The article discusses intermediate research results in the development and improvement of a computerized model of Russian texts authorization, which is based on complex application of probabilistic-and-statistical methods. The study aims to describe the new capabilities of the created system in the aspect of its application to diagnostic examinations in text authorization for detection of the gender of the alleged author of the text. The work presents the next stage of fine-tuning and testing of the improved version of the computer program "CTA" (computerized text authorization), which at this stage was adapted for the task of determining and comparing stable relative frequencies of correlation coefficients (the ratio of specified linguistic phenomena of different levels of the language system) in the texts, the authors of which are men and women. The research material is the continuously updated primary bases of literary texts of the 19 th and 21 st centuries (4 bases, respectively). The work shows that for the texts written by men and women, significant differences can be noted in such correlation coefficients as average word length, average sentence length, objectivity coefficient, quality coefficient, activity coefficient, dynamism coefficient, connectivity coefficient, etc. Verification of the results obtained experimentally has demonstrated that the accuracy of gender determining at this stage of the study is approximately 65%. This indicator can be significantly exceeded with an increase in the volume and quality specification of databases and/or when using new models for calculating the correlation coefficients (Spearman's model, etc.).

A hypothesis was put forward that a nano-modifying additive of micro silica, which had a beneficial effect on achieving a perfect structure of heavy concrete, can also be effectively used in lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete. The nano-modifying additives of micro silica application in manufacturing lightweight fiber reinforced concrete products and structures can significantly enchain their strength characteristics without increasing their mass and consequently improve their design characteristics. The purpose of the work was to increase the structural quality coefficients for all types of strengths of lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete due to its modification with micro silica. The effect of nano-modifying additives of micro silica on the strength characteristics of lightweight fiber reinforced concrete was studied. The optimal amount of micro silica addition was experimentally confirmed and established of 10% of the cement mass. The coefficients of constructive quality for all experimentally determined strength characteristics of lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete modified with micro silica additives were calculated. The coefficient of constructive quality for tensile strength in bending of lightweight fiber reinforced concrete with additives was two and a half times higher than that of heavy concrete without additives and up to 37% higher than that of lightweight fiber-reinforced concrete without additives.

The relevance of the study is conditioned upon the need to develop and implement structural and technological solutions to improve the efficiency of the chemical and thermal conversion of biomass into combustible gas. Within the framework of the above, the authors of this paper have designed a downdraft gasifier running on plant biomass. The presented research links the heat quantity received from the utilisation of syngas produced during the gasifier operation cycle with the parameters of the gas blow regime and the physico-chemical properties of biomass. For an in-depth study of the influence of the gas blow regime on the yield and calorific value of syngas produced from biomass, the authors introduce the concept of the blow coverage quality coefficient. This coefficient describes the quality of the cross-section coverage of the gasification chamber neck with gas currents of the tuyere zone. The purpose of this study is to establish the influence of the blow coverage quality coefficient, the volume of blow gases and the void ratio of the bulk biomass layer on the heat quantity received from syngas produced during the gasifier operation cycle. A multi-factor experiment was planned and performed, which relates the dependent factor to variables, and the corresponding response surfaces were constructed. The research findings are that the maximum value of the heat quantity received from the utilisation of syngas produced during the one-hour gasifier operation cycle was 519 MJ. This value is achieved with 0.8 blow coverage quality coefficient and a blow gas volume of 47.4 m3/h and 46.75% void ratio of the bulk biomass layer. The measurement results are highly consistent with the calculated data. The coefficient of determination was R2=0.983. The practical value of this study is to substantiate the rational design and technological parameters of the downdraft biomass gasifier operation, which will increase the efficiency of biomass energy production. The findings presented in this study can be used both to design new gasifiers and to improve the efficiency of the available ones

Abstract Despite the advances in methods of statistical and mathematical modeling, there is considerable lack of focus on improving how to judge models’ quality. Coefficient of determination (R2) is arguably the most widely applied ‘goodness-of-fit’ metric in modelling and prediction of environmental systems. However, known issues of R2 are that it: (i) can be low and high for an accurate and imperfect model, respectively; (ii) yields the same value when we regress observed on modelled series and vice versa; and (iii) does not quantify a model's bias (B). A new model skill score E and revised R-squared (RRS) are presented to combine correlation, term B and capacity to capture variability. Differences between E and RRS lie in the forms of correlation and the term B used for each metric. Acceptability of E and RRS was demonstrated through comparison of results from a large number of hydrological simulations. By applying E and RRS, the modeller can diagnostically identify and expose systematic issues behind model optimizations based on other ‘goodness-of-fits’ such as Nash–Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) and mean squared error. Unlike NSE, which varies from −∞ to 1, E and RRS occur over the range 0–1. MATLAB codes for computing E and RRS are provided.

This article describes some aspects of Russian computer science publications flow analyzes. This analyzes holds by bibliometric methods for Web of Science data base Russian publications flow. The analyzes done shows the increasing of Russian flow for 2010 to 2019, outstripping the world this thermostatics publications flow. For this reason, Russia rises from 34 to 15 position in this scientific area world publication rating. But that is not enough for the national project «Science» goal achievement, which is fifth position in this classification, The list of document types was determined for further analyzes. This list concludes two main types: journals articles and conferences proceeding papers and, additionally, a little quantity of some other types documents. Further analyzes holds for two main types separately. All journals have been additionally dissipated to WoS journals quartiles. The Citation of published Documents was same way separately calculated for every from two main document types. Calculations shows, that the journals articles citing is in times more that Conference proceedings papers citing. This fact demonstrates clearly the very less interest for the scientific society to proceeding conference papers then to journal articles. “Quality Coefficient”, according the Russian Science Ministry Methodic, have been calculated for two main document type sets. Such calculation shows that this coefficient is much more for journals articles set, than for conference proceedings set despite of much less quantity of documents in the journals article set. It underlines the special attention which must be paid in future to this problem.

