The strength of the company's competitiveness is needed because the current industrial development is very rapid. It is necessary to maintain the quality and quantity of the products produced according to company standards.  One of the companies that must maintain the quality and quantity is PT. XYZ is a clay tile company. The classification of products used by this company to maintain good quality is three classes: good tile, white stone tile, and cracked tile. However, quality control based on classification still uses the traditional way by relying on sight.  It can increase errors and slow down the process. It can be overcome with artificial visual detectors. It is a result of the rapid development of automation. So to detect defects, this research can use image preprocessing, supervised learning algorithms, and measurement methods.  Support Vector Machine (SVM) is used in this study to perform classification, while feature extraction on clay tiles used the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method. The algorithm is made using python, while for image retrieval, raspberry pi is used. The linear kernel on the SVM algorithm is used in this study. The conclusion in this study obtained 86.95% is the highest accuracy with a linear kernel. It takes 10.625 seconds to classify.

This paper aimed at studying the influence of additive material boric acid in eco-friendly fired clay tiles. It is used as additive material by mixing with rice husk ash (RHA), brown glass cullet (BGC), local clay (LC), and sediment soil (SS). Effects of boric acid on the physical properties of ceramic bodies were investigated. The texture of specimen by utilizing waste materials was also studied. Mixture formulations consisted of 60% BGC, 10% RHA, 0-30% LC, and 0-30% SS with varying boric acid addition of 0-2%. Specimens were formed by uniaxial pressing with 100 bars, fired at 850 and 900°C, heating rate 100°C/h, and soaked for 1 h. The results showed that adding boric acid up to 2% had increased the flexural strength and decreased the water absorption of these specimens when fired at 850°C. On the contrary, the effects of adding boric acid fired at 900°C had decreased flexural strength and increased water absorption that showed the phenomenon of expanding specimens. However, the optimal formula of these clay tiles both fired at 850 and 900°C have passed the Thai Industrial Standards (TIS 2508-2555); Type BIII. Scanning electron microscope should they that microstructure characterization was in the glassy crystalline phase was found in high flexural strength specimens. In summary, exploiting boric acid can improve the physical properties of specimens with a low firing temperature, and fired clay wall tiles can be developed in this study. They can be identified as an environmentally eco-friendly building product.

Accounting is as old as the history of civilization itself. It is linked to the first human manifestations, as well as to the social need to protect the possession and perpetuation and interpretation of events. There are historical writings that the first accounting records consisted of clay tiles, stored in clay receptacles, which were used in the counting of the patrimony, recording, in this way, the event occurred and helping the control of the patrimony on the part of the owner. Faced with the changes that have taken place in society over the decades and the numerous economic changes, there has been a need for a more effective and rigorous control over the assets of entities, whether individuals or corporations. On the other hand, governments have created mechanisms to improve oversight and thus increase their collection. With the advent of information technology, the advancement of information technology and the digital revolution also brought a new format for the management of the economy, both in terms of control and quality, as well as the truthfulness of information provided by taxpayers. It is noticed that the internet is an important instrument of support to administrators, managers and accounting professionals, because it uses all this technology to improve its management in the scope of decision making as to meet the ancillary obligations imposed by the tax and tax laws . With the advancement of technology and the large volume of operations carried out by large companies, both companies and inspection bodies had to follow up this advance. This article aims to highlight the importance of information technology, highlighting the purpose of SPEDs. The methodology adopted was field research and interview with an accountant, established in the city of Barra Mansa-RJ, working in the accounting area for approximately thirty years.

During the 2019 excavations in the Moscow Kremlin that opened up the foundation trenches of the building of New Prikazes (1675-1770s) as well as the layers related to the operation of the Old Prikazes (1591-1670s) a representative series of red-clay stove tiles was collected. The study of this corpus of sources identified remains of stove sets used in the buildings of the Old Prikazes which are referred to the end of the 16 -the early 17 centuries. The study focuses on the stratigraphic position of the finds, search of analogies and the chronology of the discovered ceramic tiles. Some red-clay tiles were discovered in the layer of the New Prikazes as redeposited materials. The linkage between solitary finds of white-clay glazed tiles and stove sets from prikaz buildings of the middle-second half of the 16 century was established.

