The object of research is the reengineering of business processes, which is used to increase the effectiveness of strategic management of an enterprise, which will create a new type of environmental enterprise «bioalliance». One of the most problematic places is the possibility of conducting marketing research to ensure the competitiveness of enterprises. The paper used the hypothetical method in substantiating the theoretical and methodological principles of organization and functioning of bio-alliances as the basis of bio-economy for rural areas. The study used the economic-statistical method, ranking of economic zoning, correlation and regression and cluster analysis. These methods were used in the elaboration of directions, sources and strategies of development, components of system and process management, state support for the implementation of traditional and new socio-economic and environmental functions. Also in the course of the work, methods of ideal modelling, mathematical modelling and programming, abstract-logical and structural-logical, extrapolation, expert evaluations, surveys, observations, qualitative and quantitative, imaginary and social experiments were used. The results of the market analyses of agricultural companies showed the inexpediency of agricultural companies. Based on the research, modelling and re-engineering of business processes through the implementation of organisational, corporate, business and functional strategies was proposed. The new form of agrarian enterprises, proposed in the work, is «bioalliance», based on the principles of integration of tourism sphere, sphere of organic production and production of eco-commodities, as well as using bio-resources as the main source. Compared to similar known methodologies of strategic management, the proposed methodology provides enterprises with a high level of importance in the regions, increasing the efficiency of the use of the resources available in their ownership. And also to allocate new market segments in order to attract not only existing, but also potential consumers.

Именно в этот период происходит процесс преобразования бит-поколения 1950-х гг. в субкультуру хиппи 1960-х гг. Одним из показательных событий этого процесса стал факт присоединения битника Нила Кэссиди к коммуне «Весёлые Проказники» во главе с писателем Кеном Кизи. Путешествие «Далше» летом 1964 г. стало катализатором в этой смене субкультур. In the 1960s, a counterculture was being formed in the United States, which was associated with the psychedelic revolution, nonconformism, the generation gap, the anti-war movement, and social experiments. It was during this period that the process of transforming the beat generation of the 1950s into a hippie subculture of the 1960s took place. One of the significant events of this process was the fact that beatnik Neil Cassidy joined the commune «Merry Pranksters» led by writer Ken Kesey. The «Further» trip in the summer of 1964 was a catalyst in this change of subcultures.

AbstractOnline discussion platforms are perceived as the next-generation method of citizen involvement. Such platforms can collect, integrate, and synthesize opinions to achieve social good. Crowd-scale platforms are being developed and deployed in social experiments that involve citizens and local governments. In such platforms, human facilitation is often used to preserve the quality of the discussions. Human facilitators often face difficulties when the discussions grow in size. In this paper, we present “D-agree,” a crowd-scale discussion support system based on an automated facilitation agent. The agent extracts discussion structures from online discussions, analyzes them, and posts facilitation messages. We conducted small- and large-scale social experiments in Japan to assess the social impact of the platform. The results showcase the success of our automated facilitation agents in gathering valuable opinions from citizens. In addition, our experiments highlight the effect of an automated facilitation agent on online discussions. In particular, we find that combining the agent facilitator with human facilitators leads to higher user satisfaction.

In recent years, the use of the Web to quickly and efficiently run behavioral and social experiments has grown in popularity. However, there are still revenue differences related to the use of the Web for animation and multimedia. The analysis and accuracy of the use of web technology have been widely studied to update evidence on the accuracy and precession of presenting animation using the Web, as well as expanding research related to accuracy and precision in the presentation of multimedia and animation based on HTML5 technology, especially the use of scalable vector graphics (SVG). Presentation of visual content using web technology can be accepted with increasing accuracy and precision, although this technology needs consideration in some cases in its use. Accuracy and precision using CSS technology which is part of HTML, are the best alternatives for animation. The animation interval is above 50 milliseconds based on test results, while testing using SVG also shows results that are not much different from using CSS in animation. The performance of procedural web technology with HTML5 standards (CSS, SVG, and WebGL) is not much different from the analyzed web technology, with an average missed frame between 0.06 and 1.50 with a standard deviation between 0.252 and 1.055. This technology is becoming the standard and has a promising future, making its use more advisable than other technologies on the decline.

