Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a competency that must be mastered by third-level vocational school students in an electrical motor installation course. PLCs can be operated using programming languages such as sequence function charts, block diagrams, instruction lists, ladder diagrams, and others. This competency is important because it is often used in the industrial world. To create better and more effective conditions in the teaching and learning process, the development of teaching aids is needed to improve and enhance students' skills. This research, to design and development a useful teaching and learning tool teaching medium to help teachers teach concepts PLC-based electrical control systems, both theoretically and practically. The ADDIE model was used in developing the aids. The verification stage is carried out to ensure that the teaching aids that have been developed are suitable for use. In addition, this kit is relatively small with dimensions of 45x34x20 mm and is easy to move and can be used in various places. Confirmation involves lecturers and teachers who teach the field of electrical engineering. The results of the study found that the respondents strongly agreed that the PLC teaching aids was suitable for use in the learning process. Respondents also stated that using the tool because did not waste time and was easy to use. However, it is suggested that further research be conducted to identify the effectiveness of this teaching aid on students.

Students that take the Web Design Technologies programming course think this course is difficult to learn because they need to master various programming languages which are Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript (JS), and jQuery. Therefore, in line with the development of technology, lecturers should change traditional methods to modern learning methods with the use of technology that is suitable to the millennial generation. This situation is also due to the COVID-19 pandemic phenomenon which requires lecturers to act creatively in using teaching aids that are able to assist students' self-learning using online methods and distance learning. Therefore, this study was conducted to study the use of Battle Web gamification that was built using the ADDIE model as a teaching aid for the Web Design Technologies course. Questionnaires with six constructs were distributed to get feedback with the involvement of 53 students. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS software. Item reliability is implemented to ensure the quality of the questionnaire items and the data obtained. The results show that students give positive results related to the use of Battle Web in their Teaching and Learning (T&L) sessions. Battle Web impacts students' learning process in terms of motivation, attitude, and cognitive development because Battle Web has appropriate multimedia elements, clear instructions and the language used is easy to understand.

Nowadays, innovation for teaching aids is an important requirement to ensure the teaching and learning process can run smoothly. Coinciding with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 (Ministry of Education) through the ninth surge of Global Online Learning, the development of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) was built. The ADDIE model has been adapted for this development. The study aims to develop an appropriate interactive learning for Food and Beverage Presentation subjects based on the Vocational College (VC) syllabus. In research development, researchers use Richey and Klein research recommendations, using Alpha and Beta tests in the evaluation phase of the study. The population of the study involved 155 Catering students at Muar Vocational College and the sample of the study were 60 of third and fourth-year Diploma students. The sampling method used is the purposive sampling and the instrument used in the form of the questionnaire. Data collected were collected and analyzed descriptively using Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS) version 23.0. Based on the analysis, the reliability value of the instrument is 0.997 and shows that the reliability of the instrument is at a high level. The findings show that the use of MOOC can increase computer literacy (3.75), interest (3.78) and student learning styles (3.75) and make the learning process more interesting. In addition, the findings show that the use of the MOOC application can help students in improving the performance and achievement of students in learning and thus can be an alternative to diversifying the teaching and learning process in VC.

This research aims to test the effect of the kit Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) on the achievement of vocational school students' competencies in electrical motor control courses for form 3 students in Aceh, Indonesia. Constructivist theory and Bloom's Taxonomy are referenced in this study in relation to learning. While the ADDIE model is used in relation to product development. This study used a quasi -experimental design with pre- and post -tests. The population (N = 333) in this study was level 3 vocational students in Aceh, Indonesia. The number of samples was 98 people, consisting of the experimental group (n = 50) and the control group (n = 48) selected by cluster random technique. The instruments used in this study included pre- and post -test interview protocols. The values of the KR20 reliability coefficient of the question items on the knowledge aspect were 0.97 and 0.81 on the skills aspect. The results of the descriptive analysis found that the experimental group (mean = 64.08; SD = 4.548) showed better competency achievement than the control group (mean = 63.06; SD = 5.487). The result of hypothesis test using Mann Whitney test is [Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = .000, p <0.05] which means that the teaching aids developed have successfully had a positive effect in improving the achievement of student competencies. The implications of this study have produced a teaching aid that can be used as a template by teachers to build teaching aids that are more affordable, easy and safe to use so that they can be motivated to innovate in learning and become a new career opportunity. Given that the Covid-19 epidemic has affected face-to-face learning, the proposal for further research is the need to integrate logic control programming (PLC) learning aids into a technology-based learning trend. Researchers, on the other hand, suggest a broader scope of study whether teachers and students in a wider area and other fields of knowledge related to the utilization of PLC programming.

