In contrast to the tremendous power of Pd-based Mizoroki–Heck reactions, methods to achieve such processes with other metals, particularly Ni, are generally lacking. Herein, we delineate specific conditions that can enable cascade variants of these C–C bond forming events to proceed smoothly under Ni catalysis. Critically, these reactions work with equal facility as their Pd-initiated counterparts when conducted intramolecularly, and in many cases are devoid of any Ni–H-mediated alkene isomerization within the starting materials and/or products as has typically been observed with previous Ni-based protocols. When conducted intermolecularly, the developed variant affords unique regioselectivity in product formation, substantively favoring 6-endo additions over the more standard 5-exo counterparts observed under Pd-based conditions. Finally, applications of the developed procedures to two different natural product syntheses are described

At present, a significant amount of experimental data has been accumulated, recording the process of the occurrence of chemical reactions. Analysis of these data by a set of Data Mining algorithms provides important practical information for finding effective conditions for carrying out reactions, at which the maximum amount of the target product is obtained at minimal cost. In this paper, using the example of working with a database containing data on the course of the carbonylation reaction of various olefins, it is shown how the software package developed by us allows us to extract useful knowledge that contributes to an increase in the efficiency of chemical reactions.

This study empirically analyzes effective conditions for cross-border “learning by hiring” in the electronics industry. Many previous studies have indicated that the mobility of engineers serves as a conduit for knowledge diffusion and that knowledge is more likely transferred when the geographical distance is short, that is, when the conduit is short. However, the relationship between conduit thickness and density and the knowledge spillover effect has only rarely discussed. The findings of this study suggest that it is more effective to hire multiple people simultaneously for learning by hiring from companies in other countries.

The paper highlights the main motivation aspects of military highly specialized language training of future intelligence officers of Ukrainian Armed Forces. The motivation resources for forming the professional foreign language competence of military students of higher military educational establishments are determined. The effective conditions for studying professional terminology as the basis for the skills of a future expert are specified. The necessity of organizing an effective training process of studying professional terms is substantiated with the aim of creating the most effective conditions for learning professional terms for terminology, the latter being the basis of professional communication. The algorithm for introducing highly specialized terminology is outlined in order to better comprehend and reveal the essence of the concept and structure of the terms. The emphasis is laid on the technique of introducing highly specialized terminology. Thus the process of foreign language classes organization makes it possible to master professional texts in the original. The authors maintain that main methods of rendering contemporary English military vocabulary (single- and multi-component terminology, abbreviations and shortenings, set terminological units, neologisms) into Ukrainian are as follows: lexical equivalent translation, transformation translation borrowing (transcription / transliteration), descriptive translation, loan translation and others. The difficulties in rendering military vocabulary of the NATO publications are related to the pragmatic aspects of translation.

Referring to the European and especially the German education system, this article first identifies that both forms of governance in educational systems as well as pedagogical professionalization have fallen behind. We present new proposals for a substantive and evidence-based reinterpretation and reshaping of what education is and can be and how educational systems can be changed. In order to address these shortcomings, we follow suggestions of a systemic-constructivist pedagogy, and highlight concrete strategies and starting points of an awareness-based system change in the field of educational system development are pointed out. This attempt to not only rethink education, but also to shape it, is based on a critical analysis of the often stagnant internal educational reforms, and the concepts and routines that characterize these stagnant reforms. We hypothesize that, in order to break free from this stagnation, a continuous self-transforming subjectivity of the responsible actors is necessary. This explanatory framework is extended in this article to the figure of the ”reflexible person” (Arnold, 2019a), whose main characteristic is reflexibility, in the sense of being reflexive as well as flexible. The reflexible person possesses practiced and strengthened competencies for observation and reflection including of the self, as well as reinterpretation and transformation. These competences are substantiated and specified as prerequisites and effective conditions for an awareness-based system change in educational systems. In addition, possible ways of promoting and developing them are pointed out.

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a competency that must be mastered by third-level vocational school students in an electrical motor installation course. PLCs can be operated using programming languages such as sequence function charts, block diagrams, instruction lists, ladder diagrams, and others. This competency is important because it is often used in the industrial world. To create better and more effective conditions in the teaching and learning process, the development of teaching aids is needed to improve and enhance students' skills. This research, to design and development a useful teaching and learning tool teaching medium to help teachers teach concepts PLC-based electrical control systems, both theoretically and practically. The ADDIE model was used in developing the aids. The verification stage is carried out to ensure that the teaching aids that have been developed are suitable for use. In addition, this kit is relatively small with dimensions of 45x34x20 mm and is easy to move and can be used in various places. Confirmation involves lecturers and teachers who teach the field of electrical engineering. The results of the study found that the respondents strongly agreed that the PLC teaching aids was suitable for use in the learning process. Respondents also stated that using the tool because did not waste time and was easy to use. However, it is suggested that further research be conducted to identify the effectiveness of this teaching aid on students.

