The resignation of Ratu Tisha from his position as Secretary General of PSSI consisted of many parties. That's because there is a lot that Ratu Tisha can enjoy, both for PSSI as an organization, as well as for the Indonesian national team as the end of the football achievement itself. The responses of various football people were covered by many media to become news. This study aims to find out how the online media Kompas and Detik frame the news about the resignation of Ratu Tisha from the PSSI General Secretariat position based on the framing device of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and uses analysis of Pan and Kosicki's framing model analysis using four structural dimensions of news texts, namely syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. as a data analysis technique. This study finds the fact that Detik.com tends to be more serious in providing headlines than Kompas.com. In addition, this study also found the fact that Kompas.com tends to be more descriptive and only gives a few statements in its news writing

In Greece, sport as a tool for the promotion of gender integration and social justice has been included in the upcoming National Action Plan for Gender Equality (NAPGE) for 2021-2025 by the General Secretariat for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The social space of sport is also included in the currently in effect NAPGE, formulated for 2016-2020 by the General Secretariat for Gender Equality (GSGE) of the Ministry of the Interior. This article begins with a presentation of the upcoming-updated NAPGE 2021-2025 and subsequently examines NAPGE 2016-2020 which is currently in effect. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the strategic goals of the NAPGE are being implemented in the Hellenic Military Higher Education Institutions and specifically in their academic curricula and programs, focusing on coed sport activities. A strategic goal of the NAPGE 2016-2020, as in the one to follow for 2021-2025, is to promote equality in education, culture, sport, and the media. To eliminate gender inequalities the NAPGE, presently in effect in Greek society, sets six strategic goals, and incorporates the gender dimension in all social, political, educational and sports bodies. Following European Commission guidelines, the NAPGE priority areas focus on promoting health; eliminating gender-based violence; supporting equality in education, training, culture, sport, and the media; promoting social integration and equality. As regards education, the main objectives include eliminating gender stereotypes and all forms of discrimination. Research shows that women's sport participation challenges gender stereotypes. Subsequently, women’s integration and gender equality in the military is discussed, using the curricula and sport programs at the five military schools/academies along with the interview data from our previous study with twelve active-duty female officers, former cadets at these five institutions. Our findings indicate that the gender dimension is taken into account: the NAPGE is being implemented, to a certain extent. Our results show that coed sport activities and team sports cultivate acceptance, cohesion, teamwork, and collaborations, leading to women’s integration and inclusion, in addition to a healthier and more productive military environment and culture.

Article visualizations:

The required input data were based on a limited number of available studies, which mainly include a survey performed by the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research in the coastal area of the Elefsis Bay where sediments were deposited after the catastrophic event. We compared the results of the model with calculations performed within a previous Thesis in 2018 using TELEMAC-2D and SISYPHE.

The present paper is based on the Diploma Thesis of the first author; it was performed within the project “National Network on Climate Change and its Impacts (CLIMPACT)” of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology.

Figure 1. Last January, the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union produced an estimate that, by the year 2035, the drones' sector will create up to 100,000 new jobs and, in addition, will have an economic impact of more than ten billion euros per year. This chapter takes its cue precisely from the central importance of unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones, and tries to sum up their future. Indeed, despite the enormous success of drones over the decades, many are the criticisms related to unmanned aircraft on board. The first section aims at outlining an historical framework, while the second section analyses the impressive role played by drones within the counterterrorism policy of the US presidency, with particular regard to Barack Obama's mandate. The third section applies a SWOT type analysis to UAVs, taking into account both their advantages and disadvantages. Finally, the fourth section investigates the human factor problem within UAVs, which was inspired by Dr. Giovanni Miranda's PhD thesis.

This paper proposes a semantic Natural Language Processing (NLP) approach used to assist in the automated characterization of information relevant to compliance activities. In this context, the Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) technique was used to assist in the dimensionality reduction process. The evaluated results were achieved through the submission of two databases to the model, namely: Database of Audit reports issued by the State General Secretariat of Management (SCGE – Secretaria da Controladoria-Geral do Estado, in Portuguese) of Pernambuco between the years of 2010 to 2019 and a Base of Appellate Decisions issued by the Brazilian Federal Accountability Office (TCU – Tribunal de Contas da União, in Portuguese) in 2019. The performance of two dimensionality reduction methods was evaluated: Tf-idf and LSA. To validate the results, K-means was used as a clustering technique. In addition, it was observed that the Silhouette technique helped us find the best cluster value for a given data sample. In the results, LSA associated with K-means presented the best performance in both databases, having achieved the best results in the TCU Base of Appellate Decisions.

The article examines the features of the international search for persons seeking or granted asylum, provides information on the recommendations and principles in force in this area, as well as on the decisions of the General Assembly of Interpol, the General Secretariat and the Executive Committee of Interpol. The article considers the official statistics, domestic and foreign legislation and scientific literature on the topic of the work. The purpose of the study is to analyze the system of abuse of the possibilities of including persons seeking and receiving refugee status into the international wanted list, or, conversely, unilateral termination of the international search for such persons by units of the Interpol General Secretariat. The methodological basis of the research was formed by the statistical method, analysis, synthesis, induction, system-structural and formal-logical methods. As a result of the work carried out, a sufficiently detailed analysis of Russian and international legislation in this area, as well as the genesis of the latter’s development in different periods, is provided. The problems of legal regulation of the international search for persons seeking or granted asylum, and the stemming from them abuses on the part of the wanted persons and the states of stay, are considered. The article examines the foreign experience in granting asylum to persons wanted by Interpol, as well as the attitude of international organizations to the problem under consideration. These provisions will positively affect the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of victims of criminal encroachments, the implementation of the principle of inevitability of punishment. Conclusions are made about the importance of the Russian Federation’s efforts to overcome the existing problems of finding persons who evade criminal responsibility and punishment, and who have received refugee status in foreign countries.

The digital turn in anthropology and ethnography is not a sudden rupture to the field’s epistemological quest. In recent years, after the visual turn and the evolution of Digital Humanities, there have been notable efforts to address the digital aspect of social reality by several anthropologists worldwide. However, the focus has been predominantly on the observation of internet cultures and communities, mainly tackling phenomena that ‘take place’ in the digital realm, and on the techniques and issues that arise from conducting online research with limited contributions to the theoretical ramifications of recent advancements on the technological front. We argue that the methodological repercussions of the discussion around digital ethnographic writing modalities has not yet been adequately addressed, which reflects a wider tendency of the anthropological lens to remain on the “observant” side of things and not partake in the active discussion and practices regarding knowledge production and representation. Drawing on the research project “Ethnography and/as hypertext fiction: representing surrogate motherhood” (HYFRESMO), currently implemented at the Anthropology Department of Panteion University and funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation & the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, the paper seeks to provide an example of the creative accommodation of digital media in the field of anthropology. In order to do so, it focuses on the intersections between the object of study (new reproductive technologies) and the writing tropes made available by new digital technologies. After conducting ‘traditional’ physical fieldwork on surrogate motherhood, and combining offline and online observation and communication with research interlocutors, our methodological proposition does not aspire to radicalize the work already implemented by fellow anthropologists in the direction of data gathering or performing participant observation in the digital/cyber-sphere; rather, in our endeavor to create a transmedia, non-text-oriented, fictional ethnographic account (during but mainly after) the fieldwork experience, we propose that digital ethnographic representation becomes a very privileged under-researched terrain upon which to experiment on the transformative potential of the digital turn in the humanities and creatively tie together the research topics and their representational potentials.