<p>This study aims to describe the study on the GI (Group Investigation) toward teacher to reduce students’ anxiety in speaking skill. The research design of the study was qualitative which focus on descriptive qualitative research. It involved the Vocational school students as the participants. The data were obtained through the observation during the teaching and learning process and an interview with the teachers. In this study, the researcher accomplished several steps to analyze the data, namely reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusion. The first research finding revealed that Group Investigation was used by the teacher and the students in the class and out of the class. The teacher utilized Group Investigation to reduce students’ anxiety in speaking skill toward teachers’ response. Meanwhile, the students used Group Investigation model to give corrections and suggestions on their friends’ speaking in pairs or groups. The second findings revealed that the students gave positive responses toward the use of Group Investigation on speaking. The students said that Group Investigation is a practical model, develop students’ speaking skill, and interesting medium which make student enthusiastic. It also developed the students speaking ability, and able to motivated the students in speaking.</p>

<p>Students have difficulties in relating the chemistry phenomena they learned and the life around them. It is necessary to have teaching aids which can help them to relate between chemistry with the phenomena occurred in everyday life, which is chemistry’s teaching aids based on local wisdom. There are 3 teaching aids which used in chemistry teaching and learning, i.e. clay molymod, electrolyte tester, electroplating tool. The chemistry teaching aids was reviewed by media experts, material experts, and also reviewers. The reviewers’ assessment showed that all of the teaching aids have a very good quality. Based on the response from Senior High School’ students, they all agree that the teaching learning process using the teaching aids could improve their learning motivations.</p>

Recently, game-based multimedia development has been increasing rapidly. Game-based multimedia is not only used for entertaining but also for teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, for the majority of elementary school students, numeracy learning is still considered as a difficult subject to be learned and has not attracted students’ interest because it still uses vertical methods. The objective of this research is to examine the implementation of game-based multimedia in learning horizontal numeracy. In this game-based multimedia, horizontal numeracy material is presented in the form of a game. Horizontal numeracy material begins with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Game-based multimedia is implemented to 20 students in grade 3 elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia. Subsequently, the way students learn the materials and their learning outcomes are explored after using this multimedia. The results show that the students can learn horizontal numeracy excitingly; moreover, they can easily understand the concept of horizontal numeracy quickly. It is indicated by by the increasing of average post-test value.

In the implementation of learning activities that occur at SD Plus Pesantren Al-Anwar, problems when implementing learning activities, among others, are the media used are not supportive, teachers use learning resources in the form of books and have not used certain learning media. This is the cause of students tend to be passive in learning activities. When learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 learning 2 in class IV the teacher uses image media in teaching and learning activities, making students less understanding of the material. As a result, students are less interested in teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted in class IV, which consisted of 20 students. In the development research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to provide a good influence for students, the Fun Thinkers book media is to foster student learning activities and achievements and must use media that can foster student interest in learning so that they are enthusiastic in undergoing the learning process. Research using the ADDIE model which passes through 5 stages.

This research aimed to review the professionalism of teachers in the face of the learning characters of elementary school students. In the learning process, a teacher's role was critical. Thus, teachers need to be professional in managing learning in the classroom in terms of media management, models and learning resources. This study used mixed methods approach between qualitative and quantitative. This research used online poll instruments and spread to 24 respondents. Respondents were taken from teachers at the elementary school level. The steps in this study were (1) the formulation of the problem (2) looking for the theory foundation, (3) the poll instrument formulation, (4) the distribution of polls, (5) data presentation and (6) drawing conclusions and suggestions. The results revealed that the elementary school teacher had a variety of methods and action in the learning such as the use of discussion, demonstration, lecturing and problem solving methods with a variety of specific reasons. The character of learners became the first consideration on implementing the variety of methods and action. So, the learning process tended to become more varied. The expectation of this research could capture teacher’s performance and give basis to improve the teachers’ profesionalism in the classrooms teaching and learning process.

In line with the district development program of Dharmasraya regency, namely the Dharmasraya Smart City Program and the implementation of Dharmasraya Smart Education, Edugame is currently one of the favourite innovations being used in the teaching and learning process for the primary school students. This study was aimed at creating a learning innovation using Edugame as a media for conveying information to students as well as inviting students to play. In addition, the approach method used was in the form of media development using the ADDIE (Analysis Design Develop Implementation and Evaluation) development method. This development method was started by conducting the field observations, then designing the Edugame interface to evaluate the shortcomings of the Edugame. From the results of the whiteboard test, it was proven that this application had succeeded in delivering learning materials to primary school students of SDN 08 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra. In sum, the teachers are assisted by the Edugame since the students learn independently to explore each Edugame and try to get the highest score. Learning media in general is a tool for teaching and learning. Everything that can be used to stimulate the thoughts, feelings, attention and abilities or skills of students so as to encourage the learning process. This limitation is quite broad and includes the understanding of resources, environment, people and methods used for learning / training purposes. Barriers to the use of teaching aids in supporting student interest in learning, obstacles include: conditioning students' attention to learning with teaching aids, teacher learning methods that tend to be less varied so that students are less enthusiastic in learning if the teacher is monotonous, the teaching aids available in schools are incomplete, making teaching aids in accordance with the material and student input is difficult, the minimum time to prepare learning with teaching aids.