The influence of the chemical composition of bauxite on the mineral formation and structure of sulfoaluminate-ferrite clinker (SAFC), and physical and mechanical properties of cement based on it is studied. Ferrous bauxite, marble crushing screenings and neutralized fluorine-anhydrite were used for the synthesis of SAFC. The compositions of raw mixes of low-and high-alkaline SAFC are calculated with modular characteristics: Mf (ferritic modulus) = 0.35 and 0.7, Мs (sulfate modulus) = 0.167 and 0.5, respectively. Clinker synthesis from a raw mix containing ferrous bauxite with a quality coefficient of 1.7 must be carried out at a temperature of 1250 °C, which is reduced to 1200 °C for burning a raw mix based on bauxite with a quality coefficient of 2.2. Intensive decomposition of anhydrite occurs with the release of sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere at a temperature of 1300 °C, so it is not recommended to burn SAFC at this temperature. The mineral composition of the obtained SAFC is represented by sulfoaluminate, calcium sulfoferrite and free anhydrite. There is no C2S as a separate phase in clinkers, since in the process of their synthesis belite dissolves in 3С(A,F)·СŜ, mainly in the aluminoferrite phase. The use of bauxite with a quality coefficient of 2.2 in the SAFC raw mix increases the cement activity up to 54.2 MPa. Increasing its specific surface from 350 to 460 m2/kg significantly reduces the setting time of cement paste and increases the strength of sulfoaluminate-ferrite cement both in the early (up to 43.4 MPa) and late hardening periods (up to 67.3 MPa).

We describe imputation strategies resistant to outliers, through modifications of the simple imputation method proposed by Krzanowski and assess their performance. The strategies use a robust singular value decomposition, do not depend on distributional or structural assumptions and have no restrictions as to the pattern or missing data mechanisms. They are tested through the simulation of contamination and unbalance, both in artificially generated matrices and in a matrix of real data from an experiment with genotype-by-environment interaction. Their performance is assessed by means of prediction errors, the squared cosine between matrices, and a quality coefficient of fit between imputations and true values. For small matrices, the best results are obtained by applying robust decomposition directly, while for larger matrices the highest quality is obtained by eliminating the singular values of the imputation equation.

In a competitive market environment, the success of a manufacturer is determined by the competitiveness of its goods and services. The competitiveness of a product is laid down at the stage of its development. Mistakes made early in the development of a new product are costly for the manufacturer in the later stages of its life cycle. To implement the principle “do it right the first time”, a three-stage model is proposed for choosing the technical and operational indicators of industrial products in the development of technical specifications for design. The essence of the model is that the preselected technical and operational parameters of the product are successively adjusted in three stages based on the results of a comparative assessment of it with competitors according to such integral criteria as economic efficiency in operation, quality coefficient and competitiveness coefficient. The process of correction of indicators is carried out in compliance with the rule of transition to the next stage of assessment only after ensuring the superiority of the product over competitors with the tools of the current stage. A three-stage model of the formation of technical and operational indicators of a product in the development of a technical task helps to ensure the competitiveness of the designed product, competitiveness in selected market segments from the early stages of development with minimal labor and material costs. The practical applicability of the proposed model is shown on the example of the formation of a technical assignment for the design of a mediumduty delivery vehicle.

The objects of bioindication of the ecological state were 3 channels of the Volga Delta, located both directly in Astrakhan and in the Astrakhan region. The aim of the work was to conduct a comparative bioelectronic diagnosis of the ecological state of the selected channels with different local anthropogenic loads, both by type and size, based on assessments of the functional state (health) of the bivalve mollusks Anodonta anatina living in them, estimated on the basis of an analysis of their cardiorhythm, measured using an original fiber-optic bioelectronic system. It was found that shellfish selected from different water areas, after 1hour functional load, restore the original heart rate for different times, but in the range from 117 to 166 minutes, which is typical for shellfish living in significantly polluted reservoirs of the same ecological status - "Bad". This characteristic of the water areas completely coincides with the characteristic of the ecological state of the channels of the Volga River Delta specified in the State Report "On the state and on Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation in 2017". The authors proposed and justified the possibility of using the water area of the Gandurino River as a conditional reference for the Volga Delta region. In this case, according to the value of the environmental quality coefficient EQR, the channels of the Urban Branch and the Small Channel can be attributed to the regional environmental status - "Good".

The methodology for assessing the quality of public service at catering firms should be based on a comparison of consumer expectations and perceptions in relation to the service process, that is, the quality coefficient is determined as the difference between perception and expectations. In this case, the quality factor can be determined both by the indicator of interest and by the enterprise as a whole. Consequently, the criteria for assessing the quality of public service at catering establishments must be formed taking into account its type and class. To obtain primary information from consumers, it is necessary to organize and conduct a sociological study. When choosing a method of sociological research, it is advisable to give preference to interviews, since this is a rather flexible method of collecting information, based on direct contact between the interviewer and the respondent. The main advantage of the interview, in comparison with the questionnaire, is the ability to control the perception and understanding of the questions by the respondent; if necessary, the interviewer can explain the questions asked, and also clarify the respondent's point of view with the help of additional questions. When conducting a sociological research by the interview method, the requirements for the formation of a questionnaire are significantly reduced. The list of questions asked to respondents should be expanded with personal questions, the purpose of which is to reflect: age, social status, average monthly income. These questions are necessary to represent the target group of consumers of public catering services.
