Human body digitalization, in other words, “mating” with technology, is characterized by a fusion of technologies that shrinks the boundaries of physical, digital, and biological world. For a long time, humans have been considered the pinnacle of evolution: that humanity has achieved its evolutionary peak and has nothing to evolve into. Today those who try to foresee the future of mankind and his evolution are thinking of cyborg image, a combination of a biological creature and a technological masterpiece. Electronics world is progressing at a very fast rate and today there are many revolutionary ideas, projects already underway that will end up being traded tomorrow or in a few years. The three authors, specialized in electronic field, predict that with the unprecedented development of electronics, there will be also a major change of paradigm in medicine, security, transportation, as well as in industrial business and marketing arena.

Inclusion, including students with disabilities in the general education classroom, has become the norm in the United States due to Public Law 94-142 (P.L. 94-142). The requirements of P.L. 94-142, now the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA), are explained in this chapter. Additionally, school districts are required to provide students with disabilities assistive technologies. Twenty-first century classrooms are now using Apple's iPad on a regular basis, with all students, in place of other assistive technologies. Apple's App Store offers numerous applications that can be used by students with disabilities. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a review of special education laws in the United States, while offering educators, parents, and specialists an overview of applications that have been developed for a variety of disabilities. Each application is categorized and briefly explained. The cost and compatibility with Apple devices is also provided.

When mind is at peace, body responds in the same tone. Contrarily, a little anxiety or worry may upset the peace of mind and body, leading to faster heartbeat, taut muscles, high or low blood pressure, abnormal hormone secretion, and over sweating. These are the common symptoms of stress. These may, in turn, lead to serious health issues, as well as psychological disorders, such as insomnia (sleeplessness), anger, and tendency to commit suicide. Nowadays the ratio of suicide is on the increase on a day-to-day scale. To overcome all these problems, and cater to human right to enjoy an environment of peace and quiet for better mental and physical performance, the authors have developed an Android-based offline, multi-functional mobile application: Relax Player App. It panoramically arrays natural sounds, animal sounds, instrumental music, white noise, and brain soothing melodies to relax and freshen up user's ears and mind. It also has in-built mechanism to create one's own melody by mixing these sounds, adding to its appeal.

The issue of women rights violations is nothing new. However, the modes of tackling the menace has changed and gained momentum by many degrees. With advances in technology, these modes have assumed the semblance of a technological crusade for the cause of women rights. Pakistan, a patriarchal society to the core, has not been behind others in the use of smart technology for socio-economic safety and empowerment of women. Some of these efforts are directly sponsored by government; others are the initiatives by individuals and companies in private capacity. Though different in form and shape, these measures have a common goal to empower women socio-economically, give them necessary technical training, and/or stand by them when justice is impeded. The current chapter throws light on the spectrum of work being done to use technology as a vehicle to curb incidence of violation of women rights, strengthen women, and help them live honorably.

Mobile health describes the supply of medical assistance services through mobile communication devices. We are witnessing a significant increase in demand for technologies and m-health applications. Apart from producing relevant improvements in life quality, the launch of platforms facilitating the transition between doctors, consumers, and companies operating within the biological science sector has led us to a community-based health, which is assimilated in the daily lives of consumers. The widespread use of devices and the rapid access to health assistance are an opportunity to revolutionize the industry. Thanks to mobile technologies capable of implementing the ubiquitous health, the right to health becomes real, which in turn allows a high-quality healthcare supply with reduced costs.

A mobile application is a computer program or application developed to run on a small handheld mobile device such as mobile phones, smartphones, PDAs, and so on. Such devices are sold with several apps bundled as pre-installed software, such as a web browser, email client, calendar, mapping program, and an app for buying music or other media or more apps. Apps that are not preinstalled are usually available through distribution platforms called app stores such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows Phone Store, and BlackBerry App World, etc. Usage of mobile apps has become increasingly prevalent across mobile phone users in the world. A recent study reported that during the previous quarter, more mobile subscribers used apps than browsed the web on their devices. Thus, a mobile application can aid in the prosecution of human rights violations, atrocities, human trafficking, and child laboring. In this chapter, authors provide a comprehensive study, design patterns, usage of several mobile applications designed for protecting human rights.

Healthcare is a basic human need in any civilization. In modern sense of geopolitics, a welfare state has to ensure easy access of public to basic amenities which include medical facilities. However, the areas, off mainland, usually stay deprived of quality medical services. This is generally the case in third world countries, including Pakistan. Here, due to lack of education and poverty, the suburban or countryside population remains ignorant of available qualified doctors. Everybody does not afford travelling to the nearest main city hospital. Those who afford sometimes experience extreme frustration at absence of their desired medic. In order to assist the deprived, the authors have developed a mobile-based appointment system for remote patients. This application not only helps in requesting appointments with doctors, but lets the android mobile user search the list of quality medics around. The details related to the use and effectiveness of this application have been discussed in the main chapter.

Pregnancy, as a matter of fact, is always physically and emotionally challenging for women. Rapid physical changes with baby's growth in the womb exposes the mother to severe mood swings from short spell of merriment to long spells of anxiety and depression about upcoming child's health, its wellbeing, and so on. Most of the third world countries with their struggling economies have patriarchal social fabric, a fact that makes it worse for women of these societies to healthily tackle or seek help during gestation. The main goal of the proposed application, MothersCare, is to help the expecting mothers when they need it most. It will help them choose the right physician and request appointments from the comfort of homes, barring cumbersome wait for turn in long queues in rush hours for appointments with doctors at hospitals. This app is absolutely user-friendly in terms of simplicity of use and wide spectrum of maternal healthcare services it offers.

The fashion industry is greatly dependent on in-store activity, where the customers try on clothes in large amount in dressing rooms. People face problems while shopping like changing the dress again and again in the dressing, wasting time deciding which unstitched or stitched dress will look good on them and the most important, the privacy issues for women. For women, it is not safe to try on dresses inside the rooms sometimes due to hidden camera violating their rights and privacy. Sometimes people can see right through the inward facing slats in the door. So, anyone passing by can see the particular women, which is just awful. In order to solve these issues relating customers and to increase the number of clothes one can try in short time, the authors have developed a technology named TryOn, which will allow you to try on dresses virtually on a screen inside a store without taking them off in the dressing rooms through augmented reality using RGBD sensor and 3D models of clothes.
