The study aimed to determine the effect of environmental optimism, as a cognitive–emotional factor, on the responsible use of electricity. Furthermore, it investigated the moderating effect of consumer concern on the price of electricity. An online survey was conducted on 345 young adults in Jakarta selected through the snowball sampling method. Data were analyzed using JASP version 15.0 and IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 reinforced with PROCESS macro. Simple linear regression analysis demonstrated that environmental optimism significantly explains the variance in electricity conservation behavior. The moderating effect of price concern was also substantiated by the result of the data analysis, thus the interaction between environmental optimism and dichotomous predictors of price concern (i.e. high vs low) was found to be statistically significant in moderating the effect of environmental optimism toward electricity conservation behavior. In conclusion, when consumers are initially dominated by price concern (a rational extrinsic motivator), then it reduces the effect of environmental optimism (an emotional intrinsic motivator) on responsible electricity consumption.

Introduction: There is evidence that non-sterile clinical gloves (NSCG) are over-used by healthcare workers (HCWs) and are associated with cross-contamination. This study aimed to determine attitudes of student nurses and members of the public to the use of NSCG. Methods: Third-year student nurses completed a questionnaire indicating tasks for which they would wear NSCG and influences on their decision. Correlations between tasks were identified using exploratory factor analysis. An online survey of the public was conducted using snowball sampling method. Results: Sixty-seven students completed the questionnaire; they indicated use of NSCG for low-risk tasks and reported their own judgement as the main influence on their decision to wear them. Correlated tasks included ‘perceived to be risky’ or ‘definitive indication for gloves/no gloves’ and ‘related to personal hygiene’. A total of 142 respondents completed the public survey. They reported being uncomfortable with HCW wearing gloves for some personal tasks, e.g. assisting to toilet and dressing, but 94% preferred their use for washing ‘private parts’; 29% had observed inappropriate glove use by HCWs during recent contact with healthcare. Conclusion: Student nurses reported using NSCG routinely for tasks for which they are neither required nor recommended. The public observe inappropriate glove use and are uncomfortable with their use for some personal tasks.

This study aims to investigate the effect of job crafting practices on job outcomes (work engagement and job satisfaction). This research was conducted on workers at Perseroan Terbatas (PT). Petra Arun Gas (PAG) with a working population of 180 people. Samples were taken as many as 123 people based on Krejcie and Morgan Sample Tables (in Sekaran & Bougie, 2009, pp. 254-255). The selection of sample members was carried out using the simple random sampling method. Primary data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to all samples. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis tools with the help of SPSS. The results of the research data analysis show that job crafting has a significant effect on the two dependent constructs, namely work engagement and job satisfaction.

Investment is a form of investment or capital to generate wealth, which will be able to provide returns, both present and future. Not a few people still do not understand how to invest properly and correctly, so many of them are deceived by investments by offering unreasonable interest returns and unclear investment management. By using financial literacy, it can make it easier for someone to understand and know things about finance and financial risks that may occur in order to avoid financial problems. This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy on investment decisions in society, especially students. The case study in this research is the undergraduate student of the Sekolah Tinggi IlmuEkonomi Indragiri (STIE-I) Rengat. This study uses a comparative causal quantitative approach. Based on the calculation of the sampling using purposive sampling method with the Slovin formula. Results of Simple Linear Regression Analysis, jIf financial literacy is equal to 0 (zero), the amount of investment decisions will be 8.141 points, if financial literacy increases by 1 (one) unit, investment decisions will increase by 0.506 points. And hresult of partial test (t test, obtained t count is 8,434> t table 1,985, so it can be concluded that the Financial Literacy variable (X) has an effect on the Investment Decision variable (Y).

Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of efficiency on bank performance. The population used is all banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2016. 81 samples were obtained using a purposive sampling method. While the data analysis method used is the classic assumption test, simple linear regression analysis test and t test (partial test). The results of this study indicate that the efficiency variable does not have a positive effect on bank performance, which in this study is calculated using ROA (return on assets which is seen from the significance value above 0.05) or seen from the t value < t table -1,326 < 1,667. So H0 cannot be rejected, which means Ha is accepted. Kata kunci: Effisiensi Rasio, Return On Asset

This study conducted observations and studies to determine the effect of mudharabah financing provided by BMT Baiturrahman on the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The research technique used in this study is a quantitative technique with a population of customers who take financing in the BMT with a total of 166 customers financing after using the 10% Slovin error formula to 63 customers as the sample. The sampling technique in this study uses non-probability sampling by convenience sampling method. Whereas for data analysis methods using a simple linear regression analysis model, and for processing data using SPSS 23. This study concluded that mudharabah financing has a very strong relationship (correlation) which is very significant for the development of MSMEs. So it can be concluded that mudharabah financing has a significant effect on the development of MSMEs.
