Vector graphics and 3D modeling have opened up a wide range of perspectives for designers to create various art objects. The use of computer graphics greatly simplified the process of sketch creating, as it provided the ability to change, add colors, and edit entire groups of objects. 3D modeling made it possible to recreate products, taking into account the smallest details in a virtual environment, compose an interior, and perform animation of various processes. The research object is the computer programs Corel Draw and 3D max and their importance for the methodology of development and creation of art objects. As a result of the study, it was found that vector graphics and 3D modeling programs not only made it easier for designers to create art objects, but also made it possible to improve the level of design by changing the usual perception. According to the authors, software products influenced the development of design, which made it possible to create any objects in a virtual environment.

The adaptive construction of cultural centers with large performance spaces based on revitalization projects has become a popular trend in foreign architecture. Buildings and structures for various purposes can be as an object for the implementation of the project. The main goal of the project is to revive the role of a public place, to adapt it to local or city needs, as well as to create functional blocks for holding mass cultural events. Within the framework of the study, the objects were selected in such a way that their historical functional component was different. However, as a result of adaptation, they formed large cultural spaces. Their main element is concert technical equipment, which meets the functional purpose. The identification of the main tendencies of similar projects for the revitalization of buildings is based on a comparison of adaptive objects according to certain criteria. The selection of criteria was made based on the possibility of comprehensively analyzing the project data and identifying the main factors of the revitalization process, its goals, and results, as well. Based on the data obtained as a result of comparing objects according to the evaluation criteria, conclusions were formulated about current solutions to the issues of adaptive use, and the stages were analyzed and the results were summarized

Beach recreation areas are one of the most favorable for walking and recreation of residents and guests of Sochi city. Therefore, the educational design of beach recreation areas in terms of environmental design aims to develop the image of the city of Sochi as a "resort city". The historical background of the use of natural balances of the coastal territory for mass use is considered. The beach areas of Sochi city are part of the coastal strip. The organization of natural beaches was associated with the removal of natural rocks into the sea from the mouths of rivers such as Sochi, Bytkha, Vereshchaginka, Khosta, Mzymta, and others. The creation of artificial natural beaches and the increase in their number is associated with the use of engineering structures in the Soviet period since the 1930s. The study of the formation of beaches on the Black Sea coast allowed the students of Sochi State University to competently organize methods for designing beach areas in such areas of the city as Dagomys, Central District, Khosta District. The projects were carried out by students and were focused on releasing the area of beach areas from unauthorized buildings; an arrangement of areas available for modernization by introducing new planning solutions. Reference objects in the form of buildings in the coastal zone are proposed. The forms of modernization of embankments with beach areas in student projects depend on the resolution of problematic issues for each site separately

Politics and marketing and socio-cultural aspects manipulate the evolution of design. The objective world of a person, created by designers, leads to changes in human perception of reality, reflecting social changes. The development of modern design, which is within the rigid framework of globalization, is looking for ways to regenerate the humanistic world, experimenting with ethnocultural identity. Elements of national and traditional art, in particular, ornament, become one of the instruments of the designer, who forms a new aesthetic. Using national and ethnic traditions with the help of images, ornaments, color palettes, and materials, the goal of modern design is to find new ways to meet the new consumer paradigm - creating a unique product that reflects local, personal, and emotional components, thus avoiding the globalization processes

In the conditions of the lack of cultural and social resources of the largest non-regional city, there is a need to popularize and update the existing historical and architectural heritage of the Brezhnev period. This practice is increasingly becoming an effective strategy for improving the tourist attractiveness of the city, revising the semantic components of the city's brand and its identity. The methodological basis of the research is as follows: problem statement, historical and cultural research and analysis, combining disparate facts into an integral presentation model. This model forms the basis for city audio guides and landmarks mapping. As a result of the study, the author concludes that the Soviet historical and architectural heritage can become a valuable resource for transmitting information not only about the past but also a tool for transmitting valuable aesthetic and cultural attitudes into the future, which is in great demand in modern Russian realities. According to the author, it is not too late to stop the process of restructuring and destruction of valuable modernist architecture, while using such methods of heritage actualization as popularization, tourism and research activism, socio-project methods, myth-making as well.

