Objectives: The purpose of this study is to introduce the procedures and methods for mission and vision development at a College of Korean Medicine (CKM), which established its mission and vision using Delphi techniques and big data analysis on various members and stakeholders. Methods: A total of 754 participated in the Delphi survey. A Delphi survey was conducted with professors, students, parents, and alumni stakeholders to establish Daegu Haany University CKM’s mission and vision. The data were analyzed through content analysis and big data analysis of keywords. Results: As a result of the study, the most important keywords to be included in the mission and vision were "professionalism" and "morality." Included in the mission were the concepts of "morality" and "professionalism," which were emphasized by the four groups. All surveyed stakeholders regarded "scientific," and "global" as important themes to be included in the vision. Conclusions: The present study confirmed that there were themes commonly prioritized by all stakeholders for college mission and vision, and a difference in demand for educational goals between professors and students was also affirmed. Therefore, institutions of higher learning should develop their mission and vision by appropriately reflecting the needs of the interest groups.

Background and Objectives: Aspects of improving cardiorespiratory fitness should be factored into therapeutics for recovery of movement in stroke patients. This study aimed to recommend optimized cardiorespiratory fitness therapeutics that can be prescribed to stroke patients based on a literature review and an expert-modified Delphi technique. Materials and Methods: we searched PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, and Cochrane databases and yielded 13,498 articles published from 2010 to 2019 to support the development of drafts. After applying the exclusion criteria, 29 documents were analyzed (drafts, 17 articles; modified Delphi techniques, 12 articles). This literature was reviewed in combination with the results of a modified Delphi technique presented to experts in the physical medicine and rehabilitation field. Analysis of the literature and survey results was conducted at the participating university hospital. Results: the results of this analysis were as follows: first, 12 intervention items derived through a researcher’s literature review and a Delphi technique questionnaire were constructed using the Likert scale; second, we asked the experts to create two modified Delphi techniques by reconstructing the items after statistical analysis for each order comprising five categories, and 15 items were finally confirmed. Conclusions: the recommendations in this study may lead to the development of a standard decision-making process for physiotherapists to improve their patients’ cardiorespiratory fitness. Moreover, the study results can help prescribers document patient care to reduce prescription errors and improve safety. In the future, multidisciplinary studies could potentially provide better therapeutics alternatives for cardiorespiratory fitness.

The objectives of this study to examine the significance of relationship between the characteristics of the president of the Republic of Indonesia, the president’s decision making and the president’s changing responds on development performance in Indonesia based on young generation cohort.  Through this research, will be obtained the  recommendation for the formulation of an ideal national leader model according to the times.  This research implements a descriptive method. The datas were analyzed using structural equations.  The character of the president is not confirmed that it have a significant direct and indirect correlation with development performance.  There decision making pattern corelated with development performance at the 10 percent significance level.  Decision making by the president is based on successive factors, they are as follow: group decision making, decision making with Delphi techniques and participatory decision making.  The analysis of the changing response was confirmed to have a relationship with the development performance at a significance level of 10 percent. Sensitivity factors that have a substantial influences are: technological changes respond, sensitivity to national & global economic changes respond, and sensitivity to social respond change and sensitivity to respond change in general.

Purpose This study aims to present a method to carry out technological foresight exercises in university technological research and development centers (TRDCs). The results support the organizational planning process. Design/methodology/approach The authors review the literature on the frameworks of foresight. The authors propose the use of quantitative (bibliometrics) and qualitative (expert meeting, Delphi) techniques. The authors apply this method to each research topic of interest of the TRDCs. Findings The application of the method to a research topic allows us to analyze the relevant knowledge areas for the development of that topic and its global trend. For each area, the authors identify the specific lines of research with the greatest growth and relevance. Considering these lines, the authors make a diagnosis of the TRDC situation regarding how to provide knowledge to decision-makers. Research limitations/implications The paper reviews the results of the application in the Engineering Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and in the research topic “Seismic risks in civil engineering.” It is necessary to adjust the application of the method in other TRDCs to the conditions of the organization and to the development achieved by the TRDCs in the analyzed research topic. Originality/value There is no detailed literature on technological foresight exercises in university TRDCs that support the planning process of the organization. The method represents a proposal to establish priority research topics and specific research lines in research institutes, particularly universities. The authors present the application in a university TRDCs in Mexico.

This study aims to assess the psychometric properties of the professional identity measure of the professional identity of Mathematics teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Professional identity topic has not been widely addressed in the Arab environment. Studying the Mathematics Teachers’ Professional Identity (TPI) is important because only few and inadequate body of research has been performed in the Arab environment. Establishing measuring tool on the TPI contributes on the evaluation of the teachers in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their roles in the educational process in the country. This study applies descriptive approach. 600 secondary Mathematics teachers were involved. The adapted version of the questionnaire designed by Albaqi'i (2014) used to measure the Mathematics TPI. Delphi techniques in three rounds to gather experts’ opinion about the suitability of Mathematics TPI questionnaire used in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia context. Rasch model as a framework applied to assess the psychometric properties of Mathematic TPI questionnaire. The results are valuable in terms of analyzing the psychometric properties for the first version of Mathematics TPI, to improve Differential Item Functioning (DIF) and the psychometric properties for the revised version of Mathematics TPI Questionnaire.

Smart work has been credited with providing flexible supply capabilities to meet customer demands in service businesses operations. Effective operations of smart work need huge investment of technologies implementations. The authors use Delphi techniques and survey method to identify implementation factors of importance of home-based work which is a representative type of smart work. Seven technologies were identified to be important (Knowledge Management, Real-time monitoring, Remote IT assist, Online testing, Online training, Workforce management, Agent performance management technologies). Different from general expectations, control-based technologies were found not to have positive effects, but support-based technologies to have positive effects to the performance. Smart work technologies in service business affect employees' job satisfaction, and further retention of remote agents. Careful planning of how to implement technologies for smart work is needed in service business in order to identify the best working environment design.

Abstract Objective To provide guidance for the management of RAS wild-type (wt) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) in daily practice. Methods Nominal group and Delphi techniques were used. A steering committee of seven experts analyzed the current management of RAS wt mCRC, through which they identified controversies, critically analyzed the available evidence, and formulated several guiding statements for clinicians. Subsequently, a group of 30 experts (the expert panel) was selected to test agreement with the statements, through two Delphi rounds. The following response categories were established in both rounds: 1 = totally agree, 2 = basically agree, 3 = basically disagree, 4 = totally disagree. Agreement was defined if ≥ 75% of answers were in categories 1 and 2 (consensus with the agreement) or 3 and 4 (consensus with the disagreement). Results Overall, 71 statements were proposed, which incorporated the following areas: (1) overarching principles; (2) tumor location; (3) triplets; (4) maintenance; (5) second-line and beyond treatments; (6) Rechallenge and liquid biopsy. After the two Delphi rounds, only six statements maintained a lack of clear consensus. Conclusions This document aims to describe the expert’s attitude when dealing with several common clinical questions regarding patients with RAS wt mCRC.
