This article reveals the features of mathematical modeling of the technological process of work and the parameters of the device for the formation of longitudinal pawls between cotton rows. And also, the results of the STUDY are presented, and the following main conclusions were made: the task of mechanizing the formation of longitudinal legs can be solved by lifting the soil from the two side furrows and throwing it into the central furrow using a palletizing device with active working organs. Studies have shown that for the qualitative formation of longitudinal dogs between rows of cotton, it is advisable to use a device with a single-pass continuous auger. To avoid damage to cotton seedlings, to ensure the required productivity with minimal energy consumption, the screw device must have the following parameters: the screw diameter is 400 mm, the inner and outer diameters of the screw pipe 420 and 426 mm; respectively, the pitch of the screw is 320 mm; the rotation speed of not less than 325 rpm; and the mounting angle relative to horizontal-not more than 35 °; the entry angle into the ground shield located in front of the screw tube, the device needs to be within 24-25º.

The article describes the developed radiometer for Express measurement of alpha radiation of radioactive elements based on a large-diameter silicon detector. The main element of the PPD detector is made using computer mathematical modeling of all stages of the technological process of manufacturing detectors, taking into account at each stage the degree of influence of the properties of the initial silicon on the electrophysical and radiometric characteristics of the detector. Detectors are manufactured for certain types of devices. The developed radiometer is designed to measure alpha radiation of natural isotopes (238U, 234U, 232Th, 226Ra, 222Rn, 218Po, 214Bi, etc.) in various environments. It also shows the principle of operation of the device, provides a block diagram of the measuring complex, describes the electronic components of the radiometer, as well as the block diagram. Signal transformations (spectrum transfer, filtering, accumulation) are implemented programmatically on the basis of a digital processing module. The device can detect the presence of specific elements in various environments, as well as protect people from the harmful effects of adverse radiation and can be used both in the field and stationary.

In case of pressed composite biofuels production the important part of the production process is the input row materials disintegration. In dependence on disintegrated material properties, disintegration device, grinding stage and technological process there is in practice necessary for disintegration of culm materials 0.5–7% and of wooden species even 0.75–10% of total energetical content of material. A wide range of these figures means that in this sphere of raw materials adaptation can be reached relative high savings through correct choice of technological process and device. The authors of the paper have measured energy consumption of fine disintegration of lignocellulose materials in dependence on particles size and moisture. By the realized measurement of different average size of both input and output particles and consequent statistical evaluation was proved the fiducial energy consumption increase at higher stage of disintegration and higher moisture of the input material. All measurements were carried-out for the grinding mill ŠK 300 and the output particles size was limited by the exchange sieves mesh dimension.

Abstract The energy and exergy analysis, drying characteristics and mathematical modeling of the thin-layer drying kinetics of white mulberry using microwave drying were investigated. Results indicated that values of exergy efficiency (33.63–57.08%) were higher than energy efficiency (31.85–55.56%). Specific energy consumption increased with increasing microwave power while improvement potential decreased. The specific energy consumption and improvement potential varied from 3.97 to 6.73 MJ/kg water and 0.71 to 2.97 MJ/kg water, respectively. Also, energy efficiency decreased with decrease in moisture content and microwave power level. The best exergy and energy aspect was obtained by drying at 100 W microwave power. Drying took place mainly in warming up, constant rate and falling rate periods. The Page model showed the best fit to experimental drying data. Effective diffusivity increased with decreasing moisture content and increasing microwave power. It varied from 1.06 × 10−8 to 3.45 × 10−8 m2/s, with an energy activation of 3.986 W/g.

Based on the tapping machines special structural features and practices, from both directions of rotation and impact established the tapping machine mechanism rotating borer and impact dynamic mathematical model, analysed the effect of different tapping machines parameters on the model itself, simulated the model with inputting wide pulse signal, the simulation results show that: firstly, the tapping machine model established in this paper is reasonable; secondly, increase the damping coefficient of the blast furnace, the tapping machines rotating borer rotation speed and impact attenuation speed decrease.

The influence of pumping unit’s elements on the overall energyefficiency of its work is viewed in the article. The areas of pumping unit’s operation effectiveness are identified and evaluated within the field of his QH characteristics and efficiency of its use in real technological process. The methodology of pumping unit’s operation evaluation in different modes through indicators of unit electrical energy consumption is developed.

This paper designs a measurement system of energy consumption for clothes model controlled by robot technology, the system uses DC motor regulated by PWM regulator to drive the worm wheel reducer and the sinusoidal mechanism, then to drive the robot legs to swing forward and backward in sinusoidal step. The sensors detect the rotation speed and torque of the sinusoidal mechanism, the power and energy consumption. The experiments show the system is high in accuracy, excellent in repetition, and suitable for the further research on the principle and evaluation system of the clothes energy consumption.