The growing interest in Orthodox Christianity and the transfer of many monasteries that were previously closed to the Russian Orthodox Church have led to an increase in the number of pilgrims and tourists willing to visit the Orthodox monasteries. This resulted in some problems relating to the need for the development of the necessary infrastructure and the necessity to provide the best possible conditions for both the visitors and monastery inhabitants. These problems are particularly acute in the monasteries of the Russian North. Many of which were previously destroyed and abandoned. The Spaso-Kamenny monastery of the Vologda Diocese located on a small island of the Kubensky lake is one of such monasteries. In this work, recommendations on the development of this monastery in the current conditions were proposed. These recommendations are based on the previously formulated four main principles of reconstruction and development of Orthodox monastery complexes in the Russian North. Authors show that for the further development of the Spaso-Kamenny monastery, it is reasonable to create a functional zone for pilgrims and tourists on the shore of the Kubensky lake. The building complex was designed, where the necessary and important one element for this zone the monastery museum was proposed. In this work, specific recommendations for an arrangement of this museum were given. It was shown that the main principles for reconstruction and development of Orthodox monastery complexes are also applicable for the monasteries, restoration of which has not been completed yet.

The article is devoted to the national specifics of Japanese shop-windows in an urban environment. In this regard, shop-windows are viewed from the point of view of the interaction of internal and external space, and not just as decor. The purpose of the article is to analyze how the traditional Japanese understanding of space was transformed under the influence of the Western lifestyle and the role of facades and shop-windows began to change. At the same time, it is important to understand that the Japanese designers managed to preserve the Japanese designers in shop-windows design after Westernization. First, according to F. Maki, the traditional Japanese concept of space "oku" ("oku - omote") is considered. Then, its transformation is investigated using the example of the so-called "sign houses" (kamban-kentiku). Then, in search of the national specifics of modern shop windows, the article studies modern shop-windows, and also analyzes the category of modern Japanese aesthetics "intermediate" "ma". The study concluded that the traditional Japanese understanding of space as a reversible void, when the most important thing is located in the depths of the “oku”, faced with the western way of life, is transformed into the model “Japanese oku (depth) - western omote (front side) ". Thus, there are “signage houses” of the kamban-kenchiku, the facade of which is “western”, and the rest with its “oku” is Japanese. In the further transformation, initially "western" shop-windows are also beginning to acquire Japanese characteristics. The most important role in this process is played by the modern category of Japanese aesthetics "ma", although it is closely related to tradition. It can be understood both as a generating void and as a connecting space.

The development of urban agglomerations as one of the most important urbanization processes in the modern world was considered. The economic expansion, as well as the increase in the motorization level in the middle of the 20th century, changed the vector of urban development from a vertical to a horizontal direction. This direction is also typical for the Belgorod region. The specificity of the development of the Belgorod suburbia is the massifs of individual residential buildings form a dense ring around the center of the region - Belgorod city. Statistical data that characterize the development of social infrastructure (general education and medical institutions), as well as transport infrastructure, were analyzed. It was revealed that in the emerging microdistricts of the suburbias, the transport, social and cultural infrastructure is not fully developed. It was shown that the reorganization of the transport infrastructure of the Belgorod suburbia should include some actions. One of them is the organization of transport interchange hubs as elements of transport infrastructure that can significantly change the current situation: to relieve roads, reduce car commuting, and provide people with the opportunity to comfortably transfer from one mode of transport to another. The organization of transport hubs will allow organizing a comfortable living environment for the population living in the agglomerated Belgorod suburban areas and reduce the load on the city's transport network.