Automated behavior quantification requires accurate tracking of animals. Simultaneous tracking of multiple animals, particularly those lacking visual identifiers, is particularly challenging. Here we propose a markerless video-based tool to simultaneously track two socially interacting mice of the same color. It incorporates conventional handcrafted tracking and deep learning based techniques, which are trained on a small number of labeled images from a very basic, uncluttered experimental setup. The output consists of body masks and coordinates of the snout and tail-base for each mouse. The method was tested on a series of cross-setup videos recorded under commonly used experimental conditions including bedding in the cage and fiberoptic or headstage implants on the mice. Results obtained without any human intervention showed the effectiveness of the proposed approach, evidenced by a near elimination of identities switches and a 10% improvement in tracking accuracy. This suggests that the hybrid approach could be valuable for studying group behaviors, such as social interaction. This novel approach addresses problems of mistaken identities and lost information on key anatomical features that are common in existing methods. Finally, we demonstrated an application of this approach in studies of social behaviour of mice, by using it to quantify and compare interactions between pairs of mice in which some are anosmic, i.e. unable to smell. Our results indicated loss of olfaction impaired typical snout-directed social recognition behaviors of mice, while non-snout-directed social behaviours were enhanced.

Mindfulness is frequently invoked as a virtue in discussions of technology, whether in using specific technologies such as cellphones, in creating technologies as new and valuable devices and knowledge, in responsibly developing technologies as “social experiments,” or in participating responsibly as citizens in technological societies. In each of these contexts, mindfulness can have myriad meanings that reflect moral ideals or popular psychological concepts. To explore these meanings, I develop a working definition of mindfulness as paying attention to what matters, in light of relevant values. When those values are sound and applied with good judgment, mindfulness is a virtue.

The period of the “socialist project” occupied the biggest part of the 20th century. Hugescale social experiments have greatly shaped the present-day city’s appearance. The second half of the 20th century evidenced an unprecedented volume of housing and industrial technologies in house construction and design. Most of us, today’s citizens, live in the neighborhoods and houses built during the socialist era.Belgrade and Split, Sverdlovsk, Sevastopol, Magnitogorsk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Odessa, Moscow – all the cities represented in this issue demonstrate the achievements of the period of the “socialist project”.Having defined the historical heritage as a phenomenon of the socio-economic development, the civil society of Irkutsk pointed out again the urgency of this issue. It also concerns other cities that respect their history. Without history, without heritage, there is no future. Including the heritage of the 20th century.We would like to devote the main topic of the issue to recollections of how residential neighborhoods were formed in socialist cities, what people and what processes defined that formation, in which cases the ideology influenced the appearance of cities, and in which cases cities grew and developed according to their internal regularities. The purpose is not only to pay our respect to wonderful masters, but also to learn the humanistic approaches to space arrangement from them again. It is a good thing in the times of domination of completely different goals related to making a quick profit. It is a good thing for all.

During the first few months of the COVID-19 pandemic, a 26-min documentary entitled Plandemic was released online and fanatically shared via Twitter and other major social media platforms. The producers of the documentary sought to spread misinformation and conspiracy theories and to discredit scientific experts using a sophisticated disinformation campaign. They set out to accomplish this by coaching citizens toward activism to maximize the speed at which the documentary propagated and decrease positive sentiments toward public health interventions. Applying techniques from social network analysis in conjunction with a formative content analysis of Twitter data, we examined the effectiveness of the Plandemic disinformation campaign as a case study of social engineering during the COVID-19 pandemic. By comparing the Twitter network's community structure and communication patterns before and after the release of the film, we demonstrate the Plandemic campaign to have been effective for two reasons. First, the campaign established a decentralized information sharing network on Twitter by coaching low-reach social media users to mass share the documentary, effectively subverting efforts to gatekeep its misinformation. Second, the campaign amplified negative sentiments regarding vaccination and containment measures among conspiracy theorists. These effects possibly have an indirect impact on the public's willingness to comply with public health measures. Our results show the necessity of further research about sophisticated social experiments such as the Plandemic disinformation campaign and provide important insights for policy-making to combat the spread of health misinformation during public health crises.

This research investigates the semantic, pragmatic, and sociolinguistic aspects of the culture of Indonesian sarcasm, especially East Indonesia, namely South Sulawesi with an ethnolinguistic framework. Researchers collect sarcasm utterances and study the semantic aspects. Furthermore, the speech is used in a social experiment to obtain pragmatic data. Social experiments are carried out in two situations, namely the situation of friendship (close) and the situation free (situations not knowing each other). The utterance of sarcasm for Indonesians is a culture for expressing thoughts and feelings towards a particular problem, event, situation, or object (generally human). Indonesians use sarcasm in various emotional situations such as anger, disappointment, regret, even in joking situations. Semantically, Indonesian sarcasm has bad, insulting, or immoral meanings that can intimidate even hurt the feelings of others. So, pragmatically the use of sarcasm can lead to antipathy and even conflict. Self control is required to respond to sarcasm.
