This essay is about the differences in the description of the upper story of the peritoneal cavity, the omental bursa and omental (epiploic) foramen, which connects the omental bursa (lesser sac) with the rest of the peritoneal cavity (greater sac). The difference in the description of the omental bursa causes misunderstanding during the study of the topic «The stories of the peritoneal cavity». The misunderstanding is especially well expressed when we teach the foreign students because there is a great difference in the description of the omental bursa in Russian and English literature. That is why we decided to analyze the data of the omental bursa in different literal sources. We analyzed 11 textbooks, 5 of the mare Russian and 6 of the mare English, most useful for the students during the preparing the material for Anatomy classes. The results are given in tables.

Рассмотрены вопросы довузовской подготовки иностранных студентов на примере обучения в Ярославской государственной сельскохозяйственной академии. Проведён сравнительный анализ уровней математической подготовки в национальных африканских школах, школах (вузах) Ближнего Востока и в российских школах. Автором на основе опыта преподавания выявлен ряд проблем у иностранных граждан, приехавших в Россию для обучения на подготовительном отделении вуза: слабое владение русским языком в целом, и математическим русским языком в частности; незнание математической лексики и терминологии; различие в уровнях базовой математической подготовки у обучающихся из разных стран; адаптационные трудности. В то же время проведённый опрос иностранных слушателей позволяет сделать вывод, что изучение математики вызывает у них меньше трудностей, чем изучение других специальных предметов (физика, химия, биология). Анализ уровня математической подготовки у иностранных студентов, обучающихся на подготовительном отделении академии, показал, что он достаточно высокий, выше среднего. The questions of pre-university training of foreign students on the example of training at the Yaroslavl State Agricultural Academy have been considered. A comparative analysis of the levels of mathematical training in national African schools, schools (universities) of the Middle East and Russian schools has been carried out. Based on the teaching experience the author revealed a number of problems for foreign residents come to Russia to study at the preparatory department of the university: poor knowledge of the Russian language in general and the mathematical Russian language in particular, lack of knowledge of mathematical vocabulary and terminology, differences in the levels of basic mathematical training among students from different countries, adaptation difficulties. At the same time a survey of foreign students allows us to conclude that the study of mathematics causes them less difficulty than the study of other special subjects (physics, chemistry, biology). An analysis of the level of mathematical training of foreign students studying at the preparatory department of the academy showed that it was quite high above average.

Comparative analysis of the specifics of representation of the concept of LERNEN as a cognitive dominant of the educational discourse in the modern German language textbooks of elementary level for foreigners was carried out. The aim of this research is to identify lexical elements marking the educational discourse of Germany and verbalizing the concept of LERNEN in the textbooks. In line with this aim, the following tasks were set: to reveal and categorize lexical elements representing the concept of LERNEN in all structural components of the selected textbooks; to quantify the revealed representatives and show their relations graphically; to perform both qualitative and comparative analysis of the representatives of the thematic groups of each textbook separately and in comparison with each other. The main method used during the research was conceptual analysis of the educational discourse on the basis of the textbooks of elementary level. The obtained results demonstrate that the representatives of the concept of LERNEN can be divided into 13 thematic groups. Their quantitative ratio was established on the basis of the textbooks. The thematic groups with a predominant number of representatives were determined. All lexical elements representing the concept of LERNEN were qualitatively investigated and their positions in the educational discourse were established. We found the ways of representing the concept of LERNEN as a large and crucial cognitive dominant and marking it with the help of the studied representatives associated with not only the modern educational discourse in the field of foreign languages learning, but also with the educational policy of Germany in general, which is highly relevant because of the high attraction and active influx of foreign students, tourists, and migrants to Germany. The results obtained are of great importance for further research of the cognitive basis of modern German language textbooks.

In Russian and Persian, the category of indirect evidentiality points out to some unreliable source of information. The category of admirativity expresses unexpected and new information gained by the speaker. Such interrogative sentences convey combine admirativity with diff erent modal meanings. Foreign students of Russian often fi nd it hard to distinguish these meanings in Russian interrogative sentences. The authors compared Russian and Persian interrogative sentences and the linguistics tools that refl ect the admirative category with an assessment of modal meanings of possibility and motivation. This is the fi rst research of the category of admirativity in the Persian language and the fi rst publication on the comparison of Russian and Persian interrogative sentences, as well as on the relationship between admirativity and modal meanings in Russian and Persian interrogative sentences. The research objective was to perform a comparative analysis of admirativity in Russian and Persian interrogative sentences and to study the situations in which this meaning conveys the surprise of the speaker from the availability or lack of possibility to perform a certain action. In both languages, admirativity can accompany the feeling of motivation in the subject of the speech act. The findings can be useful in teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Introducción: En este estudio se investigan los efectos de la crisis económica en los flujos migratorios internacionales. Específicamente, se realiza un análisis comparado sobre los comportamientos en la movilidad residencial de los principales grupos de residentes a partir de las Estadísticas de Variaciones Residenciales (EVR) de 2005 a 2010 en Alicante.Método: Se analizan los microdatos de las EVR para comparar las entradas y salidas de inmigrantes procedentes de los países que aglutinan a las personas que se trasladan orientadas por motivos más cercanos a la esfera del ocio que a la del trabajo, con el grupo de nacionalidades que concentra a la mayoría de los inmigrantes laborales que llegaron atraídos por las ofertas de empleo generadas con la expansión del sector inmobiliario.Resultados: Entre los años 2007 y 2009 se redujeron mucho las variaciones residenciales de entrada en la provincia Alicante desde el extranjero, mientras que se incrementaron las variaciones relacionadas con las salidas. Aunque existen diferencias en el balance de entradas y salidas según la zona de la provincia, la nacionalidad y la edad de los migrantes, la crisis parece asociarse con una tendencia a la reducción del número de residentes extranjeros en general.Discusión o Conclusión: Se concluye que la crisis no sólo ha generado un éxodo de los ciudadanos con menos recursos económicos, también ha provocado la salida masiva de aquellos otros inmigrantes cuya presencia en España se asocia con el consumo. Introduction: The economic crisis effects on the international migration flows are examined in this study. Specifically we carry out a comparative analysis of the residential mobility patterns of the main groups of residents from the Residential Variation Statistics since 2005 to 2010 in Alicante.Method: We compare the cluster of immigrants from countries where people move for leisure-oriented reasons and the group of nationalities that concentrates most labour migrants, attracted by the jobs that the expansion of the real state sector generated.Results: Between 2007 and 2009, there was a large reduction in the entry of foreigners to Alicante province. At the same time, our analysis shows that more foreigners left the province. Although there are differences in the balance of entries and departures by region, nationality and age of migrants, the economic crisis appears to be associated with a clear negative generalized balance affecting all profiles of foreigners.Discussion or Conclusion: We conclude that the crisis has not only led to an exodus of citizens with less economic resources, it has also caused the mass departure of those other immigrants whose presence in Spain is associated with consumption.

