This manuscript presented an autonomous home farm for predicting metrological characteristics that can not only automate the process of growing crops but also, due to a neural network, significantly increase the productivity of the farm. The developed farm monitors and manages the following indicators: illumination, soil PH, air temperature, earth temperature, air humidity, CO2 concentration, and soil moisture. The presented farm can also be considered as a device for testing various weather conditions to determine the optimal temperature characteristics for different crops. This farm as a result is completely autonomous grows tomatoes at home.

Since the middle of the twentieth century, there has been a widespread increase in the prevalence of allergic diseases, especially in developed countries. Much attention is paid to the changing climate and its influence on the development of allergies, mainly of the respiratory system. In many countries, studies are intensifying to study the relationship of various weather phenomena, air pollution, Earth temperature with the course of certain allergic diseases of the respiratory tract. Global strategies for the treatment and prevention of allergic diseases are being developed. This review provides data from international studies demonstrating the negative impact on human health and the development of allergic diseases of the respiratory system, in particular asthma: a global rise in Earth temperature, air pollution, dust storms, forest fires, dampness in rooms and atmospheric mold, thunderstorms and floods.

Traditionally, life has been thought improbable without assuming a special principle, such as vital power. Here, I try to understand organization of living systems in terms of a more rational and materialistic notion. I have introduced the notion of inhomogeneity, which is a novel interpretation of “negentropy”, and equivalent to “bound information”, according to the probabilistic interpretation of entropy. Free energy of metabolites is a labile inhomogeneity, whereas genetic information is a more stable inhomogeneity. Dynamic emergence can result from the conflict between two inhomogeneities, one labile and another stable, just like dialectic synthesis results from the conflict between thesis and antithesis. Life is a special type of dynamic emergence, which is coupled with reproduction mediated by genetic information. Biological membrane formation is taken as an example to formulate self-organization of biological systems through dynamic emergence. This system is ultimately driven by the Sun/Earth temperature difference, and is consistent with an increase in probability in the world. If we consider all entropy production related to life, such as degradation of materials and death of organisms, and ultimately the cooling of the Sun, probability always increases with the progress of living systems.

The article explores the oil and gas generation properties and hydrocarbon content of Lower Kur depression and Baku archipelago based on the studies of morphology, space position of local uplifts, types of faults, evolution of mud volcanoes, distribution properties of compressive stresses and earth temperature environment. It was defined that as a result of action of longitudinal and lateral folding mechanisms predominantly brachy-form structures had been formed, the anticline zones and trends of which show that their space position is controlled by compressive stresses arising within the narrow north-western part of the Iranian-Afghani plate. The folding process in Oligocene-Pliocene series of the South-Caspian depression basically takes place due to the dynamics of active Maikop clays. Local uplifts of reviewed area are originated no later than the end of the Miocene. Carried out analysis justifies that the intensity of folding processes within Lower Kur depression and Baku archipelago rises both in time and from the south-east towards the north-west. A diagram of vertical oil generation zoning for Lower Kur depression and Baku archipelago has been developed based on the earth temperature data, according to which it was established that the Upper Cretaceous, Paleogene-Miocene sediments and the Productive Series represent strata generating commercial oil and gas.


Global warming has become a problem of world wide, because it endangers living things. The consequences of global warming include the increase of the earth temperature and climate change. The increase of temperature (heating) in a city which is referred to urban heat island (UHI) is also the same problem in architecture. This research aimed to analyze the ambienttemperature of the UHI due to the motor vehicleactivities. Samples were taken from several locations: (1) Bahu Mall Parking area; (2) Manado Town Square 2 parking area; (3) along the Wolter Monginsidi street in front of Bahu Mall and (4) along the Piere Tendean street in front of Manado Town Square. This research used a quantitative method with a field survey. This research found that the ambient temperature increased when motor vehicles were stationary with engine on or moved. The temperature increased due to the heat from the engine and the reflection of the sun’s heat from the body of the vehicles. The heat level obtained from the survey was 34,8 0C to 39,4 0C. For this reason, a specific material for vehicle’s body is needed to prevent the increase of ambient temperature.

The issue of climate change is not of the recent past. However, it was late in the nineteenth century in the US that the phenomenon was defined and framed as an issue of public interest by those who say it mattered. The reason was the occurrence of indicators such as a rise in earth temperature and prolonged summer season. The mass displacement of people from their places of inhibits and damages to their properties forced the government to take the issue seriously. A change in the administration in the federal capital, along with pressure from civil society and demand from various groups to resolve the issue of climate change, proved to be something that ultimately led to the resolution of the issue and taken seriously by the government of the day. While answering the question of how the issue of climate change made its way to the agenda-setting stage of policymaking, Jhon Kingdon model of agendasetting has been applied, which is more relevant and acceptable in terms of conceptual logics and the issue at hand.

The aim of this work is to study the effects induced by climate changes in the framework of the stochastic resonance approach. First, a wavelet cross-correlation analysis on Earth temperature data concerning the last 5,500,000 years is performed; this analysis confirms a correlation between the planet’s temperature and the 100,000, 41,000, and 23,000-year periods of the Milankovitch orbital cycles. Then, the stochastic resonance model is invoked. Specific attention is given to the study of the impact of the registered global temperature increase within the stochastic model. Further, a numerical simulation has been performed, based on: (1) A double-well potential, (2) an external periodic modulation, corresponding to the orbit eccentricity cycle, and (3) an increased value of the global Earth temperature. The effect of temperature increase represents one of the novelties introduced in the present study and is determined by downshifting the interaction potential used within the stochastic resonance model. The numeric simulation results show that, for simulated increasing values of the global temperature, the double-well system triggers changes, while at higher temperatures (as in the case of the absence of a global temperature increase although with a different threshold) the system goes into a chaotic regime. The wavelet analysis allows characterization of the stochastic resonance condition through the evaluation of the signal-to-noise ratio. On the basis of the obtained findings, we hypothesize that the global temperature increase can suppress, on a large time scale corresponding to glacial cycles, the external periodic modulation effects and, hence, the glacial cycles.

An introduction to long-term climate-neutral energy makes clear that most arises from the Sun or the motions of the Sun-Earth system. Quantum physics is an essential part of understanding the Sun’s energy source, nuclear fusion. The expected depletion times of oil and other fossil fuels are discussed. The most recent 500,000 years of Earth temperature and sea level are surveyed and shown to correlate closely with carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. Sea level and temperature are correlated and move together on time scales of five thousand years. The definition of sustainable energy, the topic of this textbook, is very straightforward. This is the energy that will be available on (after) a timescale set by the earliest benchmarks of our civilization, let us say the timescale of the earliest pyramids or the Chinese Wall, visible from space.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a greenhouse gas that could increase earth temperature. Through the photosynthesis process, plants absorb CO2 then convert it into carbohydrates, then sequester it in the body of plants. The purpose of the study is to estimate the changes in the carbon stock at the Arboretum University of Lampung. The methods used were stock difference by counting the carbon changes or difference between carbon stored in 2010 and 2016. While the stand biomass estimation measured by trees general allometric equations with non-destructive sampling. The results showed that the total carbon was 46% of the total biomass. Carbon stock in 2016 were about 226.75 ton/ha, showing an increase of 59.72% or 84.78 ton/ha compared to in 2010’s. The increase was due to additional growth of 804 trees as a result of plantation activity and natural regeneration. Keywords: Arboretum, biomass, carbon, necromass, University of Lampung.
