PurposeThe purpose of this article is to understand the current research status and future development trends in the field of numerical simulation on rock mass grouting.Design/methodology/approachThis article first searched the literature database (EI, Web of Science, CNKI, etc.) for keywords related to the numerical simulation of rock mass grouting to obtain the initial literature database. Then, from the initial database, several documents with strong relevance to the numerical simulation theme of rock mass grouting and high citation rate were selected; some documents from the references were selected as supplements, forming the sample database of this review study (a total of 90 articles). Finally, through sorting out the relationship among the literature, this literature review was carried out.FindingsThe numerical simulation of rock mass grouting is mainly based on the porous media model and the fractured media model. It has experienced the development process from Newtonian fluid to non-Newtonian fluid, from time-invariant viscosity to time-varying viscosity, and from generalized theoretical model to engineering application model. Based on this, this article summarizes four scientific problems that need to be solved in the future in this research field: the law of grout distribution at the cross fissures, the grout diffusion mechanism under multi-field coupling, more accurate grouting theoretical model and simulation technology with strong engineering applicability.Originality/valueThis research systematically analyzes the current research status and shortcomings of numerical simulation on rock mass grouting, summarizes four key issues in the future development of this research field and provides new ideas for the future research on numerical simulation on rock mass grouting.

Popular cancer therapies face extreme disadvantages, including multimedicament tolerance and non-target impact. These issues will lead to poorer patient conformity and poor levels of survival. Successful medical therapies for cancer patients are desperately required. Nano-particulate structures with a pluronic base represent revolutionary platforms for anti-cancer agent provision. These structures provide great potential for the advancement of cancer therapy due to their pharmacological properties and sufficient physicochemical characteristics. This review aims to offer a more detailed description of the pluronic drug delivery mechani sms that are currently available and explains pluronic as a medicinal polymer. Hydrophobic payload formulations and updated, targeted distribution mechanisms are explained based on pluronic formulations. This analysis offers a rundown of the current situation art related to the theranostic application of polymer micelles targeting the microenvironment of cancer cells. Some guidelines for the future scope and possible opportunities are also been addressed. Search criteria: Primary sources such as Medline a principal component of PubMed, an online, searchable, and biomedical and life science research literature database has been used. It brings readers to almost any area of interest with research and journal articles. One of the internet resources of importance to get scientific publications is specialized scientific search engines known as Google Scholar a database of research material that can be searched for. I have used the online electronic access portal of Elsevier, such as Science Direct to its publications. Scopus is the biggest abstract and peer-reviewed literature database for scientific journals, books, and conference work. Keywords like Cancer, Pluronic, Nanoparticles, Chemotherapy, Cancer, Theranostic, Targeted, Micelles, and Core-shell are crucial as they notify search engines of the content of the site. Range of years: 1992-2020.

Abstract Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare hematologic malignancy with poor outcome. BPDCN diagnostically overlaps with entities such as acute myeloid leukemia, histiocytic/dendritic cell neoplasms, and NK/T cell lymphomas. Unfortunately, large patient centered studies that comprehensively analyze clinical, pathologic and other diagnostic features are lacking. As such, there is an incomplete understanding of this disease. To better characterize BPDCN, a multicenter working group consisting of hematopathologists and dermatopathologists gathered in-person and remotely to review the current understanding of BPDCN, discuss specific issues regarding the diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and perform a retrospective analysis of the literature. A curated database of published BPDCN patient cases (BPDCN Network literature database) was generated. By conducting an in-depth analysis, not only did we confirm known findings in BPDCN such as frequent skin involvement and male predominance amongst older patients, but we also identified a number of under-recognized features, such as significant central nervous system involvement (35% of cases), and a roughly equal female to male prevalence amongst patients < 40 years old. Furthermore, with the large database, we were able to accurately summarize the immunohistochemical, cytogenetic, and molecular features of this disease. The BPDCN Network literature database serves as a central data repository of archived published aggregated and individual cases and facilitates an in-depth characterization of this rare disease. Continual updates from the consortium and beyond will allow for prospective refinement of our understanding of this orphan disease. Disclosures Ohgami: Stemline Therapeutics: Research Funding. Abstract Background: Several studies have been conducted on the effects of floods on the health of the affected community. We aimed to determine the effects of floods as the most common disaster on hypertension as one of the most common non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Material and Methods: The 4 databases, including Medline, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Science Direct were searched with the search strategy protocol up to the end of 2020. Grey literature database and websites of WHO, UNDRR, and Prevention Web also searched. After removing duplicate articles, abstracts of the relevant titles were reviewed and eligible articles were included for full text review. Finally, the study variables were extracted from selected articles. Results: The search strategy resulted in 8 final relevant articles from total number of 48980 articles. All final articles noted meaningful effect of flood on hypertension. There were founded positive correlation between anxiety level, property loss, financial loss, physical activity, use of alcoholic beverages, interruption of medication and medical cares with hypertension. Different studies have reported also long-term effects of flooding on blood pressure. Conclusions: The flood has effect on blood pressure in affected population. According to the importance of hypertension and its burden, screening are recommended in the affected community. Keywords: Hypertension, Disaster, Flood, Blood pressure

Despite many discoveries over the past 20 years regarding the etiopathogenesis of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, as well as significant advances in our understanding of microbial biofilms, the incidence of these pathologies continues to rise. For this reason, it was clear that other strategies were needed to eliminate biofilms. In this review, the literature database was searched for studies on locally delivered synthetic agents that exhibit anti-biofilm properties and their potential use in the treatment of two important oral diseases: periodontitis and peri-implantitis.

Different in-vehicle interface designs have been proposed to support drivers in operating vehicle automation systems. Measures of visual attention are particularly useful in the evaluation of such interfaces, especially in conditions when driving performance measures cannot be used, i.e., when the driver is not physically controlling the vehicle. In this paper, we present a literature review on visual attention measures in the assessment of in-vehicle interfaces to support the use of driving automation. This review was a preliminary pilot study for a larger, ongoing scoping review investigating visual attention and driving automation more broadly. Based on a systematic search of one engineering literature database, this review focused on driving automation that does not require the driver to physically control the vehicle but does require driver involvement in some capacity. The findings of this review contributed to the development of the larger review and can help identify future research trends.

Pendahuluan.

Fine-tuned by millions of years of evolution, snake venoms have frightened but also fascinated humanity and nowadays they constitute potential resources for drug development, therapeutics and antivenoms. The continuous progress of mass spectrometry techniques and latest advances in proteomics workflows enabled toxinologists to decipher venoms by modern omics technologies, so-called ‘venomics’. A tremendous upsurge reporting on snake venom proteomes could be observed. Within this review we focus on the highly venomous and widely distributed subfamily of Viperinae (Serpentes: Viperidae). A detailed public literature database search was performed (2003–2020) and we extensively reviewed all compositional venom studies of the so-called Old-World Vipers. In total, 54 studies resulted in 89 venom proteomes. The Viperinae venoms are dominated by four major, four secondary, six minor and several rare toxin families and peptides, respectively. The multitude of different venomics approaches complicates the comparison of venom composition datasets and therefore we differentiated between non-quantitative and three groups of quantitative workflows. The resulting direct comparisons within these groups show remarkable differences on the intra- and interspecies level across genera with a focus on regional differences. In summary, the present compilation is the first comprehensive up-to-date database on Viperinae venom proteomes and differentiating between analytical methods and workflows.