A working mechanism during the comparative analysis of phraseological units and paroemias (proverbs and aphorisms) at the classes of Russian as foreign language with English speaking learners is presented in the article. While working in the audience, the attention is being paid to the comparative analysis of phraseological units and paroemias in Russian and foreign students’ native language from a semantical point of view. Such concepts and ideas as family, homeland, work / service / profession, studying, friendship, human flaws and virtues, represented in the proverbs and paroemias, are being analyzed. The similarities and differences in semantic field of phraseological units and paroemias of different cultures’ speakers are found. A parallel attitude to the main categories as family, home and friendship among Russian and English speakers is shown up. During a comparative analysis, it is being observed that in definite cases similar meanings can be expressed by different lexis typical for the concrete nation. Studying of this topic promotes the dialogue of cultures.

The article deals with international migration for educational purposes in Czechia. Czechia receives an increasing number of foreign students mainly from Slovakia, Russia, the Ukraine and Belarus who come to study bachelor and master programmes in the Czech language. The share offoreign students in the total student population in Czechia is 7.5 % (2005-2006). The survey based on electronic questionnaire was performed among foreign students at the University of Economics, Prague in spring 2006 with the objective to confirm the hypothesis on motivation for studying in Czechia and plans after graduation. The first part of the article briefly summarizes theoretical and empirical findings and the second part analyses the survey results.

Introduction. The actual problem of organizing the process of foreign language teaching in modern conditions is the selection and application of appropriate information technologies to increase students' motivation, form an interest in learning a foreign language, implement pedagogical tasks, optimize the learning process and carry out regular interaction with students within the educational process. At the same time, it is important to take into account the preference of the students themselves to choose one or another technology, since a significant part of Chinese students who learn Russian in China then continue studying it in Russian universities. The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative analysis between foreign students studying in Russian and Chinese universities on the preferences in the use of modern information technology, as well as the way of interaction with the teacher when studying Russian. Research methods. The study involved 417 foreign students from Russian and Chinese universities. The main methods of research: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, survey method, comparative analysis method. The φ-Fisher's test was used to establish statistically significant differences between the two groups. Results. International students from Russian universities use educational videos on the Russian language more often than students from Chinese universities (φemp = 3.591; p < 0.01). The educational platform Coursera is more often used by students studying at Chinese universities (φemp = 3.632; p < 0.01). Mobile applications were more frequently used by Chinese university students (φemp = 4.048; p < 0.01). There were no significant differences between the two groups in the frequency of use of voice assistants, online excursions and virtual travel services, educational environments, web quests, and educational podcasts during the study. The study of students' preferences in choosing a method of interaction with the teacher showed that 70% like to communicate with the teacher via messengers and 52% of respondents are ready to communicate with the teacher via videoconferencing. However, on average 85% responded that they prefer to study Russian in the classroom. Conclusion. The results of the study can be taken into account by teachers working with Chinese students when choosing modern information technologies, as well as ways of interaction with students in the framework of Russian language teaching.

The article is devoted to the description of a synonymous series of Russian verbs with a dominant idle against the background of the Vietnamese language for further presentation of Russian units in a Vietnamese audience. The approaches to the study of synonymous units traditionally highlighted in Russian linguistics are considered. The relevance of an integrative approach to the analysis of synonyms for linguodidactic purposes is substantiated. The novelty of the study is that such a comprehensive approach allows us to analyze synonyms at the level of the language system, discourse and language consciousness of native speakers. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the synonymous row under study is included in the lexico-semantic group of behavior verbs, nuclear for the Russian language, as well as the lack of training dictionaries of Russian synonyms for foreign students. The authors determine the structure of the studied synonymic row in the Russian language, analyze the semantics, typical situations of use, the stylistic classification of units according to the components that make up the synonymic series. Particular attention is paid to data from a survey of native Russian speakers. A comparative analysis of Russian synonyms and their translation equivalents in the Vietnamese language is presented. Relevant parameters of the characteristics of the members of the synonymous row are identified to optimize the work with these units in the Vietnamese audience. Linguistic and methodological recommendations on the presentation of Russian synonyms in a Vietnamese audience are offered.

The dynamics of internal and international migration processes in the Russian Federation in 2015–2019 is studied. The results of a comparative statistical study carried out for three process indicators and 120 factors are presented. The indicators for 2020 are not included in the comparative analysis, as they are not typical for Russia and are caused by the pandemic.
