives offered to answer the challenge. Waqf movement, especially in SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan aims to improve the quality of education in accordance with Muhammadiyah jargon namely "advanced education". This research is a qualitative study with this type of case study research.  The data sources in this study consist of primary data sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques are conducted in the form of observations, interviews and documentation. The methods of data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this study show that the waqf movement in SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro City is supported not only by Muhammadiyah cadres but from sympathizers and the general public. The waqf development strategy carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Kota Metro consists of (1) the conversion (substitution) of waqf assets, (2) promotion and socialization, (3) the management of waqf assets by prioritizing the allocation of waqf with regard to the 2015-2027 plan, (4) establishing partnerships and (5) strengthening the teachings of Al-Ma'un Muhammadiyah. The impact of waqf has a profound effect on the quality of education such as the improvement of school facilities and the education system in the school. Keywords: Waqf Muhammadiyah, Advanced Education Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  memaparkan pengelolaan dan dampak wakaf bagi pendidikan di SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Kota Metro. Adapun yang menjadi latar belakang dalam penulisan ini adalah tuntutan dan harapan masyarakat akan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih besar namun kapasitas yag dimiliki pemerintah belum sepadan dengan permintaan masyarakat. Sehingga gerakan wakaf menjadi salah satu alternative yang ditawarkan untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut. Gerakan wakaf khususnya di SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sesuai dengan jargon Muhammadiyah yakni “pendidikan berkemajuan”.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus.  Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari sumber data primer dansumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis data yang dilakukan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gerakan wakaf di SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Kota Metro tidak hanya didukung oleh kader Muhammadiyah saja melainkan dari simpatisan dan masyarakat umum. Adapun strategi pengembangan wakaf yang dilakukan di SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Kota Metro terdiri dari (1) penukaran (substitusi) harta wakaf, (2) promosi dan sosialisasi, (3) pengelolaan harta wakaf dengan memprioritaskan alokasi wakaf dengan memperhatikan renstra tahun 2015-2027, (4) menjalin kemitraan dan (5) Memperkuat ajaran Al-Ma’un Muhammadiyah. Dampak wakaf sangat berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan seperti peningkatan fasilitas sekolah dan sistem pendidikan di sekolah tersebut.

The purpose of this research is to know community participation in managing Bongkasa Pertiwi Village in Badung Regency. In this study using primary data sources and secondary data sources, while the type of data used is qualitative data. Methods of data collection through observation, interview and documentation study. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis technique and constrained by 4A concept, rural tourism concept, management concept and society participation concept. The research results obtained is Public participation is not optimal in managing tourist village, lack of public participation in planning, organizing, implementation and supervision because of the weakness of role of tourism village manager, low quality of human resources, socio-economic life of the community and lack of cooperation. The article focuses on the financial aspect of regional tourism development, with Yaroslavl oblast selected as a case study. In the article, the author proposes a practical approach to the identification of the financial flow influenced and generated by regional tourism development. The author states that the financial flow consists of two components: financial provision/assurance (the funds required for policy measures implementation) and tourist turnover (tourism-generated income, which is tourism contribution to the gross regional product). Financial provision/assurance is regarded as part of the resources provision intended for policy measures, the author demonstrates the possible approaches to its specification and dwells on the approach taken to develop the target project “Tourism development strategies for Yaroslavl oblast: period of implementation – up to 2025”. The author also provides an evaluation of tourist turnover as predicted for Yaroslavl oblast, with due consideration given to the tourism development policy measures implementation in the framework of scenarios proposed. In particular, the author describes different approaches to predicted tourist-arrival volume evaluation, demonstrates calculations of future tourist expenses, and provides a description of two alternatives for tourist turnover calculation. Moreover, the author puts forth a methodology of tourist turnover prediction based on practical calculations and regarded from a strategic perspective. Thus, the author attempts to specify the calculation procedure, which is prerequisite for effective policy decision-making and regional tourism development strategy formulation. The author insists on the urgent nature of the issues raised in the article, especially in the light of the current trends in global tourism development.