This research intended to investigate the influence of rice husk ash (RHA), green glass cullet (GGC) and local white clay (LWC) in Thailand on the physical properties of fired clay tiles. Utilization of RHA and GGC were the main objectives. Proportion of RHA varying from 10-60% by weight was conducted. Specimens of mixture formulation were sintered at 950 °C. The results revealed that the formula no. A7 containing 70% GGC and 30% LWC can develop greenish color. In addition, scanning electron microscopy was carried out to characterize microstructure and found the glassy phase in fired specimen. Moreover, nepheline (Na2Al2Si2O8) and wollastonite (CaSiO3) were detected by the X-ray diffraction technique. These phases can promote the strength of fired clay tiles. Meanwhile, the specimen of formula no. B13 comprising 60% GGC, 30% LWC and 10% RHA can develop the mullite phase (3Al2O32SiO2). Effect of utilizing RHA in this formula can develop greyish color of ceramic tiles. Physical properties of formula no. A7 and B13 can achieve 30.15, 24.54 MPa of bending strength and 1.91, 11.72% of water absorption. They all can pass Thai Industrial Standard (TIS 2508-2555). The result of this study can be employed to manufacture environmentally friendly fired clay tiles.

Building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) is defined as the integration of photovoltaic (PV) modules into the building envelope (in this case the rooftile) to generate clean and environmental-friendly electricity from the sun radiation. The architectural integration of PV collector modules in new construction makes possible to create glazed surfaces which, besides being an aesthetical and functional innovation, generate electricity, that is allowing the realization of solar control and electric range with consequent energy savings. However, up until now, there have been limited studies that analysed BIPV from its materials point of views. This paper aims to expose rooftop BIPV materials that further might be used to replace conventional rooftiles such as terracotta or slate, concrete, plastic, and clay tiles. The flat rooftiles of monocrystalline-, polycrystalline-, and a-silicone based BIPV cells are being considered in this paper. Their benefits and drawbacks are also put into account. The parameters that were compared are materials, their physical layouts, and the transparency and output power.

The objective of this research was to study the clay tile (CT) production using palm ash (PA), spent bleaching earth (SBE) and palm fiber (PF) as substitute materials. The effect of ingredients and PF length on CT qualities were investigated. The ingredient of clay : PA : SBE : PF used three proportions as following 58 : 20 : 20 : 2, 56 : 20 : 20 : 4, and 54 : 20 : 20 : 6 (% by weight, wt). Each ingredient used the fiber length of 15 mm and 25 mm. The crystalline phase of raw materials was inspected. The CT after production were examined qualities as accorded with Thai industrial standard (TIS) in terms of water absorption, bulk density, acid corrosion and transverse breaking strength (TBS). Results showed that the clay tile qualities in terms of bulk density and acid corrosion were in the acceptable level as 1.45-1.65 g/cm3 and less than 0.03%, respectively. The water absorption quality was more than 6.5% meanwhile the TBS was below 600 N. Both later criteria were not pass the TIS standard, but it should be improved for further study. Hence, this research also revealed that the all wastes (PA, SBE, PF) from palm oil industry can be used to produce the clay tile.

Masonry has been widely used as a construction method. However, there is a lack of information on its fire behavior due to the multitude of variables that could influence this method. This paper aimed to identify the influence of loading and mortar coating thickness on the fire behavior of masonry. Hence, six masonries made of clay tiles laid with mortar were evaluated. The mortar coating had a thickness of 25 mm on the face not exposed to high temperatures, while the fire-exposed face had thicknesses of 0, 15, and 25 mm. For each mortar coating thickness, two specimens were tested, with and without loading of 10 tf/m. The real-scale specimens were subjected to the standard ISO 834 fire curve for four hours, during which the properties of stability, airtightness, and thermal insulation were assessed. Results showed that loaded specimens yielded smaller deformations than unloaded ones. Samples that lacked mortar coating on the fire-exposed face underwent fire resistance decrease of 27.5%, while the ones with 15 mm decreased by 58.1%, and the ones with 25 mm decreased by 41.0%. As mortar coating thickness increased, the plane deformations decreased from 40 mm to 29 mm and the thermal insulation properties of the walls improved significantly. For specimens with mortar coating thickness of 25 mm, the load application resulted in a reduction of 23.8% of the thermal insulation, while the unloaded specimen showed a decrease of 43.3%, as well as a modification of its fire-resistance rating.