The aim of the study is to reveal the content of the structural components of managerial competence, determine the influence of certain pedagogical conditions on its formation among students during the training in the master's program in “socio-cultural management”, and experimental verification and quantitative analysis of these conditions. The object of the study is the process of personal-professional formation of master's students of the faculties of humanitarian management. The positive influence of high motivation on the level of managerial competence has been proved. It has been revealed that the value-motivational component has the least dependence on the duration of training.  The article offers effective conditions of forming managerial competence, which have been tested experimentally and confirmed the possibility of their introduction into practice.

This paper aims to investigate factors affecting the access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)to external financing in Kazakhstan. The data set of this research is obtained from the Business Environment and Enterprise Performance Surveys (BEEPS) conducted by the World Bank in Kazakhstan in 2019. The results of the analysis showed that such factors as revenue, the availability of collateral, previously received loans, have a positive impact on the decision to grant a loan by financial institutions. However, the results of the analysis did not show a statistically significant effect of the size and age of the enterprise on access to credit, which was proved by a number of studies in other countries. The results of the analysis also showed that access to external financing is significantly limited for enterprises implementing innovative products or services, which is explained by the riskiness of these enterprises from the point of view of creditors. It is interesting to note that the analysis showed a statistically significant positive relationship between access to credit and a female manager, which proves that there is no discrimination on gender grounds when making a decision to issue a loan in Kazakhstan. The results obtained can be used to develop more effective conditions for lending to SMEs, as well as to improve scoring models for SMEs, where the main criteria may be the history and potential of the company, rather than the current financial situation and the availability of collateral.

The present study deals with the investigation of catalytic cycloalkylation reactions of phenol with 1-methylcyclopentene. KU-23 and aluminum phenolate were used as catalysts for the process. The effect of kinetic parameters (temperature, duration, molar ratios of the initial components and the amount of catalyst) on the yield and selectivity of methylcyclopentyl phenols obtained as a result of scientific research was investigated. As a result, effective conditions were found for the production of para- and ortho-, ortho- (1-methylcyclopentyl) phenols with high yield and selectivity. It was determined that high yield of target product in the presence of phenol, 1-methylcyclopentene and catalyst KU-23, was 71.2% for phenol and selectivity for target product - 92.8% is obtained under the following conditions of cycloalkylation reaction: temperature 110°C, reaction time-5 hours, molar ratio phenol to methylcyclopentene-1 : 1, the amount of catalyst-10% according to the phenol taken. The cycloalkylation reaction of phenol with 1-methylcyclopentene in the presence of aluminum phenolate catalyst was carried out in an autoclave in a nitrogen environment and effective conditions were found: temperature 260°C, reaction time - 5 hours, molar ratio of phenol to 1-methylcyclopentene 1: 2, amount of catalyst 20% according to the phenol taken. Under these conditions, the yield of the target product is 44.3% for the phenol taken, and the selectivity is 87.6% for the target product. The chemical structures of the synthesized para- and ortho-, ortho- (1-methylcyclopentyl) phenols were confirmed by IR-, 1H and NMR spectroscopy, and physicochemical parameters were determined.

Outdated-waste-carbon-fiber-reinforced olefin composites (oCFOCs) were fabricated with easily disposable polyolefin resins, polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and low-density polyethylene (LDPE), by compressive molding using a hot press. The flexural and impact strengths of the oCFOCs from each respective resin type and oCF content, ranging from 35 to 70 wt.%, were increased by the aging treatment (120 °C and 95% humidity under a pressure of 0.8 MPa) until an aging time of three days, due to improved resin impregnation. For the oCFOC with PP, the hydrogen bond between PP and developed C-O groups due to the aging treatment and the existing silane layer of oCF is considered to assist cohesion between the resin and oCF. In particular, PP and 45 wt.% oCF content were the most effective conditions for improving the oCFOCs’ mechanical properties, in addition to endowing the oCFOCs with good moldability and dimensional stability. Our results demonstrate that durable recycled composites can be manufactured using oCF and PP.
