This article aims to describe the students' learning creativity profile reviewed from school's accreditation status. The method in this study was a survey method by distributing a questionnaire of students’ learning creativity through google form. Participants in the study were grade VIII students in public schools with National Standard School accredited status, schools with A accredited State Junior High School (JHS), and B accredited State Junior High School (JHS). Based on the results of data processing, there was a significant average difference in learning creativity on indicators the ability to deal with learning problems between public schools with National Standard School accredited status and schools with A accredited State JHS. The average ability to deal with learning problems is also significantly different between schools with A accredited State JHS, and B accredited State JHS. A significant difference in average is also shown in the indicators of interest in learning creations and indicators of the ability to develop in learning between public schools with National Standard School accredited status and schools with A accredited State JHS. The results of this study can be used as empirical data for research on guidance and counseling programs to develop students' creativity in schools.Keywords: Profile, learning creativity,  student

This article contains a description of tolerance in students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Cimahi. The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection using tolerance instruments. The research sample consisted of 120 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Cimahi and 64 students identified who were affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah religious organizations. The results of this study are first that the tolerance of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Cimahi is in the high category. Second, profiles of the aspect of tolerance consist of aspects of equality, respect for differences, and peace. Third, the results of the t-test indicate that there is no significant difference in the tolerance of students who are affiliated with the religious organizations of Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. The results of this study can be used as consideration for developing peace counseling and developing multicultural guidance and counseling program in Madrasah.

Culture shock is very much related to the situation where someone living in a new environment experiences worries and uncertainties of excessive feelings and thoughts. In University of Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA), the presence of culture shock is very apparent among students. This condition is not only motivated by the status of UNSIKA as a State University in Karawang area, but also because the position of Karawang City located on the border of the Capital City, in which it is the center of Metropolitan life. Thus, this situation may affect the social conditions of the community which is later formed a culture shock. There are a big number of students who come to study at UNSIKA from various regions, including outside Java Island. This condition makes culture shock experienced by students at UNSIKA at varying stages.

Program evaluation in comprehensive guidance and counseling is very important to determine the level of goal achievement. In order for the evaluation results to provide the right information, a valid and reliable instrument is needed. At the higher education level, the comprehensive guidance and counseling program, including the program evaluation component, does not have many references that users can refer to. The available references focus more on primary and secondary education levels. This research is intended to produce the intended evaluation instrument. Descriptive methods and literature review were used in this study. The data were revealed using a Delphi technique questionnaire involving three experts, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. In this study, the constructs of evaluation instruments for comprehensive guidance and counseling programs were synthesized and modified from various expert opinions and professional organizations with two patterns of answers: yes and no, translated into 294 statements. The resulting evaluation instrument needs to be empirically tested for its feasibility by involving adequate participants.

The purpose of this study is to obtain a real picture of the cultural intelligence of students in East Priangan and analyze it from the point of view of the dynamics of individual development and the philosophy of life of the Sundanese ethnic community. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses a descriptive method. Collecting data using a questionnaire to reveal the level of cultural intelligence of students which is then analyzed conceptually and empirically from the point of view of the dynamics of human development. The results showed that the achievement of cultural intelligence of students in East Priangan was above the average. The empirical results indicate that the psychophysical efforts of students to be able to adapt effectively and normatively in a higher education environment are close to optimal. This condition was determined by the real embodiment of the mandates contained in several Sundanese ethnic heritage texts from generation to generation both in thinking, feeling, and behaving.

Work engagement is one of the dimensions that contribute to the development of professional identity. This article aims to describe 1) the level of work involvement of the counselor, and 2) the influence of work experience and educational background on counselors' work engagement. The research method used is comparative. A total of 211 school counselors participated as online-incidental sampling respondents. The research respondent was asked to be involved by sharing the invitation link to several counselor social media groups in Indonesia. The instrument used is a work engagement scale adapted from the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale. The results of the instrument reliability test showed a score of 0.88. The data were analyzed by inferential statistics using a two-way analysis of variance (two-way ANOVA). The conclusions of this study are the average work engagement of 211 respondents in this study is in the high category and there is no effect of work experience and educational background on counselor work engagement. The results of this study serve as preliminary findings of a complete framework for further research on the professional identity of school counselors in Indonesia.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the emergence of various social and economic problems that have caused anxiety for mothers in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the level of anxiety between stay-at-home mothers and working mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic and its causes. The research method was survey with a total sample of 276 people. The research instrument was the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), while the statistical analysis used the independent sample T-test. The result shows that sig. (two-tailed) of anxiety level among mothers in Indonesia is .05. From the study, we can conclude that there is no significant difference in the anxiety level between stay-at-home mothers and working mothers. Factors that influence the lack of difference in anxiety level include age, education level, and culture. Both working mothers and stay-at-home mothers face the same level of anxiety during Covid-19 pandemic.

This study aims to identify the model of strengthening the national identity through the cadre pattern in the Islamic Student Association organization (HMI). This study applied a qualitative approach with a case study method. Student organizations have a crucial role in providing insight, sense, and spirit of Indonesian nationalism that is wrapped in the frame of Unity in Diversity. One of the challenges faced by a student organization in Indonesia is the ability of this organization to protect its noble goals from certain interests, which can direct the activities to the issues that violate the motto. In this context, cadre in student organizations must strive to foster and strengthen the spirit of nationalism. The presence of a student religious organization provides its uniqueness that is noteworthy to study. Therefore, this study will identify how the concept of student religious organization regeneration, especially the Islamic Student Association. In this article, the researcher views that the cadre of a religious student organization such as the Islamic Student Association has a very unique and strong style of regeneration. It can be observed from the numerous cadres of Islamic Student Association who work in government, non-governmental organizations, and other sectors who are highly open with differences and voice about the importance of togetherness in unity, which is based on the ideology of struggle, i.e., pluralism, democracy, state administration, and law enforcement. The three struggle programs are determinative factors for caring for the National Identity (Unity in Diversity).

This article contains an analysis of the life meaning of the elderly living in a nursing home. The life meaning is obtained from a theoretical literature review about the life meaning (the results of research from 2009-2020). Based on the theory, the elderly are classified into 4 groups, namely: middle age which is between 45-59 years old, elderly which is between 60-74 years old, old which is between 75-90 years old, and very old which is over 90 years old. The steps in this literature review are identifying key research topics; read abstract of relevant research results; record the reading results by making a literature map (literature map) in sequence; pouring a general view of the research topic based on existing literature, then explaining the originality and importance of the research topic to be carried out in comparison with the existing literature. The study results of this article are useful for guiding the implementation of guidance and counseling for the life meaning of the elderly’s life.

Students are often faced with numerous challenges, which can bring on stress, anxiety, depression or relationship problems with those around them. Because of the foregoing, this study examined the principals’ perception of guidance and counselling in secondary schools. The study population consist of all principals in secondary schools in Kwara State, Nigeria. Non-probability sampling techniques (stratified, purposive and convenience) were employed to select 20 principals to participate in the study. An instrument titled “Interview Guide on Guidance and Counselling Services (IGGCS)” was used to collect relevant data from the principals while secondary data were obtained from the counselling department of the schools. Nvivo software (version 10) was used to analyse the data collected. The findings of the study revealed that principals believe the provision of counselling services had a significant impact on student's academic achievement, even though most of the secondary schools do not have a good counselling unit, qualified counsellors, and counselling facilities. This study recommends that a well-equipped counselling unit should be available in schools. Only certified counsellors should be deployed to offer counselling services to students. Lastly, students should be sensitized and encouraged by the school on the need for them to go for counselling to solve their numerous challenges.
