The study’s objective is to determine factors impacting employees’ job satisfaction at Vinh Long Radio and Television (TV) Station. The authors used convenient sampling to collect data from 233 employees working at Vinh Long Radio and TV Station. The exploratory factor analysis and multivariable linear regression help the study find seven factors affecting job satisfaction. They include nature of work, training and promotion, income, leadership, colleagues, working environment, work pressure, and work autonomy. In which, work pressure has the most negative influence on job satisfaction of employees working at Vinh Long Radio and TV Station.

The radar geometry defined by a spatially separated transmitter and receiver with a moving object crossing the baseline is considered as a Bistatic Forward Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (BFISAR). As a transmitter of opportunity, a Digital Video Broadcast-Terrestrial (DVB-T) television station emitting DVB-T waveforms was used. A system of vector equations describing the kinematics of the object was derived. A mathematical model of a BFISAR signal received after the reflection of DVB-T waveforms from the moving object was described. An algorithm for extraction of the object’s image including phase correction and two Fourier transformations applied over the received BFISAR signal—in the range and azimuth directions—was created. To prove the correctness of mathematical models of the object geometry, waveforms and signals, and the image extraction procedure, graphical results of simulation numerical experiments were provided.

The research has a specific objective, namely how the national news television station MetroTV media tends to construct news reality about the Islamic Defenders Front Islamic organization which later changed to the Islamic Brotherhood Front or FPI for short in the 2016-2017 period. Furthermore, the content analysis of MetroTV television media will find framing tendencies as well as find framing models on MetroTV television media in constructing news about FPI in the 2016-2017 period. This research method focuses on collecting, analyzing media content (framing studies), and mixing quantitative and qualitative data in a single study or series of studies. The main premise is the use of quantitative and qualitative approaches in combination (mixed method), by providing a better understanding of the research problem because it uses two approaches at once. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself who collects data through the website from metrotvnews.com in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and conducts relevant documentation studies related to the object under study such as literature, blogspot, internet (online), e-journals, and reports on the results of similar research that are considered relevant. The results of this study found that the news television station under study, namely MetroTV, tends to construct and framing all FPI news that enters the newsroom. In addition, it was found that there is a framing model that MetroTV tends to do. MetroTV's coverage of FPI is always constructed in such a way that it produces text and visuals (frames) which in turn give rise to messages and meanings that give effect and a religious stigma to the masses of Muslims in general.

This study aims to analyse the media management strategy of Indonesian television stations during the Covid-19 pandemic. In March 2020, an outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia affected the operations of broadcasting offices, which forced people to work from home. This situation affects the operations, strategy, and content of the television industry. The object of research is Kompas TV, one of the largest media companies in Indonesia, which was the first to implement a digital concept for its customers. The concepts of planning, organising, actuating, and controlling are used to analyse the strategies media utilised. The methodology employed for the current research takes the form of a case study by adopting the qualitative approach through an in-depth interview and observation. The results showed that Kompas TV, through its digital platform in the form of websites, YouTube channels, and social media, achieved an increase in the number of viewers, users, and engagement during the pandemic. In particular, the digital aspect does not only appear in communication, but also in the implementation of the Kompas TV strategy. The results of the study also revealed that strategies carried out on Kompas TV can be used as a model for other television in Indonesia to emulate, in order to sustain its business in times of crisis. Keywords: Strategy, broadcast management, Indonesia television station, pandemic Covid-19, qualitative research.
